Got the Combo 1 (1 Fish, 1 Jumbo Shrimp, Fries). Pretty good fish. It was a light/medium batter, moist and flaky. I was fortunate to have a small conversation with the owner. I complemented her on how the food was perfectly fried since all of the items were crispy and not greasy at all. You can definitely sense that the owner is a genuine and sincere person, who cares about the quality of the food and also keeping great customer satisfaction. There are four tables inside for dining. Service was very friendly. Definitely no issues with parking.

+ good size fish! And really tasty + good price for what you get + onion rings and fried mushrooms are good! + great service and friendly staff + parking is super easy since its in a big shopping center lot - fries are MEH - it can take a long time to get your food, but that just shows its popularity, highly recommend calling in your order so you don't have to wait long

Price is good but food is bland. Service was fast and friendly. Little hole in the wall type. Older place but fits the cheap price.

Kitty's Fish & Chips (Covina) offers freshly cooked food, extremely affordable prices, and generous portions. I ordered the Lent Special (aka: 2 Fish, 5 Large Shrimp, & Fries) for only $11.99! The portion size is humongous! And its food contains fresh, clean ingredients cooked with expert care. (Important Note: Bring Cash. A service charge of $1.00 will be applied to all credit card purchases.) I arrived on a weekday (around 12:20PM). Kitty's Fish & Chips (Covina) is busy with longtime, cheerful patrons. Staff happily bantered with customers while being professional and efficient. Three customers had ordered ahead of me. My food was ready in 13 minutes. (Note: If in a rush, order via phone. Staff is very accommodating. Staff even asks for your preferred pick-up time, so it's ready fresh for your arrival.) As mentioned, I ordered the Lent Special (2 Fish, 5 Large Shrimp, & Fries) for $11.99. I left full and happy! The fish is breaded lightly; it has a fresh crunch. It's freshly cooked so don't burn yourself. The fish is fresh, thick, and piping hot. The large shrimp has a thin crust similar to Japanese tempura. It's a welcomed crunch. These big shrimps are absolutely delicious when dunked in their cocktail sauce. Perhaps the weakest food option are the fries. The fries are thick and fluffy, but these fries are not crisp. Most tasted very soft. (Important Tip: When you receive the food, eat it quick. If left aside for too long, the breading quickly becomes soggy. This is a meal that's best enjoyed fresh.) Kitty's Fish & Chips (Covina) has a charming, ship decor. The location is very clean and well-maintained. In addition, its soft rock, pop music is catchy. The location is well-ventilated, but cold. However, the location is very small. There's four tiny tables inside. There's no available restroom. And it's somewhat strange how there's a Christmas tree inside despite it being April. (Quick Tip: There's an additional charge for extra Tartar Sauce, Cocktail Sauce, and Condiments. Also, there's no free drink refills.) Overall, Kitty's Fish & Chips (Covina) is a local hidden gem. The prices are phenomenal. The food is bountiful and freshly cooked. And it's a beloved small local business that deserves a tremendous amount of recognition. High-Quality Food with Extremely Affordable Prices. I happily recommend! 5/5

Kitty's Fish & Chips is a staple when it's Lent season. If you want fried seafood at an affordable price, this is the spot. We ordered the "Lent Combo" which is a mix of fried fish, shrimp and a side of fries. Overall, everything is cooked well. Crisp fish and shrimp that are still tender and not overcooked. The fries are whatever. Overall, I think these items could have used more salt as it was a bit lacking in seasoning. This place can get quite busy on a Friday (during lunch). So call ahead if you're in a rush!

Incredible experience. I am beyond impressed with this place. First off, this hidden gem has the best vibes I've seen from a restaurant in years; it's so cute in here! There's ships and lighthouses and cute little string lights too! The service was very good as well. This place is family owned by some of the kindest people ever. And the food... I can honestly say this is the best fish and chips I have ever had. No seriously. If you're reading this you NEED to go try it. Everything from the shape of the fish, to the perfect batter to fish ratio, to the perfectly seasoned tartar sauce, to the delicious fries, and finally the cherry on top: the vinegar! Oh and even the Pepsi was dressed to impress over here; check out the cup design! Super retro I love it. The pricing couldn't be more reasonable and fair too. I paid just about $13 for everything. 15/10 experience I am so happy I tried this place out. This place is a hidden gem and I cannot wait to come back and try more menu items!

