    My window is shattered!

Have always loved this place but the fact cars are getting broken into ever night in their parking lot really ruins the whole experience. Mine and 4 other cars were broken into with completely shattered windows last night. There's no cameras or anything on the lot.

One of the OGs on the block! They always have something fun going on and the place has plenty of indoor and outdoor space. I'm a big fan of hitting them up for happy hour and a late afternoon espresso martini

This place is really great for bringing some friends and enjoying the day. I came for day time drinks and they offered some food truck options. I could imagine coming on a game day/fight day night, really fun and lively.

Service is great, vibes are SO CUTE SO GREEN I love it! Definitely recommend coming here with friends so many nice places to hang out. Big screens but also cute tables off in the sides just a lot of space. Kyrsten (super sweet server) is amazing !! Definitely would recommend!

Went today for the 7th annual Crawfish Kickoff festival with a group of friends. Bar is open to customers age 23+ only. Vibe: nice and relaxed place to hang out. Had many forms of seating - couches, tables and benches, and even a swing set. Was cooler today but had a good number of heaters spread throughout the patio area. Had a more covered "indoor" space as well. Even though it was busy, didn't see a bunch of people waiting for tables for long. Music (both live band and piped in) were pretty loud on the patio and at times interfered with conversation. Drinks: okay, but definitely nothing special. Pretty standard bar beverages - bottled beers and some margaritas that tasted more of the sour mix than any liquor. Food: had Southern Standard Catering boiling crawfish. Weren't particularly well seasoned. Only food regularly available is a food truck stationed in the back (el guajillo). Queso was not great, pretty bland and tasted like just melted yellow cheese. Guacamole was definitely fresh but lacked salt and other seasonings. Highlight of the food was the pork street tacos (5 for $12) which were spicy and well seasoned, with the included salsa verde adding an acidic balance to the tacos. Ordering and payment: can order at the bar or with waitresses walking around. Recommend starting a tab. Cashless payments only. Overall - a great place to spend a weekend afternoon hanging out or watching a game with a group of friends. The drinks and food definitely suffice but aren't the best in the heights. Would definitely come back for the patio, not necessarily anything that I ate or drank today.

The place was pretty empty when we arrived with there being a small party at a table. Notables there were dirty plates left on a table for quite a bit. The bar tender was very friendly and makes a heck of a drink but as the evening progressed and more people arrived at the Cafe the service became extremely slowwww. This is also why tables weren't cleaned quickly. There needs to be atleast 2 personnel there. Now as stated the bevs were great and they had a lot of unique cocktails I'd like to try but I didn't want to have to wait all night so we left! Will I be back though?? Absolutely!

Reviews stated that they offer $10 Carajillos starting at 10pm and both Yelp and Google Maps showed them open until midnight. We showed up just a couple of minutes past 10pm to find active construction underway inside. There was a gentleman working on the flooring, furniture being disassembled and lots of construction equipment outside. The seeming owner or manager reassured us to come in, however as soon as we took a seat we learned that they closed at 10pm. Ironically there was a young man assembling a large sign that states "open until 10pm" to prop outside. The bartender offered to make us a drink and since we had driven here just for this spot (I would call it a coffee shop and not really a bar), we agreed. The Carajillos were $15 and sadly, batched. Disappointing for a cocktail with only about two ingredients. We asked if they could add an orange peel garnish but unfortunately they were out. Definitely a one and done. Will not be back.

It's located right at 19th St. and Shepherd near the light. There's a small angled parking lot that can be tight when people park along the fence. It looks like a cute tiny A-frame home with a few patio tables in the front. The inner area has about 6-7 high tables. It's nice and clean inside. The vibe feels similar to H-Town Brewing Co. but on a smaller scale. You can also sit at the bar. I didn't really like the high tables/chairs. They're not as comfortable. It was hot out, and there are mosquitos, so we sat inside. I ordered the salmon plate for steak night. The drinks here are ok, and since I don't really drink, I was looking for mocktail options. In this era, most places have mocktail options with brand alternatives like Ritual, Seedlip and Lyre's or at the least, something with juice, Topo Chico and simple syrup. The female bartender made me a NA margarita which was great. I liked that she didn't make it too sweet or too tart which happens with mocktails that don't have alternatives and are mostly juice or lemon. On the other hand, when I ordered a second, the guy bartender made it too sweet. I didn't like his version. For the alcoholic versions, they seem to have good cocktails, wine, beer and flights. They also have daily specials. Aside from the steak night, they don't serve food here. It wouldn't be my first choice of bars in this area.

The drinks weren't bad and I think they have a nice selection of cocktails to choose from. The rundown for bingo: It was supposed to start at 7pm, but I don't think we started until almost 7:30. Not sure if that's normal or if it was just that night. They'll make an announcement for you to go grab a bingo board from designated spots and it was quite a fight to get a board, which is one per person. I think we played a total of 5-6 rounds with breaks in between and each round is a different goal (e.g. regular bingo, making an X, blackout, etc) with a different prize and the prizes gradually get bigger. Since the tables were all full, lots of people were either sitting around the stage, or on the turf, or standing on the back patio. Parking was super crowded. They have a lot which was definitely filled so I had to resort to street/neighborhood parking. They made announcements that if you park at the establishment next door you WILL get towed (they had tow trucks coming in the whole night I feel)

The restrooms also follow suite. To me, this indicates how efficient they operate. We got there 2-3 hours early, ordered drinks and ordered food from the food trucks. The taco truck's street tacos were so good, but it was a 40-45 minute wait that day...and it was SO HOT out. You get a buzzer, so there's no point in waiting by the truck. Might be quicker on other regular days, though. The burger food truck was quicker, but I wasn't in the mood for it. There's a variety of seating for whatever you prefer - picnic table, iron table, bar table, and cushioned patio lounge chairs. The servers checked in often and brought the drinks out.
