Stay very far away from this company. The coolers are very cheaply made and haven't worked well since day 1. It's been over a year and I have gone back and forth with them for months. They simply refuse to do anything to fix the situation. I am still left with two high priced garbage items that haven't worked well since day 1. Very disappointed with this refridgerator. I purchased an under the counter beverage cooler. The literature states that the unit maintains constant temperature. This couldn't be further from the truth. Setting the fridge at 38 degrees the temperature according to the thermometer constantly travels from 37 degrees to 43 degrees. When I called customer service I received product literature that states that the compressor will cool to the set temp. 38 degrees. Then the compressor shuts off but the fan continues to run which lowers the temp to 37 degrees. Then the fan shuts off and the temp slowly rises to 5 degrees above the set temp which is 43 degrees. So the unit temperature constantly travels from 37 degrees to 43 degrees and is actually over 38 degrees more than it is equal to or below 38 degrees. How they consider this maintaining a constant temp is beyond me. Secondly the literature states that it is equipped with a quiet compressor. Put this under the counter and you will find this is just not a quiet unit. I purchased a mat to put underneath to lessen the noise and that barely made a difference. When I open my home refrigerator the temp always reads the same thing. This under the counter does not. This fridge is located in my kitchen which is next to my family room, so I constantly hear the compressor and get mad every time I see the temp at anything but 38. I paid a premium price for this fridge and since it works the way it is supposed to I guess I have to live with it. But I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Take you chances with a cheaper unit. On the positive side it is a solid nice looking unit. read more

Absolutely unacceptable product quality and customer service. I purchased this unit three years ago. KingsBottle offers only a 2-year warranty unless you pay extra for an extended one. Predictably, the unit broke down just after the standard warranty expired. Despite being out of warranty, I was willing to pay for repairs and used a service provider recommended by KingsBottle. Hundreds of dollars later--between service visits and replacement parts--the unit still doesn't work. To make matters worse, the service provider they recommended attempted to grossly overcharge for parts. One example: they tried to bill us over $100 for a part that costs $6 (not including labor). And that part didn't even solve the issue. When we contacted KingsBottle again, their response was essentially: buy a new unit. That's their solution--for a $3,500 product that barely lasted two years. KingsBottle clearly does not stand by the quality of their products, and they offer zero support once the warranty ends--even if you're willing to pay for service. Between the poor product longevity, predatory repair recommendations, and complete lack of accountability, this company has shown they are not interested in long-term customer satisfaction. I'll be taking my business elsewhere--and I strongly recommend others do the same. read more

So wish I had a better experience after a few years of owning, but we've now had all 3 fridges we purchased come down with issues. 1 was under warranty and covered by Kingsbottle, but the other 2 we've had to pay ~$500 each to fix. On top of that, the brand is too small to be well supported by technicians so it's really hard to find anyone in South OC that can service these. The icing on the cake is that our wine fridge needed a second repair less than 2 years after the first, which was also not covered under warranty. I had high hopes for these pretty little fridges but my lesson is learned. Next time we're going with something more mainstream and well supported by a larger company and service technician network. read more

I would never reccomend purchasing anything from this brand, I am an appliance tech of 15 years and the wine coolers are very cheaply made and way overpriced product, we tried repairing a kings bottle appliance for a customer that has a kings bottle wine cooler and it was out of warranty so we ordered a part from kings bottle to fix the issue for our customer and during install we noticed the part kings bottle shipped us was not the correct part for this appliance, we tried asking them to ship us the correct part or refund us our money we spent on the part for months and they completely ignore us and dont call us back after many many left voicemails, horrible service, so on top of ripped us off selling us the wrong part for their own product that we cant get, waisting ours and their own customers time we ended up refunded the customer has a non working wine cooler that paid for the repair. Kings bottle never even made an attempt to fix their mistake, just excuses, stay far far away from this brand, they will be happy to take your money but once the cheaply made appliance breaks and it will you will be out of luck! one of the worst companys ive ever delt with. read more

