first visit (& the last) restaurant smells like propane & burnt food, hostess didn't greet us, she saw us & then just walked up & down aisles looking at empty tables & finally asked another woman where to seat us, when hostess returned to us she still didn't make eye contact or even say a word & just walked to a nearby table & expected us to follow her, got two all-you-can-eat supreme packages ($32.95 each), veg had zero seasoning (literally zero!), kimchi had zero spice/heat & looked old, pickled daikon had way too much sugar & was sweet (with very little sour), meat (beef, chicken, & pork) was cheap cuts, fatty, & under-seasoned (didn't even have salt/pepper), the "spicy" meat options all had the same saucy seasoning on them & was sweeter than it was spicy (maybe a teriyaki sauce? that burned/blackened to a crisp on the grill plate) & clumped/coagulated into a disgusting texture when cooked, shrimp was head-on & not deveined (all 6 were dirty & had black "veins" & we didn't eat any of them), i think we tried eight different options from the menu to cook & didn't enjoy any of them, three side sauces came automatically (either bland or sweet), had to ask for spicy sauce (chili garlic sauce & sriracha were brought), drinks were on the weak side (whiskey), k-pop music played loudly the entire two hours it took us to eat this subpar meal, waitress was unattentive & unobservant, had to ask for anything/everything we needed (water, napkins, knife, scissors, drinks, spicy sauce, next round of food). a few friends told us it wasn't good & we should've listened. will not go back. read more

Every time we have been there, they have provided excellent service and we always go back and it is an amazing experience. We went yesterday and it was all going normal until the service would come and throw all the meat on the grill, and at first we did not mind this, but we wouldn't even be done cooking the meat and she would come and change the grill and start cooking more meat. We were only about an hour or so in and we had 3 rounds and she came and gave us our check even though we weren't done eating. We still had some few food left and were still eating and she came and told she had to charge us for the extra food but we weren't done eating yet. Once we started paying she came and took the check and she opened it and she went to my friend and was like, if it was good service then 15$, keep in mind we were gonna do the tip 5$ card and then 10$ cash. But she kept insisting and we were on a group of 3, so we know the tip rule about bigger groups. She wouldn't leave the table until my friend put 10$ tip on the check. This is fine if you're ok with a watered down experience. Go somewhere else for more authentic. The food is good, place is clean. But It wasn't awesome. We got the smallest all you can eat. Unlimited sides doesn't actually mean unlimited sides. It means a lot of little things that they won't refill and the good sides you have to pay extra for. The service was slow so my group of 4 sat with no meat waiting multiple times. Coupled with the 2 hour max, this was frustrating. Also there were multiple times the staff held our hand and did things for us without asking first. This might be ok if you are overwhelmed and lost in the giant menu. Overall, not bad but I would rather go somewhere more authentic. read more

I went there for the first Monday July 27th and I was not disappointed. We shared a meal for three and the food was to die for. The wait staff was excellent and very knowledgeable. The only drawback for me was they don't serve coke products only pepsi lol. I drank water lol. I will definitely be back!!! read more

Not sure what the bad reviews are about (and they look like they are from the same group), but we were just here last night and had a great experience. And EVERY AYCE place times you, they can't have people in the restaurant clogging tables and wasting food. But no one bugged us and the serving staff was very pleasant. Variety on menu was great, service was good (it certainly didn't take 30 minutes to get anything), grills were changed frequently, and the portions were great. Normally AYCE kbbq places bring you huge plates of the cheaper stuff to discourage you from ordering more or nicer items on the menu. Not so at this place. Everything was brought in sizes that were just right for a serving and we were able to try 8 or 9 different things between the two of us. Sides were also good. One thing we noticed they don't have is the rice wraps (they do have radish, though). Our server admitted we weren't the first people to ask about them either, so maybe something they can consider adding in the future? Either way, we're happy to have GOOD AYCE kbbq so close to home and will definitely be coming back! read more

Meat is really tender with good seasoning flavor. All pickled vegetables were good too. Prices for all-you-can eat starting @$23 per person. I don't know what happened tonight but it was weird. I have eaten here more than I care to admit and I have never had service like this. I was just going to move on with my day but at the end they did something I'm a little insulted with. So here's what happened. We walk in and they are clearly understaffed and busy and the lady at the hostess stand I have never seen before is running around like a chicken with its head cut off, not the usual organization it is. She was seating people in the wrong order, forgetting who she was talking too etc I don't think this is her usual job. We get seated with in minutes. But then we sit at the table for 45 minutes while watching everyone else in our section get service, waitresses had to have walked by us at least 20 times, always looking at our empty table with a cold grill and not even waters (this is how I know it was not a short staffing issue). We finally flag down the hostess again and to say hey who is our server, because we couldn't get any of the servers to acknowledge us. She apologizes profusely (excuses that it was the servers fault blah blah) then goes to tell one the servers that we haven't been served, and NONE of the servers would give this hostess the time of day. Clearly what happened is we got in the middle of some work place drama and no one wanted to acknowledge the mistake. I think that we weren't supposed to be seated in that section, and I think our server decided to let the hostess figure it out. Once we finally got service, it was incredibly half assed. Bear minimum, no drink refills, not vegetables, no grill change, nothing unless we pulled someone aside for help. And at the very end the server brings us the check and says something I long the lines of "sorry about all that I comped your drink". A $2 soda was the ONLY thing that was compensated. We were not pissy, we were more than understanding, never made a scene, tried our best to be as low maintenance as possible. And the only apology we got was a free soda. Work places have drama I get it, but don't take it out on paying customers. I would have been less insulted if nothing were comped at all, and I wasn't going to ask for them too, but a soda? The single cheapest item they could have given for free, a soda that was never refilled? Give me a break. read more

This restaurant has terrible service, mediocre food, and very strict menu. We tried it twice because we wondered if they would work our issues after a few months of being open and it was equally as terrible the second time around. Our server was extremely rude. bad or shall I say no service. My watress never came around. She was walking around offering everything to the other tables next to ours but would just ignore us. Idk how they can call it "all you can eat" when they're only wiling to give 2 "rounds" every 30 minutes. Don't waste your time here. Go to k Town in Portland cause its not worrh the effort to try to get service here. When the server finally came around she didn't even offer anything except the check oh and let me tell you that when she saw cash on that table she ran. Should have been that happy to actually provide service. Actually she did offer ice cream but I can bet it would have taken another half hour to get that as well. read more

Been here twice already and both times have been an amazing experience. I am so happy they finally have a place like this in Salem because after all, dining out should be an experience. The service, even during these hard times, was really beyond what we asked for.
