During my visit, I was the only dine in customer and I'm thinking most customers may order to go or do catering as the atmosphere just isn't very homey at all. I reviewed the menu and was originally set on ordering some dish with beef tenderloin as they have a few, but I ended up selecting my go-to, a gyro. I didn't want fries, so I subbed for the lemon potatoes. The gyro was very large and filling, and tasty. The pieces of meat were just shaved and not crispy or anything like you may receive on some gyro at other places. The potatoes were homemade and basically 1/4 potatoes, sliced lengthwise. I was so full from the gyro that I only ate one of the potatoes but didn't think it was very lemony at all. Customer service was excellent the entire time and they will even come to your table and take your plate away as if they are full service, which they aren't . I also ordered a slice of coconut cream pie, or at least that's what they said it was. It had no cream in it and appeared to be a coconut custard pie not that different than the one I make at home. It was delicious as well.

We got the bluefin tuna tostadas (10/10), Grilled Octopus & bone marrow (10/10), potato & queso empanada with caviar and crème fraiche (8/10), peach & burrata (9.5/10) as the appetizers and I can confidently say I was already blown away. Then we got the Wagyu Carne Asada (10/10), Duck two ways (9/10) and the Street corn agnolotti (8/10). Nothing was bad. it was all so good and I now see why there's so much recognition around this place. The service was great, the ambiance was unassuming, the food was perfection, and lowkey - I'm going back in the fall for next season's menu. Kudos to this place bc holy shit. I feel they put thought into the blends you could pick from. though it was not clear from the website that afternoon tea only includes hot tea and if you wanted the iced tea it would cost extra. it would be nice for that to be mentioned somewhere because i feel they spent a lot of time outlining all the other details on the website. the service that day was slow, i think there may have been just one server for everyone inside the shop and it was pretty busy. so i think that influenced that side of it. but things happen. overall my experience was great and would love to come back.
