Twin lobster tails...yum!
Liz B.

Twin tail lobster Tuesday is where it's at! Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced, plus the waitstaff was super friendly. Overall great experience!

Overpriced small portions. Avoid the Lobster Combo, the 'lobster' portion is the size of a shrimp. The crabcake is mostly filler. The Surf n Turf is a better choice with a decent sized lobster tail. Calamari is good for appetizer. Service is great, Melissa is awesome.

Went to Kingfish for their Tuesday special - Twin Lobster Tail dinner. The restaurant is nice inside, spacious and well decorated. Our waitress was very pleasant and brought us ice water right away. After starting with some drinks, we ordered the twin tails with roasted green beans and mashed potatoes. The Lobsters were cooked perfectly and very delicious. Also, the sides were tasty, especially the mashed potatoes. This place is a must for anyone looking for a great meal!

A mixed drink I forgot what it was but it sure was good.

After a guy I work with recommended me to go to the King Fish, my wife and I went for dinner on a Friday night. Food was delicious, service was excellent. We called ahead a half hour before for reservations and we got right in. We will be returning in the future.

First time eating here. First impression walking into smaller open dinning area was its kinda loud in there. Got seated and waitress came over for a drink order in a timely manor. I ordered their version (forget the name) of an old fashion. It was ok and had no lack of bourbon (which I'm fine with) Apps ordered and the calamari was very salty. I could at this point see the place was running at minimum staffing. No one cleaning tables once customers left and our waitress had a larger group and my water sat empty for some time. The food came out and was decent I had the Chilean Sea Bass $41.00. It was a nice size portion and tasted good. I would give the place a second chance but wouldn't rush back. At $159.00 for two of us you have to hit the details!!

I have been coming here for years and it is always good. The salad with pears and cheese is one of my favorites as is the calamari.

Absolutely delicious and easily the standout dish of the meal. 8.7/10 14 oz dry aged ribeye - lacked juiciness, was underseasoned, and had an excessive amount of fat. With a premium price tag, I expected a much higher level of quality. 7.1/10 Shrimp + Clam Linguine Pasta - made with sherry cream sauce, cherry tomatoes, baby spinach, and tarragon oil. Sadly, the cream sauce was surprisingly bland. After eating the seafood and a few bites of the pasta, the rest went to waste. 7.4/10 Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs - accompanied by baby carrots, horseradish chive mashed potatoes, pickled peppers, and fried leeks. While the short ribs were tender, they were also the fattiest I've ever had. 7.7/10 Grilled Asparagus + Hollandaise - well prepared. 7.7/10 Asiago Crab Mac 'n' Cheese - lacking flavor and had very little crab. 7.5/10 All in all, I loved the atmosphere and the service was fantastic, but the quality of the food did not match the prices.

Even so, my girlfriend and I were able to find dishes we enjoyed. Overall, the service is great. However, the timing with dishes can be a bit too far apart. The food is really solid. If you love entrees on the sweet side, it is ideal, but dishes with less sugar would be welcomed. Their Brussel sprouts are amazing as is their stellar baked brie. (The latter is sweet but the balance is spot-on.) My girlfriend loved her thick and tender pork chop. I tried it as well and it was fantastic. I recommend their melt-in-your-mouth braised ribs and their chocolate peanut butter pie is so outrageous, it should be illegal. We are surprised this restaurant is not packed but this may be due to the service since they are usually understaffed.

A waitress came with our drinks and took our food order. She was very nice. We both ordered the Baby Greens salad and Filet Mignons. The salads were very fresh and had candied walnuts, blueberries and mandarin oranges in them. These were really delicious. The Filets came with potato gratin and vegetable sides. The steaks were cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. I also enjoyed the potato side, but not so much the vegetables. Overall the food was fantastic and the service just as good. I will definitely be coming back.

However, the overall experience was disappointing due to slow service, lack of communication, and issues with the food. We visited after the Lehigh Graduate Commencement Ceremony and were seated from 1:30-3:00 PM. Our server, Younise, only checked on us roughly every 15 minutes. It then took 45 minutes for pretzels and another 30 minutes for our 2 entrees. While we overheard that the kitchen was behind, this was never communicated to us directly, which made the long wait more frustrating. There was also an issue with my order. I ordered the Caesar salad wrap (Julius' Chicken Dance $14), but I was brought a Caesar salad with chicken ($3 up-charge) instead. The server did not offer to have the kitchen correct it or provide an alternative. After discussing it, I eventually asked if she could bring me a tortilla so I could make the wrap myself. A 15% discount was applied, which I appreciated, but the bill still listed the incorrect meal and reflected the higher-priced salad instead of the wrap I originally ordered. The burger was also underwhelming, as the cheese was not melted. For a meal that came to over $60 for pretzels, a burger, a salad item, and one drink, I expected better communication, food quality, and customer service. The ambiance was great, but the entrees and service unfortunately did not match the setting

Great service, great food…read more The person who booked our dinner reservations did not know this was a cigar bar so we were a bit shocked walking in, but we were seated downstairs at the farthest away table so we thankfully didn't smell much smoke. Service was great, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. For apps we did the pirogies which were some of the best I've ever had, the red wine sauce was amazing!, as well as the shoulder lean which was good. For an entree, I did the Jimmy Pesto wrap. Good flavor and massive portion, but the chicken was very dry. Husband got the What's the Dilla, which was great and again a massive portion. We also enjoyed most our cocktails.

3 times and 3 hits entirely out of the park…read more On our recent visit we were seated at some what of a community table which initially we weren't thrilled about but how they have it set up it truly feels like you're alone at the table, it helped that the other couple was a delight. We ordered the Caesar salad (phenomenal) The steak tartare, just divine perfection The waitress heard me talking about the sweat breads from the chicken dish (that I wasn't ordering, I'll explain shortly) and said the chef could do them as a side dish, DELICIOUS!!! My husband got the world's largest most delicious pork chop. Now, my meal. I ordered the halibut and recognized that perhaps it wasn't for me, but I ordered it it was my choice I wasn't going to send it back. Our waitress took note that I wasn't eating and told me that simply would not do and hustled to the kitchen to come out with the chicken dish, I was so appreciative of her noticing and accommodating this, truly, amazing service and that chicken was succulent beyond words! We also got 3 of the desserts, the seasonal eggnog bread pudding, the cinnamon raisin bread pudding which was insanely delicious as I personally am not a huge bread pudding fan but if every bread pudding was this? That would be my go to! And of course the butterscotch pudding which better never leave the menu because it is lick your plate delicious!!! I also enjoyed a hot cocktail which on a cold night was heavenly. A once cozy and romantic atmosphere, is now a crowded, loud dining room. I had made a reservation on Resy (as per Bolete's website) and requested an upstairs table. In the notes, I mentioned our anniversary, and that we were looking forward to a cozy table to celebrate. Unfortunately, we were seated in the middle of two other parties, whom were both facing us. The lighting was contemporary, and kept brightening then dimming, repeatedly throughout the evening. There was little to no decor, I'm assuming that was removed to fit the volume of tables. The food was as delicious, as I had remembered. However, my husband ordered the ribeye, and was told they were out of steak, but that the pork chop was a delicious second choice. Sorry...a pork chop is not comparable to a steak. An appetizer we chose was also no longer available. Perhaps if Bolete had stuck with quality over quantity, they would not have run out of our first choice options? For our few, and far between date nights these days, the overall experience was a disappointment.
