Dropped in on a Thursday around 5:45pm and it was completely empty. Service was quick and easy - order at the counter and pay, take a seat, and they'll bring your food out to you. The space is on the smaller side but they have a few tables and you can also takeout. You can order pizzas whole or the Detroit-style by the slice for about $6 per slice, depending on which one you get. We ordered 6 slices and some fries and overall everything was pretty tasty. I enjoyed the mushroom pizza the most. We got the scallion ranch and pickled jalapeños on the side for extra. I think it's a great casual pizza spot to drop by when you're craving NY or Detroit style pizza. I love that you can buy slices so you can try different toppings!

Old world pepps on this tasty, generous, perfectly priced slice of pizza.

My only regret in this review will be that I'm sorry we haven't been in sooner!! Kizza Pizza is phenomenal. We loved everything we tried. I only managed to get a picture of the pepperoni pizza we ordered, but we also tried the sausage and peppers, the mushroom taleggio, a make your own round pizza, and the rosemary garlic fries. Wowed at every bite. Seriously - I personally order the mushroom taleggio and it was amazing. Perfectly crispy crust, super generous portion, and absolutely delicious toppings. My life might be changed. Service was super friendly too. The restaurant is nice and clean, and had good seating. I think my second favorite thing (first being the bonkers delicious flavors) was the price. Very affordable for a family of 5. And we took home leftovers to boot! We'll be back soon!

After a few failed previous attempts, we finally made it in to Kizza. The staff was helpful and the dining area was spacious and clean. The Detroit style pizza is tasty and the best thing is that each family member can get a generous slice of whatever they like, vs buying a whole pie. I can't say it's way better than Jets or Via 313, but it's very tasty. If you're with a group who all like different stuff, this is a good option!

Super friendly and accommodating staff, delicious pizza. We had the pepperoni, sausage, hot chicken, and vodka pizzas. The hot chicken one was unique, it had a pesto sauce, and it was sweet. This as my boyfriend's favorite, and probably my second favorite! I really loved the classic pepperoni, nothing can beat the classic. I enjoyed how the crust on each slice was crispy, and how saucy each one was. Would come back

Great pizza and currently my go to if I have a pizza craving. Although it is a little more $ than any of my other pizza place but well worth it when you get the pizza I got Sunday. Just Sweeet Heat Pepperoni Square Pizza and Mom's Favorite in the Round but when it came out it just calls to you. It was the most vibrant and I have to say beautiful pizza I have ever seen. I don't usually take picture of food anymore but had to pull my camera and hope the picture does the pizza some justice. Not only does it look beautiful, it tasted so so good. The topping was light and the crust was so soft and fluffy. Great combination and everything just works well together. Hubby and I was quite please with the pizza this particular time. To be honest, the pizza taste the best when it just comes out and to enjoy it right then. I have had it taken home to enjoy, to go whole pizza, to go pieces as we only want a few slices. The best is always to order the whole pizza and enjoy it immediately. The pizza is great as left over and next day but I have to say, it is best when its right out of the oven fresh. Trust me!! I will definitely be coming back during the slow hours. As previously mentioned that the pizza is kinda pricey, I hope the owner consider providing complimentary pepper flake and parmesan cheese a standard, a couple as part of the pizza, instead of add on fees. I was kinda caught off guard after the transaction that it was a fee, not alot but a little caught of guard, although they did compliment me one of each. Highly recommend, so enjoy!!

Generous slices, bold flavor, and great service We were seriously BLOWN AWAY and MASSIVELY impressed with Kizza Pizza. If you're a fan of Detroit-style pizza, THIS SPOT is absolutely worth checking out and WORTH the drive! We drove about 40 minutes north of us and are glad we did! The slices are huge--It feels like you get two for the price of one--and they're thick, hearty, and loaded with toppings! We've tried everyones favorite Via 313, and honestly, we prefer Kizza. The sourdough crust is thicker in comparison, crisp on the edges, soft in the middle, and each slice felt more substantial and flavorful. They offer 7 different slices of their Detroit style pies, which allows you to basically try them all if you want! Top Three included:The Mushroom Taleggio - rich and savory without being too heavy. The Hot Honey Harvest - perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The Meat Lover's - a classic done really well. Don't miss the garlic rosemary fries with scallion ranch. Honestly it was an unexpected side, cause after eating pizza who thinks they need more carbs, but they were so crispy and good! We visited during a super busy time, Ren was incredibly helpful with slice recommendations and very attentive to the dining area--making sure tables were cleaned and guests were taken care of! They also offer 14" New York-style pies if you're in the mood for a thinner crust, which is a nice bonus. Also delicious, but we have to say the Detroit stole the show! They also have dessert, which apparently we will have to go back and experience! Plus we saw a salad that looked pretty epic to! All in all, the portions are generous, service is friendly and efficient, and the food delivers! Kizza Pizza is a great option if you're looking for a satisfying and well-executed Detroit slice in Austin!

