Had a reservation for a party of 6 people at 6:15pm on a Saturday night. Seated 5 minutes before our reservation time. The table was upstairs in the enclosed rooftop for the colder weather. Food arrives at the table at different times, don't expect it to come all together. Not a problem when you are aware. Food was good but nothing to write home about. I did really enjoy Furdock's Mexican Corn Elote Dip, though. Our waitress was very personable and attentive. Expect to drop some dough for your meal and drinks.

It's was kinda blah. We made reservations and still waited 15 minutes for our table. The lavender mule was yummy. The French onion soup was a little tasteless and WAY too big for a before dinner soup. I finished half of it. I really wanted the beef wellington, but I do not like mushrooms and they wrap the inside of it with the paste, so I had to pass. I got the chicken france' and it was also kinda blah. It was weirdly sweet, but the chicken itself was good. Ambiance, I give a 2. It is so dang loud and crowded in there, so if you aren't a fan of that, don't even try this place. Bartenders, 8 give a 5 Staff, I give a 3. We had to ask for silverware.

Four of us went on a hazy Tuesday summer night and were seated on the rooftop. There was a breeze so it was nice. The tables were clean and we were greeted promptly. Three people ordered salads and one nachos. The waitress told us as we ordered our food that things were served "as they came up in the kitchen" and we may not get things at the same time. My friend and I got our salads about 25 min after ordering. Next order was another salad, 15 min later. By the time the nachos came, the first two were about done, about 15 min after the third. It took a total time of an hour to get all of our food. I'm hoping this was a mistake because that's not acceptable when we are eating together. The food was great, I loved my wedge salad. The atmosphere is also pretty good and it has a bistro vibe going. It's a shame they serve the food the way they do because I'd hesitate going again in a group. You'd be best off sharing dishes so that each of you could eat something at the same time.

Kix hosted a dinner for my bachelorette party for 20 gals and it was amazing! From initial outreach to paying for the check, they were helpful, accommodating, and friendly. The family style dinner had huge portions! We enjoyed the beautiful upper balcony and many drinks. Would be remiss if I forget to mention the amazing espresso martini's! Truly couldn't have picked a better spot in Canandaigua. Thank you Kix!

I came to kix on main with my mom and dad and cousin. I had a lot of fun and when I walked in immediately the vibe was great. There were many food options I had the chicken and waffles it was delicious! I met the owner Alex bacon and I made him a bracelet and I also got a picture with him. Our waiter was very kind and patient. The music was great and the style of the restaurant was really unique. Overall I had an excellent time at Kix on Main.

We came out to Kix a few nights ago and it was the first time in a couple years we were there. We had a reservation and it did take a few mins for our table to be ready but it was understandable because the place was absolutely packed. Our server Margaret was absolutely amazing and very nice. She had made a recommendation on the calamari and it was some of the best we've had in a long time. We got the chicken French and the beef Wellington. Both entrees were amazing! For dessert we got the season cheesecake that was a lemon and blueberry cheesecake and it was so refreshing and light. It was a great experience overall and I'm sure we'll be returning again soon!

I have to say that our visit was such a pleasant experience. Food, service, and cocktails were all incredible! The ambiance was so quaint, and quiet. Absolutely loved it all and will return the next time we are in the area.

Everything was so delicious...the salads were out of this world! And the cookie dessert Shannon and Carter were amazing bartenders!! The best personalities and so so helpful.

We came as a larger group and they were nice enough for us to order from the breakfast menu as they switched over the lunch menu at 11:30am. Our table enjoyed the food but all agreed it wasn't worth the price point. I tried the chocolate croissant with homemade butter and maple bacon jam along with the Canadian bacon Benedict. The chocolate croissant was nice with the maple bacon jam but definitely not worth the price point of $12. The croissant was quite smaller, like the chocolate croissants you can get from Costco or Starbucks. The Canadian bacon eggs Benedict however was delicious and I really enjoyed it! I just am not sure again it was worth the high price point. However I definitely felt the service was missing. As we were the only ones in the dining area, I felt the service was missing the mark. The server saw we were carrying a baby in the restaurant but didn't ask if we wanted a high chair. My mother-in-law spied it in the corner and then we had to ask for it and we proceeded to set it up at the table. As I was with 2 young kids, I ordered some simple items before the main course like their chocolate croissant and fruit cup. I assumed the server would ask if we wanted those ahead of time but that didn't happen. He also had forgotten my son's drink order and which my son actually had to ask him after some time "where's my juice?" My older son had ordered the s'mores waffles and it looked good when it was delivered but as I cut some of it for me to try later on, I soon realized the batter was uncooked in the middle of most of them. I was thoroughly disappointed he had eaten some of it before I discovered it was uncooked. The server throughly apologized and they remade the order which in the end, we ended up taking home with us. They also didn't take the order off the check for us which normally that would happen. For such a classy restaurant, we would think they would know how to make waffles and for more top-notch service. I think next time we will just enjoy the nice views and choose to eat somewhere else when we are in the area.

