The construction crew themselves were clearly very experienced and knowledgeable; they followed our approved plans meticulously and were happy to accommodate extra requests along the way. You can truly gauge the quality of their work by the fact that every single city inspector visit passed on the first try--nothing ever had to be rescheduled or redone because everything was built perfectly to plan. I was first referred to Preferred Builders by my tax preparer, Happily, my first repair/remodel turned out wonderfully so I immediately started a remodel on my own home. Scope of work: remove all the carpeting in the house and install laminate plank flooring in those areas. The travertine flooring in the entry, kitchen and hallway had large craters which collected dirt and water residue after washing. I had the floor steamed, the craters filled and the whole floor resealed. I had a gasline installed in the kitchen and a new gas oven installed. I also had a complete bathroom remodel which included removing a huge jacuzzi tub and installing an elegant and safe walk in shower. For the bathroom Nir listened to my concerns and needs and then gave me two 3-D renderings of my options. Elba was fabulous and fast with permits, a purchase list and provided weekly job schedules and updates. I have now completed this remodel and I can't be happier. I told him I was ready to order the Locarno faucet and the matching accessories. He was able to locate everything but the soap dispenser. It would have taken six weeks to arrive. While Danial wrote up the order I went over to the Dishwasher Department and was greeted by Alex who was also very nice, informative and answered all of my questions, in regards to a Thermador Sapphire dishwasher which I will purchase at a later date. He happily told me that my order would arrive, at the warehouse for pickup 2 days later and on top of that I was going to save a couple hundred dollars by getting a Pacific Sales Membership. Instead of handing me the receipt professionally, she just told me "grab your receipt" while it printed out. No customer service, no apology, nothing.
