Ahh, Klatch. This place might be good enough to replace my usual Starbucks. (And I'm not just saying that just because I lost my Starbucks gold card, and in the process of having a new one mailed to me, they removed all my funds from the one on my phone and put it on the new card which won't get mailed to my house for another three or four weeks.) Came in with Christina C. one morning. The atmosphere is typical of a normal coffeehouse. If someone were to blindfold me and bring me in here, I honestly would've thought this was just another Starbucks. Fortunately, their drinks say otherwise. I decided to follow all the Yelp reviews and ordered a large creme brûlée latte. REALLY good! Definitely reminiscent of a creme brûlée, and fortunately not overly sweet like I thought it would be. However, I'll be sure to opt for a smaller size in the future. Once you're halfway done, you'll feel guilty for getting a large size. Staff is friendly. The cashier, Jen (I believe), answered a couple of my novice coffee questions right before I ordered. Prices are alright for coffee. They're a bit on the higher side, but their drinks are pretty upscale. Not to mention, prices are on the same level as Starbucks, so if you're like me, you'll realize it's not that bad. In conclusion, I wish I found out about this place sooner! I just may make this place one of my usual spots. read more

Was out in the area from OC and yelped best coffee..SO glad we found this place. Tried the peppermint mochoa on ice. Think they said it was inhouse made peppermint syrup. Regardless, it was AMAZING!!! So refreshing. It's my favorite drink at Starbucks and I've been looking for last few months for a non chain that does it right. Finally I found one. Mmmmm. My favorinte...The Patio Shake. You could possibly be hooked for life. There is no other coffee house that has anything close to this. Vanilla ice cream blended with two shots of espresso, and crunchy secret ingredient (I have it on good authority, so shhhh....smashed oreo cookies). Creamy. Rich. Bitter-sweet. Explodes with flavor. Cold. Topped with whipped cream. Then you go over to the bar and sprinkle cinnamon, cocoa powder, chocolate bits, whatever) to make it over the top good. So perfect for a hot day, or for that matter, any day. Then, go buy some of their perfectly roasted espresso beans, and try to duplicate it. Nope, its better coming from them. I was excited to try Klatch seeing that they apparently have high standards for the coffee they use and roast. Unfortunately for me, while I can tell that the coffee is good quality, for some reason it makes me jittery rather than giving me a good euphoria. The Pacamara and the breakfast blend I bought and made at home are smooth and flavorful, but just don't agree with me. Even worse, the cappuccino I had here was very bitter. I hoped for more since the baristas seem to be trained by a champion barista. And reading other reviews the way espresso is pulled here seems to be an occasional issue. Service was friendly and great. The shop itself is welcoming and has plentiful seating. I recently tried a cappuccino at another shop which used Klatch, and it was much smoother. But this is when I realized that for some reason Klatch beans don't work for me. Just a personal thing. They dont take amex and require $5 minimum for credit. read more

Stop! Put down that Starbucks cup and come get yourself some real coffee. Klatch Coffee has some of the highest quality imported coffee I have tasted in a long time. They have the typical coffee brews available everywhere; but they also have some very unique varieties, such as the Javalicious Shake, The Chippuccino, which is like a Cappuccino on chocolate steroids, the Javalanche, which is a lowfat vanilla blended coffee, among many others. They also offer healthy food options, and fresh-baked pastries. If it's your first time there and you're not sure what to get, I highly recommend trying the Javalanche, which isn't very strong or overly sweet, and a warmed up Cinnamon Twist, which is wonderfully light and flaky, with a perfect balance of sweetness and cinnamon flavor. And don't worry, they'll warm it up for you. However if you're feeling adventurous and need a caffeine-kick, I suggest you try one of their house blends, which tend to be stronger and more exotic in nature. This review is solely for the customer service, although everyone was polite, there was one customer in the shop that had already ordered and myself.. I put my order in at 1:46 pm , waited a few, another customer came in, ordered , and then I watched the girl start my drink, after it had already been a few minutes and there were no other customers in line, another customer came in to order so macy walked away from the blender that my drink sat ready in, took their order, retrieved a curbside order and brought it out to someone's car, while she was outside her coworker noticed and poured my drink and gave it to me... I walked out at 1:59... I understand it being a smaller more intricate coffee shop but 15 mins for ONE blended drink with one customer waiting in front of me... it would be nice for them to focus on one customer to get everyone out in a timely manner vs starting one thing and not finishing it before starting another, if you're not proficient in multi tasking, don't. read more

