I went to Vic's yesterday with my daughter as we wanted to find a new breakfast spot. What a find! I was dying for a waffle and the one I had was fantastic. We walked through the door around 10am and were seated immediately. The waitress quickly got us coffee and gave us a few minutes to figure out our meal. The food was cooked perfectly and I ate it all. I had a plain waffle with the real maple syrup, a western omelette with hash and English muffin. I asked for peanut butter to go with my muffin but they put butter on it. The waitress fixed it immediately without issue. The place was hopping and for good reason. I didn't meet the manager but I want to salute him and the entire staff for how well they did. Great food, great service. I gladly over tipped as it just goes to show you that you don't need to be at a fancy 5-star restaurant to receive excellent service and food. Looking forward to returning. Wow, Vic's is fast becoming my favorite breakfast place. Too bad I live 2 1/2 hours away! They are, friendly, efficient, the food is fresh. What can I say?? My Waitress, Tracy, gave me all the details on the difference between the steak tips and the grilled steak. I had the tips yesterday and the grilled today. A unassuming diner spot that doesn't have any signage outside, but we assumed we were in the right place when we pulled into a full parking lot. We quickly we seated at a booth and was asked our drink order. The diner was bustling full of people for a Saturday morning breakfast. We ordered the chocolate bacon waffle and and Irish Benedict. I was expecting it to be a heavy waffle, but it was light and airy. The chocolate and bacon was cooked into the waffle and the grooves were filled perfectly with butter and maple syrup. Wow just wow, no real way to go here without a wait because there are that popular, parkinfs flowing out onto the street and people waiting in the lobby and their cars, still people get in and out fast with how quickly they pump out waffles. You are instantly hit with the aroma of waffles, little awkward waiting at the door with how busy it is. Multiple options for waffles, fresh squeeze oj and other breakfast items, best value going with a waffle combo, food came out in about 3 minutes and was delicious. This place is way out of the way for me, but it's so worth the drive. The waffles are. so. good! It's like eating a cloud. Slightly crispy exterior, soft on the inside, melts in your mouth. I cheat and I get a 1/2 waffle with a 1 egg meal, knowing that I'll get 3/4 of a waffle due to the slight overpour of batter. The OJ is freshly squeezed and the coffee is mediocre (but always hot). I've been coming here for years and they seem to hold onto a lot of the same staff year after year. The servers are great, they'll let you modify almost anything on the menu. The food always comes out quicker than you expect, and every single bite is yum! The only downside is it gets really packed here, esp on the weekends, and the parking is limited. I'm pretty sure nobody in this town knows how to cook breakfast and nobody will ever learn as long as this place exists. Pro tip: if you have a large group, call ahead before you leave the house so they can carve out table space for you. It should lessen your wait time slightly. read more

I just tried this place out for the first time this weekend and it was absolutely AMAZING! It was packed, but they service was really great, very attentive and lovely atmosphere. It felt very homey and inviting. We got the freshly squeezed orange juice, so refreshing and perfectly sweet. I got #15 biscuits with gravy, sausage patty, and poached egg with home fries. I love the crispy outside of the home fries, and the seasoning is great. They had hefty biscuits and giant sausage patties, great portion size. My friend got the omelette with ghost pepper jack, she thought it had a good spice. And the fruit waffle, they definitely piled on the fruit. So glad to have walked in. Doing work in the area, I was looking around to see what's available. Then, I saw Vic's Waffle House and made a deal with myself to have breakfast there sometime. (It was 4pm, and the DO have breakfast all day.) So, having some time to kill this fine morning, I went in. First off, it hits like a classic breakfast place. BUT, one big difference: This place is clean. Nice counter for maybe 20 and plenty of booths. And, wisely, the front is enclosed making it easier to wait when it, no doubt, gets busy on the weekends. Service was great. Seated quickly. Ordered quickly but not rushed. And Tracy is a charmer. Seriously. She's a hot ticket. If you're looking for a solid "traditional" breakfast place with some touches for locale, this will do nicely. read more

