Went for Sunday brunch and the meal was excellent. The have bottomless mimosas which were fabulous and our waitress Aesha was very attentive refilling our champagne constantly and even sending some to go. The food was great, my Cobb salad was extra fancy with blackened shrimp and deviled eggs!

This was the first restaurant stop for our Bachelorette weekend and it was an absolutely good choice! We walked into the bar area, so we were surprised by how big the space was. Lots of room but still cozy enough to be intimate. The restaurant was pretty busy for a slower weekend in NOLA. We were seated and perused the menu. There were so many delicious options...from the appetizers to mains to dessert...it was hard to choose just one! I began the meal with the Hurricane Huey and the Fried Green Tomatoes & Shrimp Remoulade; fried green tomatoes and/or deviled eggs are a must-eat wherever I go, so I knew this was happening! I reluctantly offered to share them with my friends. Only one person took me up on it; I think most of my friends knew I was planning to inhale them alone... And for good reason because the fried green tomatoes were amazing! Full, but unwilling to give up, I ordered the Pepper Jelly Glazed Pork Chop. It was cooked to perfection and the twice baked potato was worth risking the dairy allergy. 11/10 would do it again. The bartenders know how to make a memorable drink. Our server did a phenomenal job keeping up with our orders and making sure we were pleased with our experience, so much so that if I ever find myself back in NOLA, I'll swing by again!

On a cold night in NOLA we walked into this warm spot. It was warm in temperature as well hospitality. Our server was especially friendly and welcoming. The classic cocktail Vieux Carré wasn't on the menu but our waiter assured me they knew how to make it. Indeed they did. Food is a modern Creole. My wife wasn't hungry so she got a delicious beet salad. I went with the shrimp and grits. I enjoyed it a lot. We celebrated our anniversary here and the Bourbon sauce Pecan pie was a great celebration.

We came as walk-in's for lunch while we were waiting for our hotel check-in time. I usually like to be prepared and have an idea of where we're eating ahead of time, but absolutely no regrets about finding this spot! We ordered the fried catfish and also the crabcake Benedict and they definitely set the BAR for expectations on food for my first time in New Orleans! I typically forget the names of places we eat at on vacation, but I had to look this place up on my bank statement to make sure that I could say that our server, Melissa, was FANTASTIC. Honestly if there were more servers like her out there, it would make even "meh" restaurants just so much better to experience. Thanks for being the first friendly face we got to see here!

What a great place. Christian the bartender and his counter part were great. Nice customer service. Great craft cocktails... especially the Pimm's cup. The food is great. The restaurant had a nice vibe. The manager was very funny. Love this place!

Best place I've eaten anywhere! I sat at the bar but there was plenty of seating at tables as well. I had a blackberry bramble, the gumbo and the crab cakes; coming here was the best experience I've had in New Orleans. The servers, the food, the experience - everything was incredible. I've tried over 20 restaurants since I've been here and this is my favorite thus far. I'm going back because the food and drinks were great and I haven't found anywhere else locally that comes close. I can't wait to go back today to try more of their options. I can't recommend this place enough!!

This place was epic. We went up to a fireman on the street in NOLA and asked him where he would eat around the area and he recommended this place. The chicken was some of the best that I've ever had. All of the flavors on this plate combined so well together to make for a truly southern dish. The place was beautiful as well! Nice open windows for a view of the liveliness of the city. So good

Loved this place. Best meal we've had since we were here. Leon made amazing suggestions and they did not disappoint. We had the redfish and shrimp etoufee, and finished with the white chocolate bread pudding with blueberry compote. The music, food, and ambiance were just right! We will be back again.

Mannn most French Quarter restaurants are a hit or miss, but Kingfish? Omg. My friend and I actually ended up walking in just as they were opening on a Sunday for brunch. We decided to sit at the bar to get a little food in our system before hitting the second line, and let me tell you, sitting at the bar was the best decision. Ms. Asia did her big one! She was so sweet and funny, kept the conversation flowing, and most importantly...kept the drinks bottomless (because let's be real, that's the whole point of brunch lol). I'm pretty sure they were tired of us by the time we left. The rest of the staff were hilarious and super friendly too, it felt like hanging out with family you actually like. I ordered the jambalaya risotto. I'm not gonna lie, it looked a little suspect when it came out, but mannnn, the flavor was crazy. So good, I started telling people to pull up before I even left the restaurant. We got there when it was still quiet, but by the time we left, I couldn't tell if the crowd showed up or if we were the noise (probably both). Prices were also super reasonable, especially for the quality and service. Long story short, Kingfish is officially in my rotation. If you're looking for good food, strong drinks, and even better people, this is it.

Born and raised NOLA native, Kyle gave us excellent service.
    Cynthia L.

