I expected a full evaluation and to make certain the light had gone out. That wasn't done and Service tech admitted it was his fault. I had to return the next day. I applied for Affirm on Tuesday night, 6/18 and based on my credit score was approved for $8000. However when I attempted to use Affirm, no one was familiar with it and I was declined due to ID verification. I paid ~$2000 out of pocket yesterday 6/17/26, for which I was not pleased. I believe Affirm should have been Beta tested before Customers use it. I have tried to apply for the Care program for monthly payments but an evaluation was required first. That was done on 6/16. I really would like to stay with Christian Brothers but I used them 1 year ago and was not picked up by Shuttle as requested. I had my brother pick me up and drop me off. It seems inter-office communication needs an upgrade. CB seems to be quite Busy which is a good problem as long as positive results occur. As a believer in Christ, CB stands out.

Had to call Roadside Assistance to jump it so I could get to O'Reilly's Auto Parts for a new battery before they closed. They said it was the alternator not the battery. Contacted DFW Mobile Repair and Hamm responded immediately with a price quote to fix it. Set up the appointment for mid-afternoon the next day, July 5th (Sunday, on a holiday weekend). Hamm was certainly knowledgeable, and after testing, said it was BOTH the battery and alternator. He replaced the alternator (which he had brought, having had my prior information as to car and model) and then drove to O'Reilly's nearby for a replacement battery which he then installed. In short, Hamm was responsive, capable, courteous and efficient. DFW saved the day (although I lost most of the holiday weekend with the problem!). Pricing wasn't cheap but was competitive I'd say. Give DFW a shot. Their customer service and mechanical work was outstanding. They also have a shop in addition to their mobile repair service. I will certainly consider them for all my future work! I took it to BB and couldn't believe what I was quoted. They did the repair for half the cost and it took less time than they estimated. After that experience I was sold. They forgot to apply the AAA discount so comped an oil change. My last visit was to replace a shield on the undercarriage. Because it was a quick fix, they didn't charge me for the labor. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the service BB provides. And while it may look like it, I've been assured that having a beard is not required to work there.
