The "spicy kimbap" caught my attention because I've had kimbap from like H Mart before, but never a spicy version. I took it home, tried it, and honestly... I was impressed. I know it sounds simple - it's just kimbap with some spice - but as someone who enjoys spicy food, this had a really nice kick that elevated the whole thing. The best part? It's also cheaper than what I've seen at Korean markets like H Mart. My only regret was not buying more the first time. Ah ha! I've found another delicious to-go food spot. Inside this busy plaza lies a spot of land with great selections. Inside the market there is a Korean stand off to the right. It's like I've struck gold with these delectable home-made Korean banchans, box meal seats, kimchi fried rice, pork ribs, and more. I've gotten an array of items from the savory and sweet pork ribs (that are so juicy and large) to the pumpkin (sweet and soft). All of which, do not disappoint. Among all the delicious food are the reasonable prices that you simply can't find in the economy nowadays. I couldn't keep this place a secret anymore. They have plenty of banchan to balance out your entrees, which is perfect because who has time to prepare banchan? There is a variety of kimchi to choose from as well as ready-to-go meals that range from bento style boxes, fried fish, spicy rice cakes, karage style chicken and so-on and so-on. It is surprising they have so many items in a small space. Once home, I finally felt 'at home' for the first time in a while. I pop in to get their kimbaps which are cheap and good... not as good as KTown, if I'm being honest, but it gets the job done. They also have a ton of doshirak (Korean lunch sets) with different proteins to choose from. I've tried their banchan and they're delicious! I was walking back to my car from the grocery store when I stumbled upon this place. What initially caught my eye was the rolls. There was many choices or so it seemed and ranged from the typical California roll to those Korean rolls. I was tempted to get some rolls but there were no prices on them. Since I was intrigued by what else they had, I walked into the small side of the shop and stumbled upon this fried sweet chili chicken. I don't understand why the Deli is located outside the supermarket portion of the store, but here they are, selling their ready-to-eat stuff just outside the supermarket. They also have raw meat here, which confuses the heck out of me. But the reason you must visit this place is their ready-made Korean BBQ marinade. Just add these to your short ribs and voila! Food is the average price and fair because they tend to be like mildly lower quality than restaurants or better establishments though still very decent. Good surrounding environment with plenty of parking space and it feels safe. There is a security guard by the mall that barks at Asians though. It's really odd. Was excited to come here but disappointed. I came in at 5 pm and contrary to their marketing slogan "You Order, We Roll" there were just kimbaps premade sitting out on a counter for you to grab and go. I wanted to try the beef kimbap but they didn't have it so I asked to order it. The woman said that the less that 10 rolls on the counter which were egg, anchovies, spam, and fish cake rolls were the only ones left to buy and that I couldn't order anything else to be made and had to come back the next day. This was 3 hours before they closed so if you want kimbap make sure you come early. I ended up picking up some kimchi fried rice and salmon/ kimchi pancake. The kimchi fried rice was alright but very mushy and gloppy. The salmon and kimchi pancakes were both very very dry and I would definitely not recommend it. read more

To the left is a variety of korean food that is well marinated, hot or prepped to be cooked. This is a great place to go if u want korean food and it'll definitely save you money! I used to come here all the time for kimbaps to go! And today I found out they now have their own freshly hand made Kimbap roll station that just opened. I used to live in ktown and I love Kimbap, but now they have their own little station. Not only is their Kimbap wayy affordable, but they offer free sauces on the side, pretty cool. Today I was on my way to get my teeth x-rayed and the receptionist told us that the wait will be quite long. I didn't get to eat lunch so I was starving. I made my way into the market and there it was, my life and savior, How About Rolls? As a teenager who loves korean culture, I couldn't believe my eyes that there was a kimbap stand. I knew I had to try it out as soon as possible because I usually don't have to opportunity too. Can you believe that a roll is $4.34 with tax? That is unbelievably cheap and there's so much choices you can choose from, there are kimchi rolls, tuna rolls, spam rolls, and many more! Since I am a fellow kimchi lover, I got kimchi roll. The best part about the shop is that you are able to watch the cook put everything together, this means that everything is freshly made. It does take a while but let me tell you that is worth every second! There are also different types of sauce they have and I got the spicy mayo, it was amazing. Now to the best part, the actual kimchi roll. The best thing I have ever tasted in my whole entire life. It was amazing, every bite that I took, I just wanted more. In the square market there is something good and cheap. This place is called the square deli, that have many take outs suck as one of my favorite - teriyaki bowl. They cost $3.80 after tax. Which is very cheap and it doesn't taste bad. They have other take out as well, kimchi fried rice, beef bowl (doesn't appear often), and stir fry salmon. I moved to the area not to long ago and have become a regular here haha. It's great that you can pick up any of the side dishes you normally find at KBBQ. The have these mini salmon plates that are cooked and not saucey. The Gimbop options are plentiful, good tasting, and the price is hard to beat. If you get here after 4pm your options are generally limited. Lastly for just about a dollar and some change you can get a delicious boiled sweet corn on the cob. I like to be realistic when I write my reviews. I came here based on all the great yelp reviews but the food and service was just alright. Must have been an off day or the previous reviewers had to give a good review in order to get that free gimbap (prid pro quo). The gimbap was already premade and sitting on the stand. There was also no sauce even though it was clearly advertised on the banner that the rolls came with sauce. Either way I got the beef and it was a reasonable deal for $3.99. They had an aisle full of banchan so come here to get your kimchi, spicy cucumber, or fishcakes. There was also nothing outstanding about the customer service either but it's not like I'm complaining. The cashier seemed pretty new though because she kept looking back at the older Asian lady working there when people asked her questions. *shrug* Would I come here again? I've been wanting to try kimbap , I decided to check out yelp , They were the closest to my house and cheaper price and bigger portions .. I finally stopped by on 8/31/17.. Grabbed a few rolls and took them home .. I got home ate one and I was instantly sold , the veggies so crisp and fresh , meat so tender and well marinated , all ingredients were outstanding and super fresh , I saved some for my roommate he tried it and was instantly sold , he liked it so much we drove back out there so he can check out the shop 9/1/17, he looked around and was shocked that after all this time something so bomb and fresh and super close was there all along .. The owner recognized me from and was happy I brought one more costumer . As my roommate and I wait fr our California rolls to be made , he approached us and gave us a free order of original kimbap for no extra charge ..