Wow! We're visiting from Los Angeles for New Year's Eve, and after a long day of walking around the French Quarter, we arrived thirsty and exhausted. Kyle saved the day! He greeted us at the bar with a huge smile, menus, and impeccable service. We were especially impressed when a guest nearby left his cellphone; despite the holiday rush, Kyle didn't hesitate to run out after him to return it. He stayed organized and personable the entire night, and the grilled cheese and apple chicken salad absolutely hit the spot. Truly top-notch service!

    Café Rum-Tini
    Ally R.

Service was wonderful from host and servers. We enjoyed Sazerac, Pimm's Cup (made with ginger beer and crushed ice- my personal favorite so far in NOLA) and Cafe rum-tini's. All of the cocktails were curated excellently and had their own unique twist to the common recipes. The atmosphere was lovely - nice for group and family dinner. The highlight was the big brûlée cheesecake- it comes with a raspberry and white chocolate sauce but the cake on its own is absolutely perfect!

Do they have a dress code? Is yoga pants okay?

Yoga paints are good to go... laid back place (especially if you go daytime or happy hour)

On Christmas Day, will there be regular menu items other than the Reveillon menu?

Usually Reveillion menu is only dinner not lunch. Being Christmas Day that might change so I would suggest calling the restaurant.

I made a reservation for Christmas. I am bringing my family as well as a 1 year old and 4 year old. Is the restaurant child friendly? Also, is there a dress code?

Hello, Vania! We definitely welcome families in our restaurant, and we do not have a dress code. We look forward to seeing you for the holidays!!

We were seated in the upstairs area and tried some of their drinks. We got the Brandy Crusta which is their most popular drink and the Pouvez-Vous Poulet which is a seasonal cocktail. The Brandy Crusta has the cup dipped in sugar with a fairly strong cocktail within. Definitely get this when you are here as that is one of the best Brandy Crustas and is historical. The Pouvez-Vous Poulet is a duck fat washed rum cocktail and is also very delicious. You cannot really go wrong with any cocktail, but definitely order the Brandy Crusta for the true experience here. Though, honestly, while the cocktails are good, it was not as memorable as the other Top 50 Best Bars in the World that I have been to, but I won't dock a star off because of this, since the cocktails and overall experience otherwise were fantastic. Service is good but can be a bit slow, but it is an acceptable tradeoff for a more quiet ambience compared to downstairs.

While the Sazerac wasn't invented here, this is arguably its most iconic home, a place where New Orleans cocktail history comes to life. I would use this version as your gold standard when dining out in New Orleans and looking for a perfect Sazerac. We enjoyed watching bartender Rachel craft each drink. Rye whiskey, Peychaud's Bitters, and sugar are stirred in a small pitcher with ice. The serving glass is chilled, then emptied, and finished with an absinthe rinse along the rim. The cocktail is strained into the glass and topped with a lemon peel. The atmosphere makes the experience even better. Atmosphere/Appearance: It's EXTREMELY BUSY and very loud in here. Lol. As mentioned above, the bar is located inside the hotel so once you walk in through the front door you enter the lobby then head to the right. It's a first-come, first-serve situation (at least it was for us at the time). So of course, the carousel bar is the highlight. It's a slow rotating bar rail and it's adorable. Lol. Almost the entire bar is eyeing any available spots so you have to be quick, but be respectful. However, there are tables and such sprinkled throughout the bar where you can hangout at as you stalk the actual carousel. My wife and I sat in the window which made for some excellent people watching. Lol. Eventually after what felt like an hour or we did spot some spots on the carousel, my wife held them for me as I closed the check then finally got to sit... and SPIN! The bar completes a full revolution every 15 minutes so you definitely won't get dizzy. Service: We had no issues here whatsoever. The staff is just super busy all over the place, but they didn't miss a beat. Food: For my first drink I checked out their Oaxacan Midnight which was like a tequila play on the Old Fashioned. It was delicious, a bit lighter than an Old Fashioned, but certainly stood on it's own. For our first appetizer bar bite we tried the Blue Crab & Corn Beignet which didn't come out as I was expecting. Lol. I'm not mad, I just pictured the big, fluffy things from Cafe Du Monde, but maybe stuffed with goodies! These were more like fritter than I absolutely loved so much I ordered a 2nd plate. Lastly we tried the BBQ Shrimp which was grilled to perfection with a good snap, excellent flavor and good char along with a tangy, cream sauce on top. Value: It's pricey. Food and drinks were decent, but a SMIDGE overpriced, but... they know you're going to pay because you're on vacation, you're a tourist and you wanna be in this novelty bar. Lol. Regardless, I had a blast and you can say you did too whenever you check this place out! In conclusion, I've now been there, done that. Lol. I don't have to do it again, but if you're in the area, check this place out. It's a good time.