I've been to this breakfast place before and it was great, but my visit on 9/6/25 was a huge disappointment. The food was still excellent, but the service was terrible. The Brazilian waitress who took our order had a bad attitude from the start. She dropped off our food and never once came back to check on us. I sat through the entire meal waiting for a coffee refill that never came. I also wanted to order one of their muffins, but she never asked if we wanted anything else. The only other time she returned was to leave the check--and only then did she ask if I wanted more coffee, after we were already finished. At that point, what's the point? The place was bustling and it's first come first serve so I definitely recommend coming early but they are worth the wait. The service was quick and efficient. Went here today on a Sunday morning and it was crazy packed. Even with the line out the door and into the hallway, the wait wasn't too bad (15-20 mins). Typical diner/waffle house ambiance. We were seated at the counter. The service was pleasant. And our server never forgot about us even though it was busy. We ordered #5= 1 waffle, 2 eggs, 4 sausage links, hash browns and toast. The waffle was large. I could only eat half. The food was plentiful and I literally had to take most of it home. Total came to $37 for 2 breakfast plates. That's a bit pricey considering it's a waffle house... You're charged extra for everything (cheese, onions, waffle toppings) so it adds up. My wife, sister, and I met for breakfast on Wednesday, February 18. My wife and I arrived at 9:30, my sister at 9:37. The food was excellent, my only positive comment. However, our waitress continually pushed to get us to leave. She had a well-used line which included "you understand", "people are waiting" among other semi-polite verbiage. We were not in Vic's for a lengthy visit, perhaps 35 minutes. On the way out, I spoke to the waitress. I politely told her that in my 80 years, I have never been rushed so at a restaurant, and that we would help their future overcrowding issue by never coming back. Alright. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and be that one outsider who says....this place wasn't that great. Okay. To their credit, the waiting staff are very friendly and do a well enough job, considering how high their demand seems to be. We waited probably 25 minutes on a busy Sunday morning; which isn't too bad, all things considered. The issue, of course, lies with the food. So, how do you screw up breakfast? Why, it's as easy as screwing up good coffee. Right from the start, we're welcomed with what I can only describe as the blandest looking coffee I've ever seen in my 4+ decades of dining out. This coffee looked so bland, it looked like tea. This coffee was so bland, I didn't even take one sip. We immediately sent them back and traded those travesties-in-beverage-form out for a water and soda. Next, the waffle comes...before the rest of the meal. By at least 10 minutes. This means that if I want to enjoy my waffle *with* the rest of my meal, it will be inexorably cold by that point. Oh well. I took it in stride and the waffle was actually pretty okay. Like a 6 out of 10. The real problems start with the rest of the meal. Have you ever eaten something that was INFINITELY bland? As in, you pour a mountain of salt on top of the thing before it finally begins to taste like food? Well, Vic's Waffle House is the place for you if you've ever craved such incessant monotony. The hashbrowns needed about a quarter cup of salt, as did the eggs. Even the corned beef hash (which is homemade) was criminally under seasoned. Ya know....it's pretty embarrassing when the tastiest part of the meal is the buttered toast. Oh by the way, the steak tips wifey ordered were totally bland as well (total shocker, I know). Not even waterboarding the steak to death with A1 sauce was enough to make a difference. Not until she poured another mountain of salt on top, that is. 3 out of 10 for everything, I'd say. I don't get why the locals love this place, but....to each their own and all that. I promise I'm not a hater. This place just did not do it for me (us), personally. Still, we had to check it out for ourselves and see what all the fuss is about. We came, we saw......we yearned for flavor and seasoning. This place was packed and for good reason. The menu offers all the breakfast favorites in sweet or savory forms. And, the prices are unmatched -- I haven't seen breakfast food offered at those prices in so long. I'm from California and everything feels like it has doubled in the last year. Anyway, I stopped in with my nieces for a quick breakfast as we had a busy day of errands ahead of us. I ordered the corn beef hash breakfast which came with two eggs, toast, and hash browns. One of nieces ordered the cheddar cheese omelette which also came with toast and hash browns. My other niece ordered the one egg and two sausage breakfast. Everything came out within 10 minutes of ordering and we devoured our plates because it was so good. Light but very filling. We had an amazing breakfast and service at Vic's Waffle House. It was a Sunday morning and the place was packed at 8:00am. We sat at the counter. I am a tea drinker and they treat you EQUAL as a coffee drinker- or even better. You get a small pot of hot water, 2 tea bags, and they ask you if you need more water and even replaced the saucer. I was impressed! The food came out fast and is really good! I had the #13 chicken fried steak with eggs. The steak as so crispy even with the sausage gravy on top. The has browns were also crispy and well seasoned. The hubs waffle was light and crispy and soft all at the same time. We will def come here more often. read more

First and foremost, this is a Massachusetts run waffle house. Don't expect the gentile waffle house culture of that waffle house southern chain. When you enter Vics you are welcomed by a rush hostess/waitress with a definite Boston twang. We were quickly seated and served coffee while we looked at the menu. Our service was outstanding btw. Our food was the standard waffle house fair. Everything was cooked to order and good. The only negative were cold waffles for everyone. That was disappointing and why they get 4 rather than 5. The parking lot is small but that's not their fault since it's nested in a residential area and there's a small park next to it.
