There aren't many top-rated restaurants in Harpers Ferry, and Isabelle's isn't rated well either. However, we enjoyed their pizza for our family while visiting the water park nearby. Inside an old train, the small cheese pizza satisfied our daughter and her friend. It comes with four slices. Their version of Hawaiian pizza was actually really good too! I've had better pizza and I've had worse pizza! They were super crowded on a Saturday afternoon and still had our pizza ready in about 15 minutes, which is great. Only negative is the pizza wasn't super flavorful and the 10 inch was a little small for the price. read more

Wow, perhaps the worst food experience I have ever had. $14 very mediocre and burnt BLT plus a few add-ons, x2 ppl; and $40 later, I exited the restaurant smelling like a frier. Seriously, the owner needs to taste hiser own food. Also, surfaces could use a wipe down (especially the toilets whose doors are dark with crud). We were hungry for some good pizza and stumbled upon this little gem. We were going to eat inside. However, it was VERY HOT! I asked if they had AC, and the girl said it was just fixed. So we decided to get a small pizza to go for $12.95. We decided to go with the Kramer, which was ham, bacon, pineapple, mozzarella cheese, house sauce, and drizzle of sweet chili sauce. The pizza didn't take long to make maybe 15 mins. It was the perfect size for me and my boyfriend to share. Did i say it was DELICIOUS!!!! only one waitress at prime lunch time, no refills, took an order of someone that was just standing at the door and walked in after us before she came to the table. Chicken parm sub was 2 chicken tenders with tomato sauce on a bun, would not reccomend. Pizza was as thin as could be, no crust, and so greasy the entire pizza was orange. the place was filthy inside, spider webs on our booth, the salt shaker was so gross I wouldn't even use it. Great location and cool theming, kitchen is in an old rail car and it's right across from the train tracks. Inside is much larger than you would think from the outside plus they have a very nice patio area for outdoor dining. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was very clean. Nice beer selection. Food was very good. One of the few places open past 6/7 pm so that's a plus if you're staying down in the historic section of town since most places close early. Looking forward to coming back when we are visiting again. read more

I have nothing good to say about this place. We sat down and waited 10 minutes for our drinks and over 20 min for the food after being served the wrong food and asked to clarify our orders. The sodas were flat the pizza was burnt at the bottom. It taste like cardboard, extremely dry, barely any sauce lots of oil on top. The onion rings were hard. The fries were horrible. Really cute place! Staff was attentive and I felt comfortable in here. I appreciated the local cider on tap. The fries were seasoned very well and honestly better than I expected. I enjoyed the arancini and my partner enjoyed his buffalo wrap. The chicken tenders were the standard kind you've probably had many times before, nothing special. Overall though I really enjoyed my experience here and thought that it was a wonderful place to unwind after exploring Harper's Ferry! The price was very reasonable as well. read more

I ordered the Ham-Nah. it specifically said a Ham Stak. Welk when my food came out it was three paper thin pieces of deli ham. then I was charged extra for sausage without my acknowledgment. The onion rings were burnt. I complained and said that my breakfast was not worth $13 due to false advertisement about the so-called hamsteak. I had 2 bites and the insisted on only giving me $1.20 discount. I highly recommend updating the menu to say paper thin slices of deli meat, not ham steak. They should of closed. We we're finally greeted by a young lady in sweat pants and told they were short staffed and there was a 60 minute wait. We decided to stay and was later greeted by another staff member. This time we were told there was a 30 minute wait. It was mid afternoon and it appeared to be a shift change. We were told to just have a seat anywhere. During our visit the place wasn't busy at all. Maybe 3-4 tables with diners. We ordered a chicken salad, steak and cheese sub, onion rings and beverages. When we ask for straws the server looked for 10 minutes then came back empty handed. We noticed several of the staff looking for straws. She did come back an apologized. They were out of straws. We later noticed three boxes on a shelf on the wall in the dinning room. While we were eating a family came in. They were seated after being told there was a 60 minute wait they eventually left, unserved. The entire time we were there, the table next to us was dirty. Servers carried food out could of easily grabbed the few items off the table on their way back to the kitchen. The napkin dispensers were missing on most tables and most of those were not filled. The staff is unsupervised, poorly trained, unproductive and disorganized. Bottom line, the food was good. read more

Yikes. I don't want to say anything too bad about any of the businesses in this gorgeous town but I can not recommend this place. I've been twice. The first time was average. The second time was just not good. Today the sweet tea tasted old, like it was left uncovered or made with stale water. The plain cheese pizza was way too salty. I've never experienced a salty pizza in my life. It was also soggy. The salad was not fresh and that's putting it kindly. I'm pretty sure I saw mold on the cherry tomatoes. The crispy chicken on the salad somehow seemed old, like leftover chicken tenders possibly. My pizza and tender loving 5 year old was even unimpressed and barely touched her food. The waiter was attentive and I really appreciate it, but I don't like when you can hear people socializing in the kitchen area, including off duty employees. Girls just walking in and out of kitchen like it's a house party. Not sanitary. I don't feel great about having nothing nice to say about a small business but this was an awful experience and a waste of money. I actually only went because my favorite restaurant in town was closed. Next time i'll be happy with my trail mix and go cook at home. read more

Constructive feedback, nothing personal or cutting, hopefully it will help improve the experience. Pizza crust seems to be a low-yeast Pillsbury dough variant. No flavor, no rise. Cheese was splitting and greasy, perhaps a quality issue. Way too many onions, black olives and green bell peppers causing the supreme-style pizza to become very watery. Fry oil may not have been hot enough causing onion rings to be very greasy. Onions rings had no flavor, recommend seasoning the batter and or soaking onions in buttermilk overnight. Grilled chicken on the salad was extremely over-cooked and dry. Wait staff was friendly, but food quality needs an overhaul if this is the norm.
