Uh oh! I have found another restaurant that my body will crave and want to come back again and…read moreagain - the fluffy long, soft rolls and wonderful house salad served in a bowl, house made fresh pasta, and delicious cocktails. I really appreciated how far apart the tables are to allow for conversations you can hear and more space in the cold/flu season. I had a Chocolate Martini and my husband ordered a Lemondrop Martini (not on the menu) but was definitely good. The basket of the fluffy, soft, warm rolls were incredible and something I will come back for. I got the Mediterranean bruschetta special which came with feta, crabmeat, tomatoes, balsamic glaze and lots of other yummy things on four pieces of bruschetta. It was delicious. The shrimp scampi over the thin fresh noodles was a pleasure - really loved how big the shrimp were and the large helping of pasta. My husband got the lasagna which was good although they used some different cheeses which made it taste a little different but still good. Amanda our waitress was quick, pleasant, and took good care of us. Fratelli's is a Resy restaurant. Make reservations ahead of time, since on Saturdays even at 4:00 pm, all the reservations are already booked for the night. I have returned to Fratelli's for a work group lunch. Kendra was excellent, taking care of our large group with professionalism, efficiency, and a warm smile and manner. I got the !4" pizza which is a deep dish pizza - just perfect - not too buttery. I got sausage which had the long slices of sausage on it, not spicy. You can only eat one or two pieces out of the thick eight slices, the pizza is thick so expect to share or take it home for several more lunches.

While we have routinely enjoyed ourselves here before, our last visit was seriously soured with a very rude, entitled host. So much so that the manner in which he spoke to us actually made my wife extremely nervous. The manager knows who he is. We had a conversation with her about his rude comments & unacceptable behavior after which we ended up leaving. I don't see us ever returning unless the host has been released from his assignment there. It's unfortunate for the restaurant because we are not afraid to enjoy anything on the menu and we tip very well (I was a waiter once, too). What an unfortunate loss for the person who would have benefited from what would have been our time there. We ended up going to Manalu and had a really terrific experience there.

There was no warm welcome and we wait several minutes to even be serviced. Overall the food for the price we paid was abysmal. The lasagna looked grotesque with pasta slices slapped with ground beef and crushed tomatoes from a can with no salt, no garlic and no taste. The pizza I had ordered the crust wasnt even cooked all the way through. I ordered the beet salad and it was pathetic looking for $12. Our waitress seemed preoccupied with other tables and it seemed we were given poor service because we weren't locals or werent dressed in our Sunday best.. I would not recommend this place due to poor service and low quality food.

Today, I finally decided we had to try it out. So so glad we did because we were really impressed. The price is right, the portions are plentiful, and the quality was great. We started with some wine and Italian beer! We had the exact same brand in Venice. We ordered the mussel appetizer and it paired delightfully with my Sauvignon blanc. Our entrees were perfect. The vodka pasta was gone almost as fast as it hit the table and my husband loved his pizza. He asked for the burrata on top, just like we had it in Rome. The dessert was delish and the affogato was splendid! I cannot wait to return!

Then I opened the sandwich and it had 2 pieces of meat and 2 pieces of cheese, with a handful of arugula. This is not enough substance for the price. The meat and cheese needs to be at least double the portion to justify the price. The workers were very friendly and kind but I can't justify frequenting at that price point. $31 for a lunch that's mostly bread is just too much.

The meal started with some of the softest bread I've had in a long time. It was warm, fluffy, and perfect for dipping into the olive oil. We could have easily eaten an entire basket! My friend and I shared the filet mignon with whipped potatoes and asparagus. The steak was cooked beautifully, the potatoes practically melted in your mouth, and the asparagus spears were fresh and flavorful. We also split the seafood pasta, and the portion was enormous! Loaded with seafood and packed with flavor, it was just as impressive as the steak. My friend's bf got gluten free pasta-- they have gluten free options! My friend ordered an espresso martini, which was smooth, delicious, and the perfect complement to the meal. By the end of dinner, we were absolutely stuffed and couldn't even make room for dessert--which is probably the best sign of a satisfying meal. Great food, generous portions, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd gladly return!

There is a pretty good amount of street parking nearby. We were greeted and seasoned outside on their patio area. They have a nice bar and excellent wine selection. We tried the house Cabernet and it was excellent. The server immediately brought out some bread that was nice and fresh. The plate comes with olive oil, rosemary, and a whole garlic clove for flavor. I got the basic spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very good, tender, and flavorful. These are definitely made in house. My GF got the bolognese and let me tell you this was the star if the show. It comes with fresh made pasta (fettuccini I believe) and a great homemade sauce (you can see the carrots and other ingredients). It was exceptional and I would highly recommend. The service was okay, I believe our server had far too many tables and took about 20 minutes to cash out on a slower Wednesday dinner service. Everything else was great and we'll be sure to be back!

Incredibly nice and hospitable and provided excellent service. The inside is cute and quaint and you can tell this restaurant was a dream! The inside is small but gives a more intimate feel. The food was not great. The place has amazing reviews, so maybe we stumbled on the wrong food. They don't have a kids menu but have basic pastas for kids. We got ours a spaghetti and meatballs which was a large portion. The sauce tasted can like. I had the shrimp pesto. The sauce was more liquid than a thick creamy pesto, which I normally don't mind. The gnocchi was good but the sauce was heavily seasoned and not super delicious. The shrimp was a large portion and okay. My boyfriend had the lobster risotto. The actually risotto was good but the lobster was tough and overcooked. I only saw pasta selections and not a lot of appetizers. We had the fried Brie cheese which was pretty good. I really enjoyed the bread but had to ask for olive oil. They have a house made eggplant that I didn't care for. The prices were outrageous. Our dinner cost $150 with no alcohol. Overall would not come back, which makes me sad for the business :(

Oddest part was while we sat there - there was a 2 top table free almost the whole time we were eating. So - we could have easily been waited on in a normal setting. Nice place overall - different areas to sit, outside dining, etc etc. Service however was atrocious. It may be the fact they don't have enough people in the wait staff, but our waitress was as absent as it gets. Asked for a refill, took forever - after ordering appetizer it would have been good to then put in our entree order - but wasn't until the pizza came out 25 min later that we could do that. Asked for bread, she remembered after our entrees came out 45min after ordered - 4 small cubes. You would think when you're struggling at waiting on a table, you'd try and make up for it. Pizza was good. We got a Margherita pizza - standard and fresh as we watched them make it. For my entree I got the penne vodka and added a meatball. Lol. No sauce on that meatball and it was cold. Flavor was good on entree. The next time the waitress came back I begged for the check - to which we paid and got out of there as "quick" as we could. Food 4/5 Service 1/5
