I've came here a few times and the taste of their drinks have never disappointed me. Make sure to check in because you get $1 off a seasonal drink ! ~Location It's located in the same plaza as target, but this plaza is huge so it's on the far end. Parking has never been a problem for me because the lot is big enough to always have parking. ~Service The people who work there are super awesome and friendly, no complains. ~Cleanliness Overall, the place was very tidy. The counter & tables were all spotless. ~Drinks My special friend & I ordered from the seasonal menu. I ordered the sweet shot ($3.95). It was a double shot of klatch espresso shaken with condensed milk, served over ice. And my special friend ordered the real pumpkin latte ($4.70 small) which was made with klatch espresso & sweet milk. My drink was super delicious so I finished it in probably less than 10 minutes just to find out that two-thirds of it was just ice. I was pretty upset about this. A corporate chain, but in a good way. A nice alternative to Starbucks. I loved the decor. Lots of white, lots of wood, with accents in kid's-crayon colors. The overall impression is very clean and professional. My latte was just the way I like it. I've been trying out new coffee bars lately, and so far, this was the single best-tasting coffee. They use a somewhat different plastic lid, with a hole in the middle so the aroma can reach your nose. I think it actually did make the coffee taste better! (Though, if it tipped over, it would spill more. Life is full of trade-offs.) The menu includes not only coffee, but also breakfast items, like egg-based sandwiches and avocado toast. Prices were about the same as anywhere. Service was friendly. If it wasn't a 15-minute drive from my home, I'd become a regular. read more

After a few bumps, it seems like Klatch has addressed some of the issues I've encountered and really maintained their spot as the best coffee shop in the area. We love their sandwiches and order from them online almost every week. You must try anything with avocado, you won't regret it. They also have the most creative drinks seasonally, but their standard drinks are consistently the best. I also buy all my beans from them to enjoy at home on my siphon. They were really friendly as I walked through the door. I ordered the Mexican Mocha, as I had been discussing it and the Mayan Mocha from Peet's with a Yelp friend. It wasn't expensive, and the person behind the counter asked if I wanted it hot or cold. I wanted it cold. They had a few drink orders in front of mine, so it was a while. Three people were working but only one seemed to be making drinks. It was interesting to watch her working the ingredients. Mine was ready and I immediately managed to turn it on its side but without major spillage. (Ask me about bouncing a Coca-Cola glass across a hard tile floor without damage.) The person on the other side of the counter used a towel to get that side and I noticed more and asked her for the towel, so I could get the rest. Ugggh. I got a straw and didn't cause any problem and hurried outside. As I tried the coffee, it was granular. Apparently, the mocha bits were not able to be dissolved completely. I see it occasionally with some coffee places. The taste was good but it wasn't as great as I had hoped. read more

I think I am quite particular with coffee, but I am no connoisseur. Klatch has such eclectic offers of coffee beans, reminds me of the hipster coffee shops like intelligentsia. I had a Ethiopian brew, it was really earthy and the acidity really comes through. Adding milk just really tames that acidity, but I do not prefer it, unfortunately. I guess I should stick to more American/Asian beans!! They have pour over styles, brew, espresso, almost any way you want it! If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stop by. read more

I visit Klatch about 3x a week and have been doing this for 2 almost three years and I visit all 3 of their stores (Rancho, San Dimas, and Ontario). I live this place and i often rave about how good their coffee and espresso are and how great their staff are. However lately they've had quite a bit of turnover and what is seemingly an uptick in their business. I feel their espresso drinks are pretty inconsistent now. I won't mention any names but certain baristas are consistently excellent and some are mediocre at best. In San Dimas I was rather irked as after waiting 15 minutes my traditional cappuccino finally arrived only to be 3/4 full with poor loose microfoam, while it should have been full to the brim with dense thick microfoam. After already waiting 15 mins I couldn't wait longer for a remake so I just sucked it up and just took it. Last weekend i went to the Rancho store for lunch. Ordered the espresso lime coffee cocktail. I saw someone order it before me so I did the same. Mines came out different from the person before me as it was made by a different barista. It was missing the mini straw. Not a big deal I thought but when I got to the bottom third of my drink, all the simple syrup was left in stirred. So damn sweet can't drink it so I just threw it away. Now I know why they give you that mini straw. read more