Went here on a Sunday evening and it wasn't busy when we first arrived, but picked up after a little while. You order first then find a table to sit down. There are squares Detroit-style pizzas in the display case you could order, or you could also make your own round pies. We chose three different pizza pieces (Hot Honey Harvest, Vodka, and Sweet Heat Pepperoni) along with a Beet and Fennel Salad. The pepperoni was our favorite, kinda similar to the Bobo Brazilian at Via 313 flavor wise. Service was friendly and overall experience was good no frills and good. We'd come back!

Ordered a whole pie to go. i have literally been eating a slice for every meal since great sicilian square pies! the crust is crunchy while the dough is soft and flavorful. It took about 15 minutes from the time i ordered to have it ready, pretty fast. cute spot for cedar park! wish they had a location closer to me (domain) but worth the drive up north

Kizza Pizza was clean and delicious. I was a huge fan that you can order by the slice as well as the full pizza. They also sell canned beers to enjoy. We started with the fries and they were HOT which always makes the food taste better. The garlic wasn't overpowering either, it had a great taste so we ate these within 10 minutes. Personally I'm not huge on vodka sauce but I figured might as well try the pizza while I'm here. 10/10! IT WAS THE BEST ONE! I ate slowly so I could savor it. I will be ordering a full size time. The other pizzas were good too but the vodka sauce pizza was on another level.

pepperoni and jalapeño, and sweet heat (a lil too sweet)

One of the best pizzas i've had recently, but was a little too pricey & charged extra for parmesan cheese. "Sweet heat" was a little too much honey/too sweet. Would give 4.5 stars if I could.

I've heard a lot about Kizza Pizza so I've been meaning to visit! The restaurant is smaller than I had expected, but coming on a Wednesday evening, we were able to easily secure a table, with plenty to spare. My favorite type of pizza is Detroit style, so I already knew I would love the pizza here. And I was not disappointed! I like that you can see what the pizza looks like before you actually choose what you want. And they go and take what you want to be heated up. The edges were so crispy, the dough was soft and chewy, and the cheese was hot and delicious. We tried Vodka - I know this is a fan favorite, and while delicious, it wasn't necessarily my favorite. It didn't have much texture. It was very saucy and then the ricotta was also super soft. So it was very one note. The flavors - yum but there was no crunch, it was all just sauce. Sausage and brocollini - a really good choice if you want both veggies and meat. The texture of the brocollini was pretty nice but overall probably my least favorite of the four we tried. Still really good though! Mushroom and spinach - I think this one was my favorite of the night! So mushroomy, so cheesy, and so pesto-y. It was flavorful, it was saucy, and yet there was a good balance of things to chew too. Hot honey harvest - this one was also a top contender for me, but was only just beat out by the mushroom and spinach. However, this one was my friend's favorite! We're suckers for spicy pizza with honey. The arugula, cheese, and squash just took it to another level.

This place is great. It used to be Milano Pizza, but I don't think they did all that well. I'm happy that Kizza took over. The inside hasn't change much at all. It is clean, organized, and fairly comfortable. Staff is effective and efficient, but I wouldn't say friendly. Their menu is pretty limited - pretty much just pizza and drinks. They do have 1 side which I have never tried. They have soda, beer and wine in drink refrigerators and have quite the variety. Pizza itself is served by the slice or whole pizza. I've never gotten a whole pizza, only different slices. Pizza is fantastic! My fav is the sweet heat pepperoni. Definitely worth a visit.
