Great pre fixe and date worthy. Yummy mezze, salmon tartare, salmon pasta n kebab plus tiramisu n Prada cake. Great for a date or just to dine in.

Visited Kitchen 46 today. The 5 stars definitely go toward the service. Wyatt was kind, patient, energetic, and very attentive. He was knowledgeable about the menu, especially the most ordered items, and made our experience more enjoyable. That said, the acoustics in this place aren't great--people talking at nearby tables sounded like they were yelling. That really took away from the atmosphere, as I was hoping for a more intimate setting and this missed the mark. As for the food, I didn't find it reasonably priced for the portion sizes, and it didn't blow me away in terms of flavor. The octopus was nicely tender but bland--perhaps a drizzle of olive oil could elevate the dish. The lamb and beef kebab came as just one skewer, which felt very small. The eggplant had a strong truffle oil flavor that was overpowering, and the prosciutto balls were just okay--not a standout. Overall, great service but the ambiance and food didn't quite meet my expectations.

Was in the area after going to an art show in the City. We didn't have a reservation, so nothing available inside the restaurant. Only seating outside in the covered area. Was okay, but would of much prefer to sit inside where it was warmer. Restaurant was quite busy, so our order took a long time. They apologized several times for the delay. So definitely make reservations! Food was good, really enjoyed the pizza that we ordered for appetizer. Main course was okay. I think it would of been nice if they had given us something complimentary for long wait, like dessert to share would of been nice ‍

Stopped by for dinner before seeing a broadway show. The location is definitely convenient if you're going to a show. The food was good, but I didn't think it was amazing. I also thought it was overpriced for what it was. We got the octopus salad, salmon tartar, garlic shrimp and the village salad. Service was good as well and it was a cozy ambiance inside. The manager walked around and offered a sample of a signature cocktail which was definitely a nice touch as well!

Restaurant row would be an understatement! While in the city to see Hells Kitchen (a MUST!) we came a bit early to find an early dinner. As expected it was very busy but we walked around a little and this place felt super cute. We always appreciate menus outside the restaurant and the hostess was readily available for a couple of questions. They offered gluten free options and dishes, so we decided to give them a go. And so happy we did. Their house Sauvignon blanc was tasty and we both enjoyed the mussels + fries. The broth with the mussels was delicious (but unfortunately we both had between 6-8 unopened mussels which seemed a lot as an entree. The fries were delicious (+ I'm not a fry person!) The service was fast, efficient, personable and very welcoming. One could/should add this spot to your pre-show dinner options.

Out of towners from California stumbled upon this gem. Cute, fresh, crisp, and modern atmosphere. Kitchen 46 has an intimate yet causal ambiance. Staff are wonderful, friendly, and happy to share about the menu and area. Food is mediterranean based and delicious. We went with the prix three to get an appetizer, main and dessert. We went with the mezze - hummus, taztziki, and cauliflower, which comes with homemade pita, so good we ordered some to go. Mains we had the salmon and chicken, both cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We finished with cheesecake and tiramisu both good. I have to say I was surprised to read the other yelp ratings as it was not our experience. Makes me think the owner took the constructive feedback and made changes - even more of a reason to give this rating. Amazing staff, great food, and wonderful ambiance.

This place is quite small but has an intimate, candlelit dinner vibe. I also have no complaints about the service. Really mixed feelings about the food though, which makes me sad to knock off a couple of stars from this review. I liked the beef and lamb kebab, which was flavorful and came with thick-cut fries and some roasted vegetables. My boyfriend ordered the saffron rice with seafood, and while I liked how the seafood flavor was infused with the rice, he didn't, and he also thought that the dish could've used more salt or other seasonings. The total bill for these two dishes was $75, and the saddest thing was that I was still hungry at the end.

