Our neighbor had kitchen mart do her kitchen remodel and we were so impressed we had to go visit the showroom. We spoke with Jim Howard, who was wonderful to work with. We had a 40 year old kitchen and we were ready for a new look. They gave us quotes on all new cabinets or just re serviced ones.We went with all new. They started the job when they told us and finished the job when they told us. All of the workers were Outstanding! And cleaned up everything everyday. They did a outstanding job and we would recommend them to All, If you want the job done right! Thank You kitchen mart! Just finished up a kitchen remodel with Kitchen Mart and couldn't be happier with the entire process! The designer (Susan Broaddus) was awesome and came up with a near-perfect design. I made a couple small tweaks but everything else was her execution of the concepts rolling around my brain, Pinterest pages, etc. One of the things that drew me to Kitchen Mart is that they do all the work in-house (i.e., no subcontractors). My project manager (Edgar Mendoza) was an awesome communicator with eMail, text messages, or calls on a regular basis and the KM team would call to remind me of project checkpoints (e.g., start of demo, inspections, etc.). The individual team leads were great as well, in regular contact, and receptive to questions or suggestions. From demo though construction, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, counters, and to final hookups, everything Kitchen Mart did was done with great care. I'd heard horror stories of change orders, etc. but my job only had three small change orders, one of which was my fault. Two of the change orders were actually credits and the third was to cover the cost of the inspections (which I was expecting since the actual cost isn't known up front). Even with a couple issues (neither their fault), they stuck to the schedule without exception and completed the job on the day promised. They were VERY clean and were even cleaning/dusting the floors *outside the construction* area on the last day. The quality of the cabinetry (KraftMade) and Kitchen Mart's craftmanship is exceptional. I was 110% happy with how everything turned out and wouldn't hesitate to use them for additional projects!

    Kitchen remodel

We are beyond thrilled with our newly remodeled kitchen from Kitchen Mart! Our journey began in December with picking out our surfaces and cabinet faces at the Rocklin Showroom. We paid a deposit and then waited for an appointment to begin measuring and planning the remodel. The wait to begin the remodel was long, as a result of supply chain problems and Covid restrictions, but the team communicated well along the way. We were able to order a special sink and faucet that we wanted to use in the remodel, and have them ready for installation. I can't say enough good things about the team of highly skilled workers that were assigned to our project. Each one took great care of our property, and were very conscientious and meticulous in their craft. At times I felt like their standards were even higher than my expectations. There were parts of our remodel that were a little tricky, because we own a vintage home, but the team rose to the challenge each time, and the end result is very unique and exactly what we wanted! One of the best things about booking with Kitchen Mart is having a project manager that really manages the job. A question about cabinetry, paint, countertop... all goes to the same person, who always quickly responded to my queries! Inviting people into our home to demo and build was a little stressful in these times, but our experience with Kitchen Mart ended up being exactly what we'd hoped for in every way.

I totally recommend Sacramento Millworks. Skip the big box kitchen designers, and contractors using…read morestock cabinets and call Raymond! I love my kitchen and I've also approached him about a future project. I had a basic 1970's era condo kitchen-outdated but can't really change the footprint. I tried to revive it with refacing. It still didn't function well, but I worked around it. A leak in the wall behind the cabinets, forced an unexpected remodel. I received estimates from several contractors using stock or RTA "IKEA" kitchen cabinets. The cabinets I saw in these stores did not seem as sturdy as my existing cabinets. I couldn't customize and would have similar unusable spaces where the pre-made cabinets are put together. The contractors and pre-made cabinet stores told me custom cabinets would cost twice as much as their estimates. While looking for design ideas, I saw multiple Houzz and Reddit posts stating a local carpenter could give me custom cabinets at a much better price. I am so glad I paid attention to the posts! That's how I found Sacramento Millworks. His price for my project was comparable to the quotes I received for stock cabinets. Raymond is a carpenter and a designer. Because of his experience, he handled everything. He walked me through everything, including a trip to the granite and tile shops. I just picked colors. He was very patient. Most of contractors I've worked with recently send employees to do the work. They just pop in here and there until it's time for payment. Raymond was on site working with one helper everyday. I really appreciated that!

I spoke with multiple companies prior to hearing of Sacramento Millworks. They all told me my dreams were not realistic. Raymond not only took interest in my project then took the idea it to a level I never expected. My kitchen gets a positive reactions from everyone who sees it, thank you Ray!

From the very first visit, Paul set himself apart from other contractors I had met with -- he arrived fully prepared with a variety of material and color samples, thoroughly explained the refacing process, covered warranty details, took measurements, and even designed the layout, all in a single appointment. There was never any pressure to sign, which I genuinely appreciated. When questions came up after his visit, Paul responded quickly with a phone call followed by a detailed email complete with photos and examples. That level of follow-through is hard to find. Once I signed the contract, Jaime came by to confirm measurements and listen to my ideas, translating them into a well-defined project plan. The results speak for themselves -- everything was completed ahead of schedule. The cabinet refacing surpassed my expectations, and the material we selected not only looks stunning but feels great and is effortless to clean. The new coffee bar in the living room has become an absolute showstopper, and the added cabinets in the laundry area are both practical and well-crafted. Miguel, who handled the final installation, was a true professional -- communicative, courteous, and a pleasure to have in our home. The team wrapped up with a thorough walk-through and left everything immaculate. I've already recommended JV Cabinets to friends and family, and I would do so again without hesitation.
