    Kids lasagna
    Robbie M.

We arrived around 6:00 p.m. on a Sunday. We had a reservation and arrived 5 minutes late for it. But it still took a long time to get taken to a table, and then for our server to come and then to ask us what we wanted. By the time we ordered, it had been more than 30 minutes after we arrived at the restaurant. We had asked for bread, assuming that it was complimentary and that we would get it before a meal, but we ended up having to politely ask for it a few times, before it finally got served alongside our main dishes (about 18 mins after ordering). So all together, we got our food about 50 minutes after arriving at the restaurant! The server did not apologize for any wait. The Parmesan wheel truffle pasta was kind of fun for the experience of seeing them make it next to our table, but the portion size ended up being quite small for $35. The kids meals were a good deal. $11 for chicken, parmesan and $11 for lasagna. Everything tasted good! We found out when we got our bill that the bread cost $6 (four little pieces). We had assumed that it was complimentary because we saw it on other people's tables and it just seemed like that was the norm. When we got the bill and asked our server about it, he said something like "Yes, it's not free." He did not apologize or offer to take it off the bill. ‍

Updated review:I had first visited sometime 3 months ago and my server Justine was amazing. The food was delicious the first time and the service was great so it made me want to go back. Since then I have gone back a few times, with the most recent being yesterday (06/26/2026). Unfortunately this experience did not live up to my previous expectations. I ordered the truffle wheel pasta as I have many times before. I inserted a picture from the first time I had the truffle pasta. Today the truffle pasta was deeply disappointing, I am not sure if the correct cheese wheel was used as the one from today had red lettering on the rind or if the alcohol was not properly cooked out, but the pasta was not edible AT ALL. The cheese ended up being clumpy. The pasta made me gag twice and I could not eat after that. It made me feel unwell for hours after. However, that was not the most disappointing as mistakes happen. I had a reservation today for 4:30 and was sat on the side of the kitchen. My server today was not very attentive. She did not refill our waters once, another server did it for the table. She did not come over to check on us in the hour and a half we were there unless we flagged her down. We had to catch her attention to let her know the issue of the pasta which took awhile as she was not really checking in on the table. Overall today was not a great experience.

Parmesan Pasta alla Vodka with side Salmon

I brought my friend here for dinner and drinks for her birthday since we both enjoy Italian food. The service was nice, they even accommodated our late arrival and seated us immediately. We ordered a cocktail and a glass of Moscato, which were decent and came out quickly. We also ordered the bread appetizer, which was delicious and came with two spread options plus coarse pink Himalayan salt. For dinner, we had the cheese wheel/barrel pasta with a side of vodka sauce, salmon, and spaghetti Bolognese with a side of chicken cutlets. The cheese barrel presentation was beautiful and it tasted fresh-to-order, but the pasta was unfortunately overcooked. Once it's plated, it soaks up the cheese and turns into a heavy, almost block-like texture. The spaghetti Bolognese was decent, but I expected it to be creamier. The chicken cutlets were paper-thin, and for the additional cost I expected a thicker, higher-quality cut. The aesthetics were decent with an open layout, and you can see the kitchen throughout the restaurant, which is a nice touch.