Food is well prepared. The fish is flaky as I like it, but it doesn't taste like cod or fishy. The fish are all the same size, like they are manufactured. Both shrimps and fish are in a crispy batter. For the price, you're getting your money's worth. The lady is very nice and pleasant at order/pickup counter. The place is a hole in wall type with limited sitting, about 4 tables. Place is air fan cooled.

Just be sure not to arrive too hungry because we don't want yall to be hangry! If you're looking to avoid the wait, I'd recommend visiting on a weekday, especially around 2 pm or 3 pm. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The atmosphere had a welcoming vibe that reminded me of being in Thailand, which added to the overall experience. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. As for the food, their fish and chips are hands down the best I've had. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and every bite was worth it. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality, service, and overall experience make it well worth the splurge. I'll definitely be coming back with my gf!

3.5 Stars First…read morevisit and had an okay experience. We went to celebrate my mom's birthday. The service was efficient, but not overly friendly. The food was a mixed bag. Some items were delicious; others were lacking in flavor or had an "unusual" taste. The dining area is a decent size, it was clean, and there is plenty of parking in the shopping center's lot. FOOD: We ordered a varied selection from the menu. Some items, Breaded Shrimp ($7.95), Smoky Seared Ahi Tuna ($20,95), and Ocean House Halibut ($33.95) were very tasty, but the Ahi Tuna Grilled, served rare ($18.95), Clam Chowder ($9.95), and Seafood Bisque ($10.95) were only okay. I mentioned an unusual taste, not bad, but the flavors of the chowder and the bisque were different than I've had at other seafood restaurants. I tried their Thai Iced Tea ($5.25) which was good. Overall, we felt that this dinner experience could have been better, but I would be willing to pay them a second visit and try some different menu items.

Walking into the restaurant you get this whiff of, 'Whatever that is I want some, and now please!" I came during the lunch rush and believe me, they had a line for a very good reason. The inside of the restaurant was small and outdated, but if there's one thing you know about mom and pop shops like that, is that it is either a hit or miss. And boy does the fish slap. Yesssir!! Suddenly the interior decor doesn't matter at all. The fish pieces are HUGE!!! I ordered a 3-piece and what it definitely looked like I got was at least a 5-piece. The crunch of the batter to the flakiness of the fish.. ugh. Makes me want to go back just thinking about it. The tartar sauce and malt vinegar paired along so nicely.. my mouth is watering again. I got some cole slaw and fries to go along with my meal. The cole slaw wasn't too creamy nor too watery. Just the right mixture of sauces with the right hint of pineapple. I wanted to get other items on the menu to try, but I figured I'd definitely be back judging just by the smell of the inside of the restaurant. And.. after tasting the food, I most definitely will be. We had an H Salt near us prior to that closed and haven't been able to find a place to visit. So glad I found this place! It's a must visit! Come by. Oh.. the sign says 'Cash Only', but they also take Zelle! Enjoy!

But the more I dived in and the more the great flavors really started to settle in my stomach, the more full I got. That was probably some of the best fried shrimp I've ever had--only I had three. I really should have gone all-shrimp as my option. The fish was good--flaky, funky, and super tender--but that shrimp really was the star of the production. The ambiance was very laidback and peaceful. It was like taking a relaxing lunch at the harbor somewhere. And the staff couldn't have been nicer. I didn't feel rushed or a bother at all. It was a very good place filled with good people to have a meal in. But next time I might try the actual whole fish dishes as I saw on the menu. It's just too bad they don't have trout as a whole fish choice. I bet they'd make a masterpiece out of that beauty. Of course I could just bury myself in fried shrimp next time and drown as a happy man too.