My co-workers have been raving about this place and I am so glad I was finally about to go! The drinks here are SO good. First off, I love that they have a huge selection of take-home coffee beans to buy there. There is a good variety of different coffee from everywhere around the world. A great present for any coffee lovers out there! I ordered the creme brulee latte and it was just the perfect amount of sweetness for me. I love my drinks really sweet though, so if you do not have a sugar tooth, I would recommend the other drinks. It had a really nice design on the top and you can tell the baristas put in a lot of effort in every drink that they make. The prices are a little on the higher side, but I do not mind paying a little more for better quality drinks. Service is great and they don't hurry you to order or anything. Klatch Coffee or Coffee Klatch as it was once upon a time. Arrow Hwy offramp off the 57 in San Dimas, same plaza as Target and TJ's. I don't know why it's taken me so long to come here, probably because the outside is so incredibly understated looking. You can't even call this a hidden gem anymore, it's one of the better coffee holeups in the area, people hookup for free wifi... Definitely a better alternative to the mermaid if you're in the area. My initial impression is that the place has a nice vibe and is populated with local coffee connoisseurs, it's nice to not be a line full of teens and young adults holding up the line ordering a bunch of blended drinks; I doubt that Americano is even in their vocabulary. Don't jump all over me for calling the (coffee) kettle black, but I stop short of calling it hipster-ish... I'm not a purist like the missus, I usually take cream and sugar in my coffee, probably to the dismay of my doctor but I enjoy the soothing taste of a nice cup of joe. So far I've tried the Mexican Mocha which had bits of actual chocolate in it and was not overly sweet, but lacked a spicy punch from cinnamon or cayenne that I was expecting. Perhaps I could have added cinnamon on my own or asked them to make it spicy. I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable, particularly about the beans... They change-up the menu regularly, offering seasonal coffee drinks. I'm game for a gingerbread latte and I'm curious about the Horch-atte. I had the pour over Costa Rican. This review is just for the coffee. My small cost $4.50, which is expensive for a watered down cup of Joe. One person took the 12 oz container of beans already pre measured, I assumed. I asked why it was packaged like that, just left out in the open. I doubt those packages Re air tight. Anyways, grind it, and pre wet the filter. Another guy, doused the shit out of the Hario Buono. What's the point of using a Buono if you're going to pour everything at once? Why not use a clever? They sell it. At least he bloomed it for the first few seconds and then doused it like it was on fire. Any who, yes I'm snobby. I like my coffee, no I'm not a hipster. My review is only for my experience of how they made it and taste. I don't mind paying a lot if people take the time to make it with accuracy and not state "it helps us when we get busy to have those containers." I don't care if you won second place or 8th for espresso for the barista cup in 2003 or 2007, unless that person is making my coffee, then ok. Yelpers recommended the patio special. Now its my new favorite coffee. I entered this really clean place around 9am and I found people reading and sipping coffee in peace. I was greeted with a warm smile and "hello" by a friendly worker. For $5 the patio special is like the caramel frap at Starbucks but for adults. It's really good and very hard to pinpoint the flavors. It has a really smooth coffee, toffee, deliciousness. It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet where I Also comes with whip cream. Real whip cream, not that cheap plastic tasting crap. The REAL THING. I forgot how good real whip cream tasted. Downside: it gets expensive for fancy coffee. read more

