I can't understand how a pizza place that -does- sell by the slice can stop selling by the slice at 2pm.

I keep ordering from Brothers bc I like their pizza. but they consistently make mistakes. sometimes it takes two hours for delivery bc someone forgot to put in our order. tonight they messed up our order and they said we could bring it back. i wish they would give us a credit because it was their mistake. they just said we wont do it again. Pretty good pizza! Overall, I liked the pizza dough texture, sauce and toppings! Everything was fresh and made the way a NY pizza should be! We ordered and everything pizza and also a Hawaiian pizza and it was made as requested. The toppings were all fresh, the sauce was made from scratch and the dough/crust was good! I believe that if you are looking for a New York style pizza with a softer crust this is a great place! I would give this restaurant two thumbs up! Brothers pizza on Woodlands Parkway has the best lasagne in town! The Stromboli was tasty too and I must have ordered a large because it could feed like 3 people. The philly cheese steak was disproportioned little meat to lots of bread ratio...otherwise all great tasting food. I always pick my order up as anything your get delivered does not at all taste the same when picking it up fresh at this location, especially pizza. Being from the Northeast Brothers Pizza is the closest thing to NY style pizza one can find in the area. However, we simply stopped patronizing the establishment when the owner's, sister's husband decided he thought he'd mock, make fun of my girlfriend and me as I nodded to him that we wanted a deluxe stromboli as soon as we entered the establishment and made eye contact with him. As the gal working the cash register went to ring me up I politely told her I had forgotten my debit card, could not pay them and we exited the premises. That was a year ago and we haven't been back since. The gist here is you shouldn't mock your customers, make fun of them and make them feel the way he did that day. Especially when your short, overweight, homely and wear Coke bottle glasses (the way he does). We've since discovered Crust Pizza just down the street. At Crust the pizza is equally as good, if not better, no one mocks, and or makes fun of us as we place our order. Peace out, Brothers we'll take our ($) business elsewhere. read more

This place is such a staple of this community with the home feel of a New York pizzeria. Delicious pies at reasonable prices it's would be impossible not to return again and again. Wooden panel walls, soda fountain and a big screen for sports this place is just hands down amazing. Great for grabbing a slice for lunch or a big pizza for parties. It's New York style pizza like you'd expect. You order, they make it in front of you hand tossed. Nothing else like it in the woodlands. Place has been here for years and clearly has a local following. It's true NYC style pizza and the sauce is great with a thin slice. They have pizza by the slice as well which is another great option. This is a no frills place, good pizza and real people. The money is going to the food not for fancy atmosphere or posh toppings. They serve beer which is a plus! Have many other typical Italian offerings from pasta to eggplant Parmesan. I'd choose here over the typical delivery any day for the sake of the money going to a family owned business with a great product. read more

CRAPPY CHEESE IS NOT WORTH ALL THE CHOLESTEROL!!! Another pizza place bites the dust in The Woodlands! This use to be really good pizza but it's not anymore. The cheese doesn't have the same flavor it use to. So sad. Tastes like a very cheap generic mozzarella. Last month our cheese pizza had very little cheese and lots of tomato sauce = Yuck. So last time we ordered pizza w/extra cheese and they put on wayyyy to much of that cheap quality cheese and the delivery guy must have held it sideways because the cheese shifted to one side in a gloppy mess. See my pics. Plus it was barely sliced so separating it was a mess leaving no cheese on some pieces and other pieces with so much cheese to give a cow a heart attack. It took one hour and 25 minutes to get this slop delivered. Staff is still friendly only positive attribute. Next time we will make sure we keep a Trader Joes pizza dough on hand in the fridge and a Hubbell & Hudson homemade mozzarella ball in the fridge (so good) and just make our own in a few minutes. read more

You ever notice that the one star reviews of places you know to be excellent usually come from people with very few reviews? I have two theories about this. 1) they are either fake reviews from the competition in an attempt to discredit the good reviews of actual Yelpers who give honest opinions of places they actually go to. 2) these people are just miserable and if you read their other review its all complaints and no praise. Good pizza. A little hidden gem (and I do mean hidden) deep, deep in the heart of the Woodlands. Make sure you go to the location off Kuykendahl. You know it has to be good when it's right next door to a Pizza Hut people and you see people standing outside waiting for it to open. Went there on a recommendation and ended up coming back the very next day (even though it was still a journey through the enchanted forest). I'd probably go more often when I'm in the Woodlands if it was located more accessible, like just off the feeder of the 45 Frwy (or not to far off into the Woodlands). It would probably generate more revenue too. It's all about Location! Location! Location! The only two complaints was (1) having to swat away a flying gnat both days we ate there. Those are some of the nastiest insects on earth. I don't know if it was the same gnat from the previous day, or if it's an infestation problem, but they probably need to set off some insect bombs one night before closing to rid the problem; (2) storage! Having a place to store all the pizza boxes and carry out bags will make the place a little more presentable, especially since they are stored out in the eating area. It takes away from the restaurant decor and would allow for another table both inside because seating is a bit scarce when it gets crowded. Other than those two things (the gnat being the worst and most disgusting), the pizza is great! read more

When a fellow native Nor'easterner told me that this was the only respectable pizza around this town, I hightailed it over to see for myself. Brothers Pizza was started by a group of siblings, each of which took on one of different locations throughout The Woodlands (hence the name). They claim to serve New York style pizza and my first visit here revealed a fair semblance to the pizzerias of my hometown. The dining area is fairly large, with a variety of booths, tables, and high counters. They offer a variety of pie sizes, ranging from small (10") to large (16"), with all of the requisite toppings offered. Also note that all of their topping combinations are available in slices. I was going to get a whole small mushroom pie since I really wanted it as a topping and didn't see it in the ready-to-heat display, but the owner kindly directed me to the lunch special menu (slices, optional side salad, and a fountain drink) and offered it as a slice because it might "save you a little more money." That was unexpected advice, especially coming from a business owner, but I certainly appreciated the service. Upon first bite, I was fairly impressed. The crust to tomato to cheese ratio is respectably similar to city slices and aside from a slightly soft crust and a thicker-than-usual sheen of oil, I had no complaints. Because I'm a huge crust gal, I asked them to send my second slice through the oven for an additional reheat, making the crust deliciously crispy and toasty. As such, I plan on asking them for similar double time in the oven on subsequent visits and would HIGHLY recommend you do as well. On a slight downside, service can be a little slow. My husband's own slice took a little more than ten minutes, making his order come out far long after those who had ordered after him. The owner was sweet and apologetic for the wait, but it does bring the 'express' part of the business name into question. For a pizzeria in the South, I'm happy to report that Brothers pulls a fair game at Big Apple-style slices and will definitely return when those cravings for home hit. read more

Very specifically asked for pizza to be cooked longer, so the crust was crisp. The first time I came here I met some great people who ensured me they had the best service and that they would be my new go-to. We used them happily for 4 months. Today we ordered a pizza and waited 2 hours. No delivery or call back. Finally called back and was told it was on the way. Called again and checked status after another 30 min. Was told to wait another 5 min. Still no call back. Called again to be cussed out by the female manager who told me I was "not her kid or her husband and don't f---ing come back here or call again" and not to expect anything else. Finally asked for a refund. Hopefully I get it. :( I always really liked this place. Guess I'll take it up with my bank.