I recently discovered a new sustainable seafood restaurant near my house that I hadn't heard much…read moreabout. Curious to try it, I visited and found a variety of seafood options. One feature I really appreciated was the kiosk ordering system, which included pictures of everything on the menu. I ordered the Honey Citrus Shrimp Bowl with avocado. The portion sizes were quite generous, and the shrimp were jumbo and plentiful. Overall, the dish was very tasty and filling. My only criticism is that the avocado cost an extra $1.25. While that's not too steep if you get a decent portion, I only received three slices from one half of the avocado (as shown in the picture). Despite this small issue, I can definitely see myself returning with family and friends.

If I remember correctly, this location opened some time in the middle of last year (2025) because I remember seeing them remodeling when I visited Urbane Cafe next door. We were picking up an online order next door at Urbane Cafe, and we were intrigued enough by California Fish Grill, as there were a constant stream of customers coming and going, that we decided to place an order online. Once we placed an order online, we noticed that there was an offer (purchase a drink and get a Everything Protein Bowl for free) so why not order another item since we were already there. Lobster Roll Plate $27.95 Everything Protein Bowl (white rice) $12.99 (Free w/ Drink purchase - App) Cajun shrimp, salmon, swai and grilled chicken served over white rice, beans, diced tomato, chili mix and chopped parsley. Served with a side of our Roasted Tomatillo Salsa. Soft Drink $3.60 Of course with any takeout order, the items do not taste as fresh as eating them in store, but we had a few errands to run before enjoying these items. I have no frame of reference for Lobster Roll costs anymore, so we thought that the price was not bad for the amount given along with the taste. We did have a shell piece in our Lobster Roll, so I guess that at least lets you know it is actually pieces from a lobster. The Everything Protein Bowl sure was larger than expected! With the amount of protein included in this bowl, it was more than worth it, especially at its price. Since we were not sure how "spicy" the chili mix could be, we asked for no chilis, but there were still some on the plate. The order was ready for us when we walked in and there were a few customers enjoying their meals as well. The odd thing was, there were no trashcans anywhere! So, of course, plates/trays were left on tables for the employees to clean. If the employees are busy, then the trash is just left there on the tables. A bit untidy and inconvenient if one is looking for a place to sit. I guess one could move the trays to consolidate on another table but it is just a bit odd that we did not see a trashcan anywhere. There was plenty of parking in front of the restaurant as there are more parking spots than actual storefronts in this plaza. Overall, we would return again.

Hi Today July 3rd…read more2026 Friday, we experienced the most ridiculous customer service at your location City of Industry. My husband & I always go to this location, we are not a first timer but we always go there alot. You don't have cups for the water, the manager Lylet Granados offered us a small soup bowl. It is definitely insulting, we are not there to ask for free water, we ordered food, we would like to dine in and enjoy our Friday but you not having cups for the water is not the customer's fault. As a restaurant it is your job to make sure cups are available for customers. It would not be fair to buy a cup for the soda when we don't drink soda and we only drink water. Escalating the issue with the manager didn't help, she didn't offer anything to resolve but she keeps in insisting to offer the small soup bowl. I even asked if she can give us one cup, we just need a drinking cup not a soup bowl. But there's soda cups available. She didn't offer bottle water for purchase and we are willing to pay extra for water bottle. This is very degrading!!! Now, my question to the corporate office .. Is this how you treat your customer? To drink water from a small soup bowl like a dog when there's soda cups available?!!! Small soup bowl is different from drinking cups. You probably one of our favorite place to eat but customer service counts alot. What is the point of having a manager when she can't think out the box? She can't decide to do the right thing for the customer, no critical thinking in situations like this. She told us across the board all location you don't have cups for the water which is a lie because we called Brea location and they have cups for the water. Manager is Lylet Granados should be re trained or needs corrective action for insulting customer. Not sure why would she think it's OK to drink in a small soup bowl. She needs to know difference between bowl and cups. We are expecting a refund on this and we hope you refund us right away!!! We will never ever come back, definitely we will reach out to the Corporate Office!!