Location: I really like how such a hip place can be so close to where I go grocery shopping (aka Target) and a cheap little pizza shop by the name of Little Caesars. Who would have thought a cool coffee shop corner would be located next to so many main chain businesses. Environment: This place isn't too noisy and isn't too quiet. It's just right to lounge around and hang out. I would both study and bring friends here. Food: My SO and I ordered from the seasonal menu; my SO getting the Sweet Shot and myself getting Real Pumpkin Latte. They were both good drinks and would definitely order the Real Pumpkin Latte again. The only reason why this place doesn't get five stars instead of four is because my SO's drink had too much ice and not enough drink. Had Klatch bookmarked for so long that I almost forgot they exist until I pulled up Yelp when I was in the area for work. Although I already had a donut earlier in the day and have well exceeded my sugar intake, I decided to grab an iced Creme Brulee Latte to accompany me on the ride home anyways. I am so glad I made a stop because the latte was yummy! It was rich, creamy and not overly sweet. The drizzle of caramel around the cup gave it just the right amount of caramel flavor. I would definitely be back to try their blended drinks. The Patio sounds and looks delicious. Their pastries especially the scones also look very good and hopefully I will be back in the area soon. One thing to note is that they do have a small charge for credit card transaction under $5. Oh. My. God. The coffee is so BOMB. I've been hanging out a lot at coffee shops lately. It's a little more relaxing to study there than the old library at cpp. Lol. Decided to drive down here since it's something different than most of the other coffee shops I frequent in the area. Finding the place is pretty easy. It is a bit on the smaller side, and was fairly packed when I went it. I was unable to grab a seat & study :( the decor is pretty cute. The staff here is pretty sweet and friendly. The guy was asking me what I studied & seemed very nice. I decided to order a large Iced creme brûlée coffee. Holy crap. This is AMAZING. It's like liquid crack. It's pretty much iced coffee with caramel but hot damn. I don't know how they make it, but it's absolutely delicious! You can taste the coffee and caramel. It's a beautiful symphony of flavors. I downed it within 20 minutes! I immediately wished I bought another one. This is a cute little coffee shop in the San Dimas area. I wish it was a little closer to me, but I'm definitely think it's worth the drive from my university. I highly recommend the iced creme brûlée coffee. Great coffee, cute shop, sweet staff. Sometimes the local coffee shop is the best place to unwind or do homework. Klatch was just that place for me. Sometimes the overbearing smell of Starbucks and the amount of people are unpleasant. The locale feel of Klatch made me feel right at home even though I'm not from the area. They are really friendly and helpful in selecting the right drink for your taste. Coffee tasted really rich and the selection of blends were really great. I just wish there were more places to sit! I went here for the 1st time today. I definitely won't be going to Starbucks anymore when I'm in San Dimas. The pastries were DELICIOUS!!!!!! We ordered the Cinnamon Twist and the Cappacino Muffin. The server suggested dipping the Cinnamon Twist into our coffee, and we followed her advice - WOW! So gooooood! The Cappacino Muffin probably was the best muffin I've ever eatten before. It was so moist, fluffy, not too sweet, full of flavor, and the muffin top was nice and crunchy. I highly recommend going to Klatch Coffee just to eat this muffin! I'll definitely be coming back here more often. We ordered a cappacino and decaf cafe latte. Both seemed not as Starbucks, so if you want your coffee lighter, you'll like the coffee here. Only qualm I have is if you have the coffee for here and served in the ceramic cups, the cups are kind of small. At Starbucks, you get a MUCH larger cup. read more

I always wanted to give this place a try and finally got to a chance to. It was my first time here so i appreciated the baristas friendliness and patience with me when I asked for recommendations. I personally like drinks that are more creamy/milky, and she recommended the oat milk Capp on tap (cute name). It was definitely lighter than I expected, not watered down, but just a lighter coffee. It was tasty, something I wouldn't necessarily sip on for a long time, but actually drink like juice. It's not a drink that feels heavy. I wouldn't mind if the coffee or milk flavors were stronger. The other drink I tried was the salted caramel cold brew with foam on top. The foam was tasty, light and airy with a hint of vanilla, but again the coffee itself was pretty "light" in flavor. I purchased a pack of the Panama Elida Natural Catuai beans to try, I'm excited to see how it will taste. Overall, I'd recommend this place to someone who likes their coffees on the lighter tasting side. The staff here were great. Inside a plaza with free parking lot. read more

Klatch Coffee has been a staple coffee stop for my wife and me. Their service and coffee are both amazing. I have been a regular for the last 3 years. Every time I have visited any of the locations at Klatch I have been warmly welcomed by their knowledgeable staff, served some of the best coffee I've had, and left excited about the thought of my next visit. The facility has always been clean. Espresso bar, lobby, and restrooms have been well stocked and regularly cleaned. I enjoy their uncompromising quality and attention to detail with their roasting and drinks. This is one of the best coffee shops in not just in the inland empire but in Southern California. This is my favorite Roaster and Coffeehouse. Their staff is helpful and friendly. They have superior coffees (check them out online in Kenneth David's coffee reviews. I've never seen more 90+ reviews than at Klatch, and they are small roaster compared to most). One of their guys, Todd, won the U.S. Brewers Cup Championship this year (and then went on to Italy to place 8th in the World Championship in Italy.) You can order their roasted (or Green!) beans online. they roast locally here in Upland. Heather, one of the family-owners (and also a national champion barista) mentioned they are moving the roasting to Rancho Cucamonga. They have 3 locations (Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, San Dimas) but this is the largest and possibly my favorite. But about the important stuff. Best cappuccino's anywhere. Sweet and Bright. Lots of other delicious foods (sandwiches, coffee cake...). I love their Nitrobrew ice coffees, especially when their East Africans are available.Try their BruBar Geishas (Geishas are crazy expensive so I do this once or twice a year...but it is always worth it). At the end of the day I keep coming back for the cappuccino. Better than Intelligentsia. Better than Stumptown. Yea...that good !! read more

Finding my fun little coffee shops on a trip is my favorite thing to do. This location however would not be what I would call a cozy, clean place with good coffee. The inside was cold, and packed and the bar area we did find to sit was dirty as well as th. We ordered food because we had a long day ahead of us and even though the sandwich was pretty good I wasn't impressed with the dirty for I got that was sitting right on top of the food.
