Found myself heading to Frankfort for a comedy show and a search got me looking at Kismet. Their Italian beef hot dipped was amazing. So much flavor and the heat is hot. Thinly sliced and moist. Really enjoyed the onion rings, cooked to perfection. Bread had a good chew and held together. A bit chilly inside but I was only one dining in. Everything was spick and span and staff were friendly. Great special meal deals too.

Long time local resident and it's our favorite "fast" food. Usually call the order in and pick up is fast and easy! The Greek salad is our go-to, always fresh and large for some leftovers the next day! Gyros are fresh and always willing to add some extra yummy sauce. The menu is pretty large so be sure to check it all out.

Came from CA to visit a friend and she took us to Kismet. Awesome food. I'm vegetarian and they had great variety for me. I had a salad, fried zucchini, and fries. Everything was delicious! I also tried their cheddar broccoli soup and loved everything! Their prices are great and portions big. I highly recommend.

Best burger I've had in the area. Best fried chicken sandwich I've had in the area. Fries are simple, but perfect. I'll be back.

Are you kidding me, I had the italian beef sandwich, fabulous. Soft bread with tender meat. Best yet.

But I had to see what the hype around Gene & Jude's was all about. I caught them at a great time with a short line. Their menu is delightfully simple and typical classic Chicago style with minimalist topping choices (mustard, relish, onion, sport peppers) so ordering was a breeze. A single dog with fries and a medium drink came out to about $9. While waiting, I loved watching their team work like a well-oiled machine behind the counter. Fresh hand-cut potatoes were dropping into the fryer, and the assembly crew was constantly building dogs and piling massive heaps of steaming fries on top. High output, fantastic energy! I even asked one of the prep guys if I could snap a picture, and he was super cool about it. The meal itself was awesome. The fries were piping hot, perfectly salted, and very generous in portion. Once I dug down to the dog, that first bite took me by complete surprise, the snap of the natural casing and the flavor were incredible. Before I knew it, I was clearing the paper wrapper and completely understanding why people order double dogs or multiple single dogs. Be warned it will have your back talking to you too. Lol! Highly recommended legend!

Ordered from the machine and got the famous meal with two hot dos with everything on it. I also ordered the rigatoni à la vodka and we got some drinks and of course the chocolate cake. It's like a big food hall and you'll wait to get your order called to pick up your food. Utensils and condiments are in the stations so you'll have to get it yourself. Overall we enjoyed the food and experience. The hotdogs are good and my son finished 2 - I tried a few bites but I also loved my pasta - huge service for the price and I get to share it with my son as well. The chocolate cake is not too sweet but really decadent. Must try if you're visiting and staying in the River North area.

We live just a mile away from Superdawg and just went here with our 4-year-old son, who calls it "hot dogs on the roof." Whenever I'm hungry for a Chicago dog and delicious fries, I immediately head to Superdawg to satisfy my craving. There is no other place like it, and it's a true Chicago establishment. I like that there are options for where you can eat. You can eat in your car and have the car hop bring you food. You can eat outside at the picnic tables. Or you can order inside and eat in their dining area. I also just found out that they provide catering! Superdawg will always hold a special place in my heart, and I hope that it remains open for generations to come.

It was almost 11pm (they're open until 2am on Fridays.) and there were at least a dozen other vehicles in their drive-in stalls. Ordered their specialties, a Superdawg and Whoopskidawg with Superfries, Chocolate Super Malt and Black Kows. Service was fast and friendly at 11pm on a Friday. We were eating in our rental car in apx 10 min. It was cool to eat outside on a warm July night in a classic, 1950s style drive-in. The food was excellent, flavorful and fresh. I normally avoid krinkle cut fries because they are usually frozen and mushy or mealy. Not Superfries. These fresh cut fries were practically fried mashed potatoes. We loved them! The drinks were perfect. The Black Kows is basically a root beer float and served with an extra root beer "sidecar." Our only complaints were about errors with the garnishes. We specifically said we wanted all the garnishes on both dawgs and they only gave us the standard grilled onions on the Whoopskidawg and forgot the sport peppers on the Superdawg. Otherwise we loved everything. We might go back next week (before we fly home) because I really want to try their Whoopercheesie Burger and maybe a Supersundae. (Menu Descriptions/Prices) Superdawg Not a wiener - not a frankfurter - not a red hot - but our exclusive... Superdawg™. On a poppy seed bun, we tenderly place the loveliest, juiciest creation of pure beef hot dog (no pork, no veal, no cereal, no filler), formally dressed with all the trimmings, escorted by our often imitated, but never equaled, Superfries™. Served with all the trimmings - golden mustard, tangy piccalilli, kosher dill pickle, chopped Spanish onions and a memorable hot pepper. $9.30 Whoopskidawg Our char-broiled version of a Romanian, Hungarian, Polish sausage; basted in our special sauce, and served on a Whoopskiroll™, with grilled onion and a pickle. $12.05 Superfries For extra pleasure an extra measure of Superfries™. $4.35 or $6.95 - Try 'em with cheese! Supermalts and Supershakes A full pint of smooth creamy refreshment so thick we put straws in them only to prove that you can't draw them through. Flavors: double rich chocolate, mellow vanilla, real-fruit strawberry or pineapple. $5.80 - Regular $7.10 - Large Black Kows A beverage--a dessert--a snack. Chunks of ice cream floating in a foamy sea of root beer. You can drink it. You can eat it. You can do both at once. $6.20