To start off, the servers were really nice and I thought they did great. I went here with some family members. They refilled our water quick but the third time we got our refill the water tasted sparkling without the sparkle. Calamari 2.5/5 $20 This appetizer wasn't bad but the squid were so small and our bowl consisted more of peppers than squid. The consistency wasn't as crunchy as we would like it to be and the taste was a little off to me. For the price, it is not worth at all and this is one I would not recommend. Spinach and artichoke dip 1.5/5 $18 This appetizer was one we were more looking forward to but when we tried it there was no taste of spinach or artichoke. It only tasted like cheese. So if you do like cheese, it's not a bad but it just wasn't the taste we expected. The flatbread that came with it was not bad because the outside was crunchy. I did wish the center was also crunchy as well. Overall, you definitely are not getting what you paid for. Prosciutto and arugula 1/5 $20 If you wanted bread this is basically it. The pizza was flat and just had cheese on top but it was so salty and there was not a lot of prosciutto if they wanted to balance out the saltiness then making the dough thicker for this would be a good move or even adding tomato paste. I ended up dipping the pizza into a pasta sauce because it evened out the saltiness and add more of a spice. (Pasta alla vodka) Pasta alla vodka 3/5 $25 This is one of the two pasta that we thought was pretty good. The pasta texture was pretty good. My sister thought that after a few more bites the cheese became too heavy and she didn't like it as much as the first bite. I really liked the sauce but that was it. Overall, this was one of our top pasta. Spicy Radiatori and Burrata 0/5 $23 This one was probably one of the worst pasta we ate. The pasta was doughy and just really chewy. The sauce couldn't even save this one. The layers was just making it doughy and even when we cut the pasta in small bits it was still chewy. I would not recommended this at all. Chicken Parmesan 1/5 $31 The chicken was dry and the taste was giving freezer chicken refried. The pasta was so salty and it made it really hard to eat. This is another pasta I would not recommended at all. Pasta Brio 3.5/5 $23 This is one of our top rating pasta. At first when I tried it the pasta seemed bland but once it was mixed the flavor it definitely tasted better. The chicken and the vegetable was a great addition and added to the dish. Overall, this was a pretty good dish. Glass Sangria Rosa $13 I wasn't a big fan of this drink because it reminded me of NyQuil. But it could also possibly be because I don't really like berries. My family thought it wasn't bad so I'm thinking it's a hit or miss for people depending on their taste buds. I'm not sure if this was just a bad day or we came at a bad time. I personally won't be going back to this place but if you would like to give it a chance I would say go for it. There is a chance we just didn't order the right things. Overall our food experience wasn't the best and for the price of everything I do wish the quality was better.

Came to Brio Italian Grille expecting a polished Italian dining experience and left seriously underwhelmed. First red flag: no complimentary bread anymore. They now charge $5.99 for it. That alone set the tone. The menus were wrinkled, sticky, and visibly worn, which immediately kills the "upscale" vibe they're clearly trying to sell. My wife and I ordered the Parmesan Wheel Truffle Pasta, Branzino pasta, Brio bread, and mushroom soup. At first glance, the prices seemed reasonable... until you realize none of the pastas include protein. Adding protein is extra & not cheap. Salmon add-on: $15 dry, overcooked, and not worth even half that price Chicken add-on: $9 small, tiny pieces that felt more like a garnish than protein By the time the check came, it felt like highway robbery for the portion size and quality. Honestly, I could've gone to a local hole-in-the-wall Italian spot and gotten a better, more satisfying meal with bigger portions for less money. The Parmesan Wheel Truffle Pasta comes with a little tableside "show" where they melt a block of cheese using alcohol and mix it into the pasta. Looks cool for about 10 seconds, but taste-wise? Overly salty, and you can clearly taste the Everclear alcohol they use. The only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1: our server. He was genuinely attentive, stayed calm when I voiced my concerns, and kept a smile on his face the entire time. Great service can't save bad food, but credit where it's due. End result: an expensive bill, mediocre food, and the realization that this place survives on presentation and location (Victoria Gardens). Definitely not worth the hype or the bill. Would not return.

