I have been eating at Kings for many years. Great cheeseburger subs and amazing NY style thin crust pizza. They pile the toppings on their pizzas and everything is priced fair. I really like the garlic knots as well. If you need to satisfy a pizza craving this is the place to go. read more

Wow... what an expensive hole in the wall! But for some some reason I've been there more than once. The pizza is good. I don't think anyone has been there for the atmosphere. There is a menu that looks like it was made in the 80's and almost all of the prices were marked out. I'm sure because they had to raise them over the years. I would have invested in a new menu. Still in Brunswick you have this place or dominos and sometimes you don't feel like dominos. All in all if you want something better than dominos that is about three times as much you have found it my friend! read more

My wife and I stop in Brunswick every once in a while and see what's new. After trying and liking the Potomac grill (the best restaurant by far in brunswick in our opinion), and already liking Beans in the Belfry, we thought we'd give this place a try since we've passed it several times (since it looked like a dump), but the reviews made it sound decent. Perhaps we just got them at a bad time, but the pizza was not the best. $14.10 for a medium size, that was thin and much more oily than usual pizzas was a let down. The place is a dump too, which always makes one wonder about the hygiene of the cooks and cleanliness of the cookware. And lastly, a place that makes you pay 50 cents for a cup of water, and an extra 25 cents for ice in that water has got issues. The staff were friendly at least. read more

Pizza is fantastic! If you're looking for an A+ in the restaurant dining experience I would go elsewhere, but if great pizza to take home to your family is what you're after this is the place. The lady behind the counter has a New York attitude, so what. The place looks like a hole in the wall, so what. The parking sucks, so what. Takes 45-1 hour to get your pizza, so what. Ordered large pizza with sausage (thin sliced not the crumble crap), green peppers, and mushrooms. There was not one bite that didn't have all three toppings! It's so good and priced the same as Andys in Lovettsville. It's worth the drive over the bridge and I highly recommend their pizza. For those of you giving low stars due to delivery issues, get your lazy but up and go get it. read more

Called and ordered a pizza and was told it would be almost one hour until ready. Showed up in one hour and the imbecile behind the counter told me she could not understand me and wrote my name down as "Scott". Didn't matter, Scott didn't have a pizza ready either. They quickly tried to throw together what I ordered and shoved it in the oven. I walked out and will never return. Yes, the pizza is good (Yeah, like Brunswick has a dozen other choices) and the garlic knots are great, but the aggravation of dealing with the woman behind the counter makes it not worthwhile. read more

Had another pizza there to go on Friday night. Called it in and a 45 minute wait, same guy making the pizza and still by far the best pizza in 25 miles, the crust is awesome. Don't come for the atmosphere, don't come to dine in, not the best with kids, or for the vino (there is none :-( ) just for a great NY style pizza, better take it to go and have a nice bottle of red from one of the 45 vineyards across the river in Loudoun County. Some folks commented on the lack of pasta, salad, and atmosphere, etc. and the closest place that has a great pizza, decent atmosphere, good salad, and BYOB is in Harper's Ferry, Mena's Pizza for a place to dine in (try the homemade meatballs there), salad if you are looking for that, and home made Italian deserts, etc. read more

Kings Pizza is awesome pizza if you're looking for thin crust pizza. My favorite, Italian style. On par with Zeno's Pizza in Marshalltown, Iowa. Five stars for the pizza, three stars for the facility. We've made the trip from Baltimore to Brunswick three times, just for the pizza, since we discovered it during a camping trip off the C&O trail. The place is essentially a hole in the wall, kind of place. We will be back, again and again. It's even very convenient from the main traffic circle in the town. Just a couple blocks. read more

The pizza is the best by far, but the owner is a ass and showed a complete lack of appreciation for my business. Her phone skills also suck. She never says bye or thank you. If you even try to explain your dissatisfaction she shuts you down, makes you out to be the problem or just flat out hangs up on you. Other than the asinine owner the pizza is great. read more

Well.....Kings used to be good.....But within the last 6 months of attempting to eat slop from this place, I am officially done trying. 1- The lady that seems to run the restaurant is particularly rude constantly, she seems to REALLY enjoy her job, sense the sarcasm? 2- They claim they have the best Garlic Knots....But lately, if they made them they have been extremely dried out and burnt.(Yes, there has been several times we have attempted to order them and they did not have them and had no intention or making them) 3- The pizza is horrifying, so much grease I could have probably drained it on the pavement and skated 4 blocks down to my residence instead of driving. 4- A sub was bought several months ago and the meat was GREEN/GRAY. And, to top it off, literally, was rotten onions. MMMM. Appetizing right? Upon calling Kings to report that issue, the same snippy lady (see #1) answered the phone and had the nerve to ask "What do ya want me to do about it" Heres the answer to that question, maybe clean your act up and *TRY* to not serve old rotten food to patrons. I know that's a hard thing to wrap ones mind around, but it truly isn't that difficult to accomplish. Kings has definitely lost this families business and respect!!! read more

There is no denying that the pizza at King's is, by far, the best pizza in our area. However, the past few times we've ordered, they have gotten the order wrong. The first time was a delivery. We ordered 3 pizzas but they only brought 2. They only charged me for 2, so I assume that the order was taken incorrectly. I called to let them know and was given the excuse that they "were really busy". No attempt to appease this customer was made. Yesterday I ordered 3 pizzas. The lady that runs the place is the one that took the order. When she repeated it back, she suggested we ordered 5 pizzas. I corrected her. She read it back...Again, it was wrong and I had to restate my order a third time. I'm imagining that someone who owns a pizza shop has heard "1 large pepperoni, 1 large sausage, 1 medium cheese" a thousand times. But it seemed to be a serious effort to get it right. I asked for a total on the order but she told me she couldn't give me one because she wasn't near the register... I've been in the place. You wouldn't be 20 steps from the register if you were standing in the Potomac River! When I went to pick up our order, I was given 3 pizzas. Upon returning home, we found 2 large pepperoni & 1 medium cheese. Wrong order...again. In the 2 times that the experience wasn't satisfactory, it wasn't the pizza that made us unhappy. I realize they are one of the few pizza shops around, but it's time for them to do the easy things the right way and keep their tiny customer base happy and off the YELP website writing negative reviews...The pizza is good, the quality is good. It suffers from poor ownership and a lack of attention to detail. read more