My first shipment of the dualzone 30" dual fridge was broken on arrival after going thru the troubleshooting steps on their site. So, I sent the back the results and Jack (service guy) responded with some additional steps. However, the finding was that a snapped tube which appeared an oil pipe feeding into the compressor. I purchased the 39" Beer/wine combo cooler and it was slightly damaged upon arrival from shipping company (cosmetic wise). I reported it to Kings Bottle and were kind enough to give me a $100 credited refund for the damage that occurred. I had the cooler for about 4 months when the cooling fan went out. I contacted the company and they quickly sent another replacement that I was easily able to change myself for free under warranty. Fast forward another year later and the cooler stopped cooling due to presumably refrigerant leak (icing up/patina) on the cooper lines. After a thorough inspection and troubleshooting, Kings bottle replaced my unit for free under the 2 year warranty. Overall the cooler works great, when all things are working. The service is outstanding and there are resources online for diagnosing problems as well as how-to guides on how to repair/replace components if you have a little mechanical knowledge. Overall I am satisfied with the product and support available. read more

Overall I'm pleased with the 100 bottle, single temp wine cooler I purchased. The shipping times were continually pushed back and it took months before I received it, but overall, it's a good product. There is more noise than other, smaller units I've owned in the past, but that is to be expected. My primary gripe is simply the lack of space between racks. You can expect most Pinot and other larger bottles to have their labels scraped/rubbed off after a few times of sliding the racks in and out. I would have gladly given up an extra rack to have more space for them to slide without damage. read more

I bought a very expensive wine cooler from Kingsbottle at the beginning of June this year. It worked fine for 5 weeks then it started to heat the contents rather than cool. I contacted Kingsbottle customer service who made me got through a whole process of switching it off then turning on and noting down various temperatures over an hour. The results were that it was indeed heating and the temp got up to 82 degrees. I sent the findings of my diagnostic check and was told that they had to be "analysed". After 5 days I rang customer "service" and they agreed that there was a fault and they needed to send out an engineer. After my call they contacted Mr Appliance, a third party company to set up a date. After waiting a week for either company to call, I decided to ring Kingsbottle again and was told that they would chase and let me know that day. No phone call back from them so I sent an email to ask for a refund, this was ignored. I called them today to request they remove the fridge and give me a refund and I was told that they would speak to the supervisor,Dina,and call me back. I waited 6 hours and no call so I called again only to be told that Dina was on vacation and no one else can decide on a refund so I had to wait until she's back. I understand that things can go wrong and I accepted that an engineer would be called out, but having a bad product and even worse customer service is not a good combination and I would avoid dealing with this company at all costs read more

I couldn't say enough about my new Kingsbottle 170 single zone wine cooler. I've had it for about four weeks and couldn't be happier with it. It's aesthetically elegant and keeps a temperature in close range with where I've set it (59 degrees). At first, I wasn't clear on how to adjust the thermostat from the factory setting but after calling customer support Desiree escalated the question and it was resolved immediately with an exchange of videos. I purchased a KingsBottle Beer/Wine Cooler KBU-28LR-SS and have had non-stop issues with the cooler and the customer service has been horrible. I am NOT a picky consumer, but my experience with the quality of the unit and horrible customer service, I wanted to share my experiences with anyone considering buying KingsBottle. The first unit I purchased stopped working after 6 months. After fighting customer service on the warranty, they finally sent me a replacement. I had to do all the work myself, repackaging the return unit which is no small feat considering the size of the unit. Then the replacement unit worked 3 years until completely failing. I once again contacted customer service ??? absolutely no reply. I will have to tackle the repairs on my own and take on full cost of repairs ??? no support from KingsBottle. Like most, we did our due diligence before our purchase and prioritized low noise and suitability for our needs (2 temperature zone). Purchased the 30" Under Counter Wine/Beer Cooler and couldn't be more pleased and impressed. It is very quiet and is only 6' away from our seating area. We have had the cooler for 8 weeks, it has performed just as it should, the light does stay on for 5 minutes after activation, it does cool down on start up much faster if empty, does require the 24+ hours to settle before start up and is very attractive. The only possible negative we experienced was delivery. The unit was delivered by a large/semi trailer truck which is prohibited on our street. My husband and the driver figured out a work around but it involved him driving to the semi with his pick up and offloading onto his truck and then we had to figure out how to get it out of the truck bed. We did not contract for white glove delivery-only street/driveway delivery. But for the delivery inconvenience we are thrilled with our selection and the cooler!! read more