A better Olive Garden but not a place I would come back to honestly. My husband and I called ahead to get a gist of the wait time and were pleasantly surprised to hear there was no wait. We showed up and were seated right away. Our waitressed showed up rather quickly - this was our first time here so we definitely needed to peruse the menu before deciding. It seemed to bother her that we weren't ready when she asked. My husband only wanted water while I ordered the peach palmer, the peach palmer was excellent with the perfect bit of sweetness. Unfortunately, the way our waitress thumped my drink on our table (made a noise too) you would think I did something to her. We opted to share the calamari, lobster bisque, and the spicy radiatori & burrata pasta. We also got the bread service, which you have to pay for. The bread had a perfect texture and came with whipped butter, olive oil, and some Himalayan salt. It had the best crunch when you bit into it and the whipped butter pair perfectly with it. The calamari was fried well and had a beautiful color but was very hard to chew. I liked that the calamari came with a marinara and white sauce that I think was a lemon aioli but the texture just wasn't good in my opinion. The lobster bisque was pretty salty and not at all sweet. It came by itself and I wish it came with a crunch such as croutons, bread, or even a few sprinklings of lobster. If we hadn't ordered the bread service, I would have hated it. The main reason we ordered the spicy radiatori & burrata pasta was because it was a handmade pasta. The pasta we got looked like a rigatoni. I am not sure if the rigatoni was also homemade but there was no mention about it on the menu. The pasta sauce was great and combined with the burrata, had the perfect amount of flavor and definitely had a little kick. We paid to add chicken but it was definitely very little. Once we got our food, our waitress didn't pay much attention to us. When she finally came back, I wanted more of my beverage and asked for a refill. She did not mention that it would be an addition cost (paying for two of the same drink). She came back with my refill after we had finished our meal and were ready to leave. It was very hard to get our waitress' attention. I saw her talking to employees and being on her phone for 10 minutes. We were going to order dessert but figured that by the time she came and placed our order it would be too late for us. We do not live in the area and had to take traffic into consideration. When our waitress finally arrived to ask us about dessert, I politely let her know we were not interested and to bring the check. She then asked again about dessert to which I said no thank you. I don't think she ever cracked a smile during our entire service here. We paid about $90 with tax for our meal and honestly, probably will not return.

Brío Italian Grille pleasantly surprised this anti chain restaurant snob! I was a bit hesitant when our friend recommended Brio but was intrigued by their claim of "house-made" pasta. And though I'm not certain they make the pasta from scratch on site, every bite of their Parmesan Wheel Truffle Pasta was delightful! The bruschetta sampler and the flatbread were also delicious. My favorite was the Grilled Steak Salad..wow! The salad was a flavor bomb in the best of ways. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and the Gorgonzola, mushrooms and horseradish were a perfect combination with the dressing and other ingredients. I would return just for that salad! Service was incredibly friendly; attentive without being intrusive. The four of us shared all the dishes mentioned above and food was more than enough.

We visited Brio in Rancho Cucamonga to celebrate a friend's retirement, and overall we had a really nice time. Everyone ordered something different. I had the salmon fresco, which I enjoyed, although a few of the sweet potatoes were slightly undercooked. One friend had the lasagna, and the others ordered pasta dishes--one with shrimp. They all said their food was good, but the pasta dishes could have used a little more sauce and seasoning. They did ask for extra sauce on the side, which helped. We all ordered the peach iced tea and lemonade mix (similar to an Arnold Palmer). It was refreshing, but we were surprised there were no refills, especially at $5 per glass. Another change we noticed is that the bread is no longer complimentary. We ordered the Brio fresh bread, which was good, along with the spinach and artichoke dip, which we all enjoyed. Since we were celebrating a retirement, we asked about dessert and found out it's not complimentary--they'll just add a candle if you order one and I think a scoop of ice cream. We ended up skipping dessert. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was nice, service was good, and we had a great time celebrating. Prices are a bit higher than they used to be, but I would still return.

This place has gone downhill! The food was terrible and super expensive for the poor quality. Service was... what service? I get more service at In N Out. Came here for lunch one day and it was a total disappointment, I used to frequent this place before the pandemic. It's been a few years and wow what a change and not for the better. The food tasted like what you would get at Olive Garden, the flavor was bad, the quality of the ingredients was bad. The asparagus we got was poor quality, super dry and I had to spit it out because even after chewing for a long time, it was still like grass and full of fiber! The sauce for the chicken Marsala tasted like it came out of a can. The "handmade" pasta was less terrible, but our server never even offered us Parmesan cheese. Without the cheese the dish was flavorless. Service is none. Our server forgot about us... not once but the entire time. The restaurant wasn't even busy, only 20% full. There's no excuse. She also did our bill wrong in addition to providing ZERO service! Expensive meal that was a complete waste of calories and money. AVOID!

Brio reminds me of an Italian Cheesecake Factory. The dining area is spacious and pretty, and the menu offers a lot of yummy options. I ended up ordering: Spinach & Artichoke Dip Prosciutto & Arugula pizza Bucatini al Fume handmade pasta Everything was tasty and so good! I loved the spinach & artichoke dip so much, I put it on my pizza crust. My favorite of what I ordered was the pizza. Loved the crust and the addition of the arugula. The pasta was also good, but I have had better handmade pasta. Our server was great. He was so friendly and I'm always impressed when servers can remember exactly what you order without writing anything down. Lots of parking is available in the public lot across the restaurant and reservations are available on OpenTable.

