I don't know if the baristas are more experienced here but this is my preference than their satellites inside Sprouts. I've never had a bad drink here. My favorite is their cafe mocha paired with their freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Obviously this location has more character with seating inside as well as outside in front (facing Foothill) and in the back. For the past couple months my friends and I have been frequenting this Klatch Coffee location in Rancho Cucamonga rvery other week if not weekly. I have told many family members and friends to visit this location because we always have a great experience, up until now!! Me and my girlfriend love the seasonal rose drinks, and over the past month have been to not only this location, but various others in the area to get those drinks on numerous occasions! Needless to say we know what the Thorns And Roses latte is supposed to taste like. Well, this past Sunday morning on 5/24, we had an experience that left such a bad taste in our mouths both figuratively and literally that we will not be returning! We ordered ahead on the app and when we picked up our lattes they tasted super bitter, which they have never tasted like before. What should've been an easy solution, (remaking the drink and being our on way), turned into a sour experience when multiple associates were rude to my girlfriend about the issue. When she went back inside to tell the cashier the drinks tasted weird, she just stared at her dumbfounded and was unhelpful in getting the problem fixed. The baristas were also rude and talked to my partner like she was stupid, as if she didn't know what the drink should taste like or as if she was lying about it tasting bitter! The attitudes from both men working the barista station were super rude and one of them started explaining the concept of a rose latte to my girlfriend like she didn't know what she was talking about. The whole thing was insulting and unnecessary. It saddens me as I feel the staff here are usually very courteous, welcoming, and provide great service! Unfortunately this experience has scarred both of us and we will not be returning to this location; a place we had grown to love. The coffee was so good. My friend and I were served by Danny and he asked if we had the app and I explained it was our first time coming in. He offered as pastries and we said no thank you but he said they were free. The pumpkin latte really tasted like pumpkin, and there was a delicious hot muffin that tasted exactly like a churro per his recommendation. This is a coffee shop I genuinely love and visit often, just not usually this location. I stopped by because I happened to be nearby, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. I must admit I am disappointed on how you pay, you can usually bypass the TIP portion but this doesn't give you that option. TIPS should be 100% at the digression of the Customer no establishment should make any customer feel like they must give a tip, that is absolutely on them if they want to or not. When I paid with my credit card, I couldn't bypass the tip option. I had to put something in and that definitely leaves a sour taste in my mouth. It's about principal. 17 bucks for a tiny cup of expresso with some toasted coconut milk added to it and a small sandwich. Coffee definitely wasn't worth it. The sandwich was tiny- barely enough to share...I asked for regular sourdough and they gave me jalapeño bread. The service: girl at the register was nice and patient as it was my first time there. Guy who made my expresso was border line rude. He mentioned that they don't do expresso in larger cups with extra milk so i kindly reminded him that I paid for the EXTRA milk... lort forbid HE loses out on profit. Ambiance: average in the inside abs really enjoyed the outside seating. Gets real busy though and they only have a handful of tables outside. Will I bereturning- definitely not. Easily one of the best coffee shops in Rancho! The location is absolutely stunning within the historic winery complex, with a rustic, greenery vibe that's perfect for studying or a weekend hangout! The service is abundant, incredibly welcoming, and always so so helpful in explaining the menu! I also appreciate how small the menu is, so you KNOW you'll get quality!! I get the Matcha... with their HOUSEMADE almond cashew milk... AND OOOOH BOY! I've never been to a place that MAKES their milks, and the almond cashew milk is so incredibly flavorful and creamy. So charming and it's got so much to choose from. Loved the chipotle sandwich and the pecan latte was fire! I was able to work and relax in the front patio area. This place had a lot of potential! It's nice inside, very atmospheric, and the workers are very kind. The coffee was just a little too sweet that I couldn't finish it, and the matcha was even sweeter. Other than the coffee and drinks being too sweet, they lacked the flavor undertones. I ordered something different from my friend, but there was no flavor difference to distinguish the two drinks. Been here during busier days, but lately the service is so slow even when there a few customers. There is no interest from employees or genuine conversation. Everything is very transactional. Barista has an attitude when I said my drink didn't taste like it had syrup. I asked to remake it and he said he can just put the syrup in it. This does not mix well since the drink is complete... The sandwich was a disappointment, seemed like I got something from McDonald's with the ingredients lopsided and spots of just bread.... Music was inappropriate for a family establishment. On the drive home from LA we found this spot by pure luck! It had such a great vibe, lots of different people sitting drinking coffee, chatting, doing work on their laptops, etc. and menu was really unique. I ordered a Creme Brûlée latte and my husband ordered the house mocha. While we were waiting, we noticed a holiday sampler pack of their coffee beans and purchased those as well. The coffee was outstanding! Not sickeningly sweet, but roasty and toasty and caramely.......perfection. We ground those beans the next day for a few shots of espresso. They are SO good! Friendly service: The baristas were engaging and helpful. I'm glad the cashier suggested I try a pastry. The morning glory muffin was excellent. Pricing: I don't know how Klatch manages to keep their pricing so reasonable compared to the other popular roasters in the area. But I'm not complaining. Drinks: I tried a pour over and a matcha latte during the course of my hours long visit. The pour over was great. The matcha latte was ok. By this I mean the matcha flavor was not as pronounced as other places I have visited. Overall: I would definitely return to this location. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Klatch is the local coffee shop whenever I come back to California to visit my family. The ambiance is typically locals who look to be working on something on their laptops, people hanging out over a drink to have conversation, and sometimes a Bible study group who's together on one of the corners. The service is what you'd expect for any other coffee shop. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I sometimes do have coffee and expect good one when I do. Coffee is not the best I've ever tried, but it's a nice place to go to grab a coffee whenever I need a pick me up. There's a place right across the cashier for sipping your coffee as well as some seating area outside. What I docked off a star for was for their scones. Had one together with a blueberry muffin one day, but it wasn't cooked all the way through. Gave my wife a little bit of an upset stomach. read more

Klatch came through in the clutch when i so needed a touch, of the caffeine that i crave so very much. It's the only coffee spot in the area that's open after six for that coffee fix that puts me in the mix. And I just don't say that for kicks. The menu is small and basic but the hot seller here is the iced crème Brûlée latte from what I was told. The drinks comes with vanilla bean syrup and caramel sauce made with breve so that sounded interesting. After that first sip I could taste why people love this drink and it isn't bad at all if you enjoy semi sweet coffee drinks. Next time I'll order it hot to see if there's a difference in taste and I'm sure there will be but until then it's a score. They also have mug service but only if it's available since it's busy here. They have a nice patio area up front and a spacious one in the back. The vibes here feel kinda corporate if you dig and that's my take, Peace. read more

My sweet niece is now working and she really wanted to buy her old Auntie some coffee. I'm like okay okay I'll let you pay for the coffee but I got everything else for the day. She suggested Klatch Coffee so we decided to meet there on Friday after work for me, after school for her. They have plenty of parking from 2 entrances. The back entrance has outdoor seating. The interior has a few seating areas but when we came it was completely full with folks who looked like they are camping out to get work done. We waited in a long line and by the time we got to the front the cashier was really grumpy. I tolerate when people are rude to me but I was really irked that she was being rude to my niece. Instant minus one star! My niece ordered a small hot Hazelnut Latte. Like her auntie, she enjoys latte art. I usually like latte art too but I was looking at the other orders and nothing was impressive... just that basic heart and not even perfect ones. I decided to get a small iced Crème Brulee Latte ($5.50). We also both wanted their Avocado Toast ($7.50) and asked for an added egg ($$). Receipts are not itemized so we don't know how much the upcharge was for that added egg. We both enjoyed our lattes. I have been to their San Dimas location prior and that location has better service, which makes everything more enjoyable. On the other hand, the avocado toast was awfully bland. Before I even had the chance to post this review, fellow yelpers reached out and commented on the idiotic standing cucumber slices sticking up from the toast. Ugh it doesn't look good... and it doesn't taste good either. Did they not season the avocado? The egg was placed underneath the avocado and was also bland. The toast was nothing to rave about either. NOT RECOMMENDED. I would only come back if my niece wanted to meet here for convenience. This is my FAVORITE coffee shop of all time ever and that is saying lotttt. The people here are always so friendly also- the staff def always makes me feel welcomed. That doesn't always happen in Bougie lil coffee shops! They do have plenty of tables and space outside also and I saw people studying and stuff. Now the coffee THE COFFEE!!!! There was a steady stream of busyness while we were there, but drinks were being cranked out in a reasonable time-frame with friendly service. Klatch Coffee is generally solid, but you can definitely tell when they switch up their roast...it's noticeable. Their lattes lean on the milkier side, so I usually have to ask for an extra shot and more ice to get the right balance. That said, I really appreciate that they offer an orange peel option--it's such a game-changer for coffee! On the food side, their breakfast and lunch options are always amazing and super consistent. So let's get to it!; Their drinks are consistent, flavorful and the perfect amount coffee/sweet/ice ratio. The ambience is always a vibe; the music variety blends seamlessly with their coffee. Whether is the jazz boys band playing live outside the back patio on weekends, Bruno Mars or Andrea Bocelli playing chill vibes inside. It's so fascinating watching the entire workforce flow in synchronicity with consistency, while still providing wholesome customer service. Sometimes I sit and sip my coffee quietly on a corner and pretend I'm watching a game of (Sim coffee). Where the coffee shop is making every effort to make angry people happy. And the final boss is "Me" and I make every effort to not be impressed! My favorite custom drink is a small half sweet white mocha, a pump of hazelnut, add shot, half and half and sometimes whip. It's the perfect amount of sweetness for someone who wants to appreciate the coffee a little more than the sugar. And rightfully so! Their espresso is rich and flavorful, with hints of infused flavors. So no need to mask it with too much sweet!