Located on First Avenue, between 61-62nd Streets. In warm weather, there are a few small outdoor tables. We have several appetizers for the table. We enjoyed the fresh, beautiful salad. Several of my colleagues were very impressed with the olive oil on the salad. I just know that all the food I ate was delicious. LOL ABOUT THAT SALAD--the beautiful red tomatoes, cut in quarter chunks were delicious. The round, thin slices of cucumber with a yummy dressing were great. I tasted a bit of sweetness at first bite with the cucumber slices . My faves were the tomatoes and cucumbers in the salad, there was also fresh red onion, green pepper, possibly red pepper too. Overall, a delicious salad, served feta cheese triangles. Other appetizers we enjoyed were: Spinach pie, fresh warm Pita triangles with delicious dips, a round, deep fried feta cheese ...if you can imagine an egg roll, but with feta cheese inside, and a honey sauce. my entrée was absolutely delicious. It was the Koftedes Plate, featuring delicious lamb/beef patties, juicy and delicious. As far as I was concerned, my flavor on these was totally lamb. Absolutely delicious. Also on the plate: mixed greens, red pepper delicious tzatziki sauce in a small dipping cup-perfect size. And a yummy rice portion-loved it! The lamb patties were on top of the warm pita. I loved this.!! It was flavorful, juicy, and delicious. Many of my colleagues ordered the chicken kebabs and they loved it. The plates also had mixed greens and a sauce. And one person had the dorado fish which she said was delicious; a small size portion size but delicious. I missed seeing the fish, I was busy eating the yummy food in front of us. Sorry, I didn't photo the fish. I look forward to coming back. I might even have the same thing again! It was so good. Service was excellent, friendly, fun and professional and patient. Atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. Unisex rest room was clean, and small. On the street, You'll see flowers surrounding the front windows and entrance. And, in nice weather, there are usually a few small tables outside. Sea Salt Restaurant is located on First Avenue between E. 61st St. and E. 62nd St. It is across the street from Rodney's, formally called Rodney Dangerfield's club. Half a block away you will see the orange sign of Home Depot. And about a block and a half away, you will see Trader Joe's located under the 59th St., Bridge. So if you need a reason to come to FIRST AVENUE..., you have Trader Joe's and Home Depot waiting for you, and Rodney's too, and a nearby Starbucks. See my photos of the February 2026 menu and some of the food we all enjoyed. I recommend this restaurant. They do serve alcohol. We did not partake in alcoholic beverages. Soda by the can was enjoyed.

It was around 7:00 and only a few tables were occupied near the window, while the rest of the dining room was empty, as well as the bar. We ordered a soda and delicious lavender blueberry cocktail which was nicely garnished and tasted great! We informed the bartender that we were gluten free and started with the tuna tartar gluten free (no soy sauce). It came out with regular bread which the bartender quickly absconded from the runner as it was not gluten free. I appreciated the urgency and thanked him. By the time the gluten free flatbread came out, we had taken a bite of the tuna. It was warm, and it tasted like it's been left out for a while. The color you see in the picture is not filtered. We thought maybe it was the lighting above the bar, but sadly, it wasn't. When we were asked if we were ready to order entrees, I explained to the bartender that we need the check because that tuna was absolutely awful and should never be served to a guest. He looked bewildered but gave us the check. We were charged $25 for that obviously expired tuna tartar. Now that I've checked Yelp, I see that the restaurant has multiple health code violations. I'm not surprised given the lack of quality and complete disregard for guest service. Sadly, another once fine restaurant is off my list of places to go.

You can tell immediately that everything is fresh. For the main course, we had a platter that came with steak, chicken, and lamb chops, and everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors and seasoning were top-tier. For dessert, we had the warm baklava, which was absolutely delicious with every bite. If you have kids, don't worry--they also have an appetizer that's similar to a mozzarella stick that was absolutely delicious. I just can't remember the name of it! They play all types of music, and even though the space is big, the personal and intimate connection with the employees is what really made the experience special. The manager, Joselyn, was incredibly warm and welcoming. Our waitress, Vivian, was on top of every single request. Bravo! This is definitely a place where you could throw a birthday party, have a professional dinner, or simply enjoy a beautiful night out with your wife. The décor was inviting and the service was genuinely warm from the moment we walked in. We ordered the beet salad, grilled lamb, spinach pie, and octopus. The beet salad was delicious and came with almonds and a spread that tasted almost like hummus. The octopus was a generous portion and surprisingly tender -- my son ate more than half of it, which says everything. They also served bread and beans on the side, both of which were fantastic. The spinach pie came as huge triangles; it was decent, though not my personal favorite. The lamb arrived much later than the other dishes, but it was worth the wait. Thick‑cut, cooked medium rare, and served with grilled vegetables -- it was perfectly done and surprisingly good. Overall, the food was fantastic and the service matched it. We'd definitely come back.

My waitress was great, the bus boy came around and he had poured water with no ice. I remember that I had to ask my waitress for ice water and she came back with it. I was told by the Hostess that upstairs was only limited to private parties. I remember it was packed and they probably get a lot of foot traffic because it's right across the street from Bloomingdale's. They gave me free bread and looked like humus. The appetizer was grilled octopus, the only problem that I had was they had charged an additional $12 because this is Restaurant Week we are suppose to get a deal. The entrée was a Branzino served with saffron risotto. I always wanted to try risotto because of the reality show "Hell's Kitchen" they mess up on this dish numerous times. The dessert I had was a sorbet and it changes so you have to ask what kind they have when ordering. For the drink they had a sangria and it was delicious, I had ordered another one. They had special drinks on the menu for $10. I remember the place gave an old school feel of Greece with the design of the bricks inside the restaurant and the plates. The bathroom was just one that everyone had to wait on. The bathroom was clean, but small. I said that I never had Greek food before, I never had octopus before, I liked it. I never had risotto before, I liked it. The reason why I give this restaurant five stars because I can't remember if the bathroom had toilet seat covers or not because that's a plus for me. Would I go back here again? Heck yeah! The food was great! The service was great! I have now become a fan of octopus, risotto was delicious and so is that sangria, I had to order it twice. So come check out this East Side gem.