Been here twice. Food and ambience were great. We got the bone in rib eye, shrimp and scallop risotto, white peach sangria, and pistachio tiramisu. Customer service was exceptional. I give it a 4 star only because they forgot my side salad and then charged us for it. It got taken off after I let her know. This rating is from the 2nd time I have dined here. This place is great for couples, families and groups. I would dine here again.

Getting together with a couple of friends for Happy shout felt like coming home! So glad they're reopened, and wow, does it look beautiful. to all the folks who brought Brio back to us! We sat in the bar, which included high tops of different sizes to accommodate duos to larger groups. Baseball and football were on the screens, but muted to conversation didn't need to compete with commentary. Because it's in the round, the space is bright and open feeling. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and gave helpful recommendations to my friends regarding a couple options on the HH menu they were curious about trying. Our drinks and dishes came out quickly and were attractively displayed. After a while, a different server brought samples for tasting. Alas, I'm allergic to eggplant, but my friends said the shrimp and eggplant were delicious! Overall, a great first step back into Brio, but definitely not the last.

Brio, Brio, Brio! I am the last person you want to sit at a dirty table. The white table cloth was covered with a white paper table topper. The problem is, they were both soiled. The paper had hair and crumbs, on it and because the tablecloth was slightly exposed, you could see the fresh stains and crumbs from perhaps prior guests. Under normal circumstances, I would have left, however, I was with a friend so I didn't want to be rude, so I just requested a new table and dinnerware. I also didn't want to appear as "that person," so I was hesitant to take pictures since this was our first time dining together. But, then I remembered, I am so that person, when it comes to MY dining experiences, so I took a few pics as discretely as I could. After all, since I prefer to eat at home, every restaurant is indeed a REVIEW. Now, on to the food. I ordered the Shrimp & Lobster fettuccine. It was quite tasty. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the lobster was okay. Personally, I would order the same dish without the lobster if I was to return. I also had a Cobb salad, which very good. The lettuce was crisp, and the toppings complimented it quite well. I don't normally eat salads at restaurants, but I'm glad I ordered it. I also enjoyed a delicious glass of wine. The service was just fine. The waitress did her thing, maintaining a positive demeanor, as she mentioned that her shift was ending. Overall, it was a good visit.

Why is no one answering the phone for a take out order?

I believe they are closed during the corona virus outbreak. I drove through victoria gardens just to check it out and Brio was dark, did not seem there were folks there for take out.

Do they have fettuccine Alfredo or regular spaghetti?

    Hello Lillie. They have both

She took so long to take our drink order after we sat down, that we were ready to order our food when she came around. After she took our drink and food order, we waited 15 mins, and still no drinks. I actually had to ask another waitress for water. When our waitress came by we reminded her about not getting our drinks yet and she copped an attitude and was like "we were busy, yeah I asked someone else to bring the water". Ok. No need to be rude. Thankfully the food was good, so at least that was enjoyable. Our waitress never came by once to check up on us, as we watched other waitresses be more attentive at other tables. Honestly I've had better service at McDonald's. That's embarrassing for a restaurant like The Cut where food prices are not cheap. I'm sure it was just this one individual that was performing poorly, but it left us with a bad experience where we simply don't want to come back, and take our business elsewhere.

I am not easily impressed but I had to have another of that sauce. The only thing I would critique is the beef perhaps could have been sliced. If I tried to take a bite - a bit of the fillet mignon tip would fall out. Minor complaint. The only reason I cannot give a 5 is when I came for lunch on a weekday I noticed no one at the counter while I ate. Some people came and walked out because no one greeted them. I think one guy was on a break and some girl was doing something else. That is the only thing I would say was bad and it did not personally happen to me. The ambiance is nice - I liked the decor but my girlfriend claimed it was a bit much for her. Me personally? I thought it was cool!

