It's kind of weird to review a buffet since when you go in you already know your giving up quality for quantity. So is that quantity edible? Generally, but it's just grease and everything generally tastes kind of similar. Not the best sign, but it is a buffet so you have to be kind of ignorant to not understand this going in. The sushi is awful and I don't trust it. Neither should you. The customer service can be summed up by the fact that you pay before you eat. Generally if they already have your money than there's no incentive to care. The place also gives off a kind of dirty vibe. Really great buffet! Much better than most others! The Sunday Crab legs and oysters were fresh and very tasty. The grill chefs were quite good at what they were doing. The sushi items left a bit to be desired; somewhat limited selection. Blue Bunny ice cream was nice! Service staff were all very friendly and efficient. Very nicely done! read more

If you ever want to miss work or any other important event, due to food poisoning, then this place is just for you! Ate there yesterday and I've been throwing up since about 3 am. I noticed several things that were off but after telling the staff that the cream filled pastries had a sour taste and was starting to CURDLE they STILL LEFT IT OUT for other customers to eat, I came to the conclusion that I will NEVER go back. I'll let everyone I know that this "restaurant" has serious issues when it comes to putting out fresh food, cross contamination and keeping foods (such as meats and veggies) at a proper temp. No STRONG reason to go here anymore? There is NO reason to go here anymore. Our whole family (aunts uncles, grammas cousins, kids etc) used to go here about once a month because the prices were reasonable and the food was pretty decent and it could accomodate a large group fairly easily. There was never much cleanliness or customer service in the place, but we overlooked that in order to have the "all you can eat" experience with the decent seafood and a few other okay dishes. My husband and I went there yesterday afternoon after having not been for months. We wish we would have went somewhere else. The food was AWFUL! The chicken (?) on the skewers were tough and flavorless. The fried shrimp was flavorless and overcooked. The broccoli dish had veggies that were way past their freshness, and also flavorless. The egg drop soup was full of some kind of sugary filler, way to thick. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. The food was BADDD!!! If that wasn't enough, the people who work there act like they could care less about service or cleanliness. There were tables scattered thoughout the place with stacks of dishes that needed bussing and one worker was out refilling the soy sauce bottles.The dishes sat there the whole time we were there. Another was sitting at the register filling his face while not taking money from incoming customers, while one of their kids danced around seeming very bored. Then a girl sat down at the little table they have there and put her head on the table as if going to sleep. How this place passes health inspections is a mystery. They've never been very big in the cleanliness department, but now its even worse. The floors and dirty. You have to be careful to get a clean place and clean "silverware". The plastic cups for soda and water all had water on them like they'd just been washed. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Save your money and go someplace else. This place has terrible food and terrible customer service and the whole place needs a very good cleaning. read more

This place is a hit or miss for me, depending on what foods they have offered at the time. I've been here a couple times, and it was just okay the first few times, but I went again yesterday and they had fried chicken wings available that I either noticed for the first time or is a newly added item. Those wings were good. I happily made a meal out of them. Another new (or unnoticed) item was fresh shrimp spring rolls that they put out in the dessert station for some reason. That was good, too. And they put out hoisin sauce! Sweet chili sauce or peanut sauce is the more appropriate accompaniment for spring rolls, but I'll take what I can get. A few other things like the honey chicken, pork dumpling (shu mai), chicken dumpling (wonton), and stirfried shrimp rounded out my meal. I wish they offered more healthy things though, like fresh vegetables. Almost everything here is greasy and heavy, with nothing light to balance it out. The only veggies I saw were stir fried Chinese greens, corn on the cob, and sliced tomatoes (in the dessert station next to sliced fresh fruit). Food was on point. I love the food, BUT the cashier was didnt even greated me hello or welcome when i gave my card she just left my receipt on the front without saying anything. As soon as i walked out she told me hey your not done here. Worst costumer service ever. A way to make a costumer feel unwelcome. It shows that she doesnt like her job. The food is ok and there are more choices added to the buffet.The place is a little bigger since the remodel so there is more seating which isabl a good thing. But some of the table bussers could do a better job at bussing the tables in their area. read more

You get a crap ton of food to choose from IMO and they have a wide variety to pick from too. From crab legs to sushi to make your own Mongolian BBQ. My kids love the real ice cream bar and they also love that they can get slushies for their beverage. read more

When I think about barfing I go here and yes I will go here if it's someone's birthday and They Really Want to Go!! It has this kind of flavor I cannot describe like it might be loaded with MSG. and grease. One time I heard my brother went here and went kind of crazy eating up a lot of food, must have been hungry. Then he hi tails it to the bathroom to barf it all back up. Neither I or him will willingly go here on our own devices. Just can't get the picture out of my head every time I open up there steamy doors filled with people all the time. One of the best buffets in the area! The drink is included in the price and the food is endless. They have a great seafood selection, all the traditional American Chinese foods (fried rice, chow mein, sesame chicken, general Tso chicken, orange chicken, teriyaki and white rice, etc), and kid friendly options. Came here today with a couple family members and were just upset by the whole thing. I remember King's wok years ago before they went through the management change and it literally is just gone. The people who used to work at the old kings wok took the business with them because this place is just out right bad. The old King's wok was very cultured and had a nice Chinese background to it. This "new Kings wok" is like a weird outer space cafeteria. It's cold and the staff isn't as friendly as they used to be. Actually that lady at the front wearing a green tshirt was just rude. All she cared about was her phone it was so annoying. My uncle dropped his silverware on the ground and went to her to retrieve some more but she was talking on the phone and instead of exchanging him more silverware she gave him a dirty look. The food was bad. Don't let the steam coming from the food fool you. I grabbed pretty much every dish you could to try what they had and was shocked at how cold everything was. I wanted to throw up as I put this cold food in my mouth. The only good thing about this place is the guy at the grill. He was very nice. And the busser was nice too. But yeah. This place has gone down hill from the last time I was here. Maybe one day they will fix it. Maybe one day they'll just close down. Idk that's up to the staff and management. read more

I have been here many times with my wife and son and have yet to have a bad meal. I stay away from the sushi as there is no imagination and it looks as they are trying to cut costs, but the vegetables are always good, they have a white fish that is always tender and flavorful. This place is beyond a rip off! First off it's a seafood Sunday menu and they barely have any seafood aside from the overcooked anorexic crab legs. They don't offer discount for people allergic to seafood and did not have any high chairs available for my granddaughter. The dinner experience was the worst. I felt like a hog in the chow line of a slaughter house. For the 100.00 it cost for my family to done I would have at least expected a pleasant dinning experience. I just moved here from Honolulu, and needed a chinese buffet restaurant to eat dinner. $11.99 for dinner is a really good price. Crab legs and claws were on the buffet, along with a lot of varieties of shrimp was good. The food was good, but it wasn't great. I think I'm spoiled by really really good buffets in Honolulu (Tsukiji's Fish Market or Makino Chaya). After several years trying various asian buffets across western washington I have to say king wok is by far the best in terms of price and taste (Todai in downtown Seattle is probably the best in terms of quality of food).
