I had a terrible experience at Cedar Creek. After having a couple of drinks as a paying customer, I came outside to find my car had been towed from their lot. It cost me $315 to get it back, and the tow left my car damaged -- which I have documented and have a current case with police over this. While sorting this out, I was even told by someone that the restaurant has connections with the towing company, which, if true, makes the situation even worse. This whole strip is known for towing, and Cedar Creek doesn't do anything to protect or warn its guests. What should have been a fun night turned into an expensive and frustrating ordeal. The key to enjoying Cedar Creek is to find parking early and bring / meet a bunch of friends to enjoy the open seating and rowdy environment. Service and crummy bathrooms will always be the sore spot, but as long as it's understood right away, this can be a pretty good venue to enjoy a few drinks and a few bites. Good weather is also key. The patio is vast with drunkards and dbaggery, but the good news is that it's so large that there are plenty of places to park a group. The drinks are always flowing with multiple indoor / outdoor bars with the latter being a bit limited on selection. If I need something simple like a beer, a shot, or a frozen drink, I can get what I want outside. If I need anything more complicated than this, then it's an inside (bar) job. The weekends, especially game days can make this place a cluster. The parking is one of the bigger challenges and the picnic tables can be a little gross at times, depending on who was sitting there previously. Always shoot for their happy hour, which on days like Mondays, is all day. The food can be a gamble, but if intoxicated all the burgers, nachos, fries, wings and frito pies will taste wonderful. To avoid any potential disappointment, I'd recommend knocking a few back before diving face first into any of the food. read more

The overwhelming positive about the place is the staff. They do all they can to ensure every patron has a great experience. From the bartenders to the bus staff they are pulling in the same direction. Food is good, can't complain. Was very happy with Brussels sprouts although they could have did with less balsamic. The burger was good as well, the sweet potato fries are perfection. Drinks are inconsistent based on who the bartender is, best to try them all and stick to the individual that shares your same idea of what a good drink is at the end of the day. The biggest problem here is the abundance of flies in the establishment. I kept looking for Sally Struthers to appear like this was a "Feed the Children" ad. Cedar Creek Bar & Grill manages to combine awful service, questionable practices, and basic cleanliness issues into one thoroughly unpleasant experience. The biggest red flag? Patron vehicles being towed under circumstances that appear predatory and poorly communicated. Multiple customers--including myself--were blindsided by towing while actively patronizing the business. There was little to no clear signage, no warning, and zero accountability from staff. Whether or not it technically skirts the law, it feels deceptive and hostile to customers. Inside, things don't improve. Service is painfully slow and indifferent, as if the staff would rather you weren't there at all. Orders are forgotten, drinks sit empty, and requests are met with eye rolls instead of help. You get the strong sense that customer service simply isn't a priority. Then there's the cleanliness--or lack of it. Sticky tables, dirty floors, and restrooms that look like they've been neglected for far too long. It's hard to enjoy food or drinks when you're questioning how often anything gets cleaned. Between the towing fiasco, the poor service, and the grimy environment, Cedar Creek Bar & Grill feels less like a neighborhood hangout and more like a trap for unsuspecting patrons. The walk up service was alright, I assumed you could sit and order. No biggie, but the frozen peach seasonal drink tasted less like peach and just a standard margarita with a hint of peach puree, even the color was yellowish and not the 'standard' orange color one may typically find in peach drinks. Granted color and flavor do not have to match but the flavor was not as "peachy" to me. If I had a few frozen drinks in a line up I wouldn't know how to pick out the peach one. It's always a good time to the Monday steak special and $1 wing special is my favorite. The wings are so crunchy. Steak is always cooked perfectly. The bartenders are quick. Plenty of inside seating with a lot of tvs. The outside is cool with many tables, good scenery, dog friendly (they even have dog items on the menu). It's a chill spot, good for grabbing a drink and watching the game or catching up with friends. There are couches inside too for cozy seating. Food comes out fast. Normal prices. Everybody that works here is decently nice. Also there's a lot of area to run around if you have kids. Also having a toddler, it can be quite the place when it's laden with kids pouring rocks in their shoes and over their bodies. Also dumping rocks into the "creek" using the ashtray holders was there. The water is dangerously close and someone could fall in so watch your kids. Creek is obviously man built, but it exists. A good place for a cold beer. Had some crawfish and Brussels sprouts. Got there at 530 and the lady said they were out of sausage for the crawfish. Sad day. Brussels were okay. I didn't expect much so about average and maybe a little under on the food. Stopped by yesterday for lunch, the vibe is very chill. You have to order your food and drinks at the bar but there is seating inside and outside. We sat outside had a few drinks, I had the Crispy Tacos, and my partner had the Frito Pie very delicious. For dessert the Brownie and the Churros a must try if you like a few sweets. Every time I've driven by Cedar Creek, I always comment on how nice it looks with their outdoor lights and finally decided to stop in with my friend. As the weather wasn't great when we stopped, we sat inside which was decorated for halloween with lights and witches hats all over the sealing - loved it! You have to order at the bar so we made our way there. I asked about a couple of the cocktails and the bartender didn't sound to confident on them being a good choice so we kept it simple and decided to start with two beers (two different beers) and some frickles (fried pickles). As the menu looked great, we planned to order dinner as well but figured we'd start with the app and order the meals later. We sat down at a small little table with our beers and waited for the frickles order. As soon as we took a sip of our beers, we both commented on how flat the beer was. With them being different beers... that wasn't a great start. After that, the frickles came and I was disappointed as they were heavy on the breading and not great. The frickles were definitely edible and "good" but not a menu item I'd recommend or order again. With the beers being flat and the frickels being meh, we decided to close out and eat dinner elsewhere. read more

You come here, get your turkey sandwich and it's decent. The bread is fresh, turkey isn't dry, it's just fine. The beer is cold. You close out, walk out to your car, and then it hits you: this place isn't done extracting money from your bank. Their parking lot is a trap and it's under constant watch. Sometimes a wrecker is near by, sometimes it's a guy hanging out in his car that gives the word. The signage is low and obscured so car after car gets towed before the customer gets their first drink. They get a cut for every car towed.