The server was patient at the beginning and because we were still looking over the menu, my iced tea took awhile, I'm not sure if they were brewing it or not. When we ordered it took almost 25 minutes to get our food. I ordered a chicken sandwhich and my friend ordered a burger. I never got my iced tea refill. I felt like with us sitting on the patio they kind of forgot about us. I know a family that sat outside ended up leaving. Super cute place. Good food. Just slow service. I will probably give this place another try if I am ever in the area.

The rolls came very saucy, and most plates had an aesthetic appearance. Personally, if I were to ever revisit this location, I'd only order the garlic noodles w/ shrimp & the nigiri. For this review, I will focus on the Lobster Tail Roll ($36), Gyoza ($14), and Monaka Ice Cream ($7). I arrived at Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) on Sunday (around 12:50PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE. I had a reservation for 1PM, but a reservation felt superfluous since the restaurant was VERY empty. Throughout the entire dining experience, I only noticed one other group arrive. Staff is the HIGHLIGHT! Staff (receipt says JoJo) was the MAIN superstar. JoJo charmed the table; JoJo maintained a professional, kind demeanor; and JoJo worked very hard. JoJo gave excellent recommendations, and JoJo maintained a friendly, bright smile throughout our visit. Regarding food, it felt inconsistent. The food in the beginning was plated elegantly and carefully. However, as time progressed, it felt like the kitchen was beginning to rush despite the lack of customers. Food arrived very slowly, and later plates looked a little splattered and untidy. Thankfully, most of the food was very good. It's a journey of texture, fresh ingredients, and light & bright flavors. The Lobster Tail Roll ($36) had fried lobster bits, asparagus, avocado, masago, eel sauce, and mayo. It tasted like a vegetable roll at times. The Gyoza ($14 - 6 Piece) was panfried with seasoned pork and vegetables. Tasty!! And the Monaka Ice Cream ($7) is tiny with Macaroon Shell and a small scoop of Green Tea Ice Cream. All in all, these dishes didn't feel special, but they were prepared well enough. On ambiance, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is very attractive. The location is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. However, the music is awkward at times. There were moments where light, lovely music was playing... only for random yelling music to briefly appear... to then suddenly be replaced with a country-style song. It all felt surreal. I don't think it was intended, but I think their music playlist was accidentally switched to the wrong track. Overall, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is an interesting experience. Honestly, the only reason this review is "5 Stars" is because our waitress was EXEMPLARY. Although the ambiance and cooking staff was lackluster, the front of house is MAGIC. This is a not bad, pricey place. 4.5 out of 5

My bestie and I had the best time here! I called to let them know and they were completely understanding! When we arrived, we were greeted and seated promptly. Waters were brought to the table quickly as well. The decor in this place is amazing! They were also playing really good music! We started with the combination carpaccio which was perfect because we each got to try the tuna, salmon and yellowtail. It was delicious! Then we ordered the Surf & Turf roll which is spicy crab and coconut shrimp, topped with seared Wagyu, truffle oil yuzu, and eel sauce--absolutely incredible! Next was the Kuwada roll which is crab, avocado and tempura flakes, topped with baked lobster, eel sauce, and masago. The presentation on this one was extraordinary--and the flavor was amazing! Finally we finished with the Shrimp Lover Roll which is crab shrimp tempura and cucumber, topped with shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo, and eel sauce--another winner! Jojo did an excellent job serving and clearing plates, as well as keeping our water filled! This place is a treasure and I can't wait to go back!

Our hostess was kind and checked in on my reservation. The food was a mixed bag - the house sauce was a bit bland, but the habanero sauce was delicious, with just the right balance of tanginess and heat. My friend ordered a plate of nachos for the table, which came with chicken that, oddly, didn't taste like chicken. It was almost as if it had been cooked in the same area as the fish, but it was still edible. Our server, Priscilla, was very attentive, checking in frequently and keeping the good beers flowing, even on a busy game night. The carnitas were good, but we'll try something else next time. The atmosphere was great, and Mexico's win was a bonus - we might be back to catch another game.

The way it was going to be prepared was with spring mix, which I don't prefer. I asked for a spicy skinny margarita, and they were able to accommodate me for that as well! Yummy! The reason for the four stars is because the parking lot is extremely dark and sketchy looking. Unfortunately, I don't feel safe outside there. I feel like it could easily be fixed with an investment in better lighting outdoors.