Of course, the Finger Lakes are KNOWN for wine so we're just thinking we're making reservations for a wine bar (with "speakeasy" vibes). Which that would've been totally cool with us. After continuous back and forth, changing our reservations 50 million times, adding and taking people out, we finally made it to Vinifera on a Friday night and were super apologetic since we had to make yet another change. The staff was absolutely incredible and accommodating, they made sure our party of 10 would be in the same room/table. The only "downfall" was that we'd have to share the room with another small party. Which was absolutely not a problem and we ended up being BFF'S with them by the end of the night. We met the owner Jim - the most incredible human - and he took us down to the speakeasy (which passes right through a super secretive door in the back of the main room upstairs). Side note - the main room upstairs is a vibe on it's own btw and we would've been absolutely fine and happy there. It's an actual wine store and you can purchase all kind of local wines. Be sure to ask and get all the recommendations you want. Not only did we get to enjoy an incredible time but we got a super cool VIP experience and learned the story and so much history about this place, the concept, the origin and what sparked the idea of creating it. That itself, was a treat. On to the actual speakeasy experience. When you go downstairs (through that fun super cool super secretive door) - you're instantly transported to another era, another time. It's dark, it's velvety, chandeliers, spiderwebs (the aesthetic kind, idk if there were actually any but it fit the vibe in my head), Leonardo Da Vinci, Mona Lisa, candles, curtains. There are two super cool rooms, one to the right (which is where our large party sat at) and one to the left - totally recommended for smaller groups, it's cozy, it's chill, you can interact and share with other guests too. Just by this, I'm wowed. As if this wasn't enough, the drinks were absolutely incredible. I ended up ordering some kind of a smoked drink and they happily substituted the regular old fashioned for mezcal. What a dream. Everyone was happy with their drink orders, some ordered some off the menu things and they happily made them - even though they technically only serve what's on the menu. Wine flights are also available if you're in the wine vibe. Bottom line: we loved this place SO much, we came back 2 night's later for our last night. We sat in the other room and absolutely loved and enjoyed it. I had a lavender drink and it was delish. This place is a GEM and you should absolutely check it out and support it if you're in the area. If you're not, well now you have a place I know you'll love to go to!

The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing, but the front-of-house needs some serious help. We began with the fried pickle chips, which were amazing--served piping hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The kitchen is remarkably quick, too; almost immediately after our appetizers arrived, the staff was already at our table taking main course orders. For my entree, I ordered the chicken tenders and fries basket. The tenders were perfectly golden and incredibly crispy, served with a generous mountain of fresh crinkle-cut fries. I'd rate the tenders a solid 3.5/5--my only minor critique is that they could be a bit more generous with the dipping sauce for a portion that size. My dad also ordered a beer, which was poured beautifully with a nice head. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience completely dragged the meal down with some glaring cleanliness and professionalism issues. I found a long hair wrapped right around the lemon wedge in my iced tea. To make matters worse, I watched the staff member pouring drinks rub her mouth right at the drink station before handling other beverages. Meanwhile, the lady behind the counter was completely disengaged, literally just scrolling on her phone instead of focusing on the dining room. The overall neglect was obvious if you looked around. Hanging directly above our dining table was a vintage wall thermometer covered in a heavy, flaking buildup of rust and grime--definitely not what you want hanging over your food. Even the bathroom was neglected, with trash and used paper towels left on the floor. If you are strictly judging by the kitchen's output, the food tastes fantastic and comes out incredibly fast. However, management desperately needs to invest in a deep clean and have a serious huddle with the staff regarding basic front-of-house hygiene.