It's been almost 2 years since I was last here but this past weekend's visit was just as good as I remembered Klatch to be! The friend who introduced me to Klatch is a total coffee connoisseur. Though they are called Klatch Coffee, their signage says Coffee Klatch and are located right next to Little Caesar's. Seasonal Bee's Knees Latte (lg) Latte (lg) They only serve drinks in 2 sizes, small and large. No medium sizes here! I am one who will always try something new, even though I may or may not like it. So I went for it and ordered the Bee's Knees Latte. There is a nice subtle taste of honey and orange. Very smooth and very balanced. Love how there is never any bitter aftertaste after each sip. Seating here on a Sunday afternoon was very limited. Maybe one seat here or there at one of the long tables. Right now, they also have a newest blend of three African beans: Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda. Good quality coffee and not too expensive. Perfect balance of flavors and smoothness! P.S. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Being a Cal Poly student, this place often saves my life as it is only a 10-minute drive from school. After being a Starbucks addict for several years in high school, this place definitely an upgrade (now I can't drink Starbucks coffee anymore). The coffee quality here is very on point and the staff is very friendly. I love ordering the mocha and cappuccino and their seasonal drinks. I recently had their Chile Caramel Latte and man did the spice kick me in the back of the throat! I recommend trying that seasonal drink if you're a spice lover--if not the spice may kill you a little. Besides drinks, they also sell a good variety of beans grown from different places. They also have a lot of art from local artists displayed in the store. They even have live music on selected days! read more

Since they changed the management of this place over a year ago. It seems like it continues going down the hill. The employees are so rude and they make the most horrible comments. My husband received an email for Veterans Day; they would be honoring a cup of coffee for free. My husband went there and the cashier acted offended by it. She even said " I don't know; I don't celebrate that" then the barista said the code is in the flyer. And continually saying "we don't like guns so we don't celebrate it" I understand people have their opinions. But you are working costumer service in a coffee shop and there is a flyer. So why to make comments like that and being so rude and disrespectful. This is not the first instant that the cashiers are acting so rude. Past months, the cashiers either act like they hate their job. Or they made smart as comments offending other people. Even the baristas give half empty lattes. Two different instances I had it to complaint about it. It's getting ridiculous. read more

Besides Dripp in Chino Hills, this is my go-to weekend coffee place. Starbucks is just not my cup of tea and I've been pretty unhappy since Peet's coffee closed near my area. If you have a sweet tooth like me, you should definitely try the following: creme brulee latte honey bee latte white mocha latte Now, if you really want something dessert like, you must try their "patio special" which is like a shake. Ice cream, shots of espresso, and I'm guessing oreos?? Well whatever it is, I prefer mine without the whip cream. It is oh so delicious and not overly sweet. A must try if you feel you deserve a treat. I've also tried their tomato and cheese breakfast melt and turkey sandwich melt and both have been tasty. If you want something with your morning coffee, I recommend their cinnamon twist or cappuccino muffin, warmed up :) As for the service, don't expect to get your coffee as quick as you may get it at Starbucks or Coffee Bean. I've had my order messed up a couple of times and even change from a $10 bill not given to me. The cashier immediately closed the register and continued on to other work. I had to call him back to remind him. I just give the benefit of the doubt that it's pretty busy and there are a lot of orders but still. My friend took me here for a morning cup of joe and I decided to get a tomato melt as well. I got a large iced americano, which was a bit acidic for my taste, but I still enjoyed it! The Tomato Melt was more like an open faced sandwich. a few slices of tomatoes with provolone cheese on a onion bagel. It was a little bit on the soggy side, probably because it was in my to-go container but still! It's cheese! It was a busy Sunday morning, but that didn't stop the employees from being friendly and knowledgable. I observed an interaction with one of the baristas on bar with a customer that deserves praise. The customer came to the hand off bar to grab her specialty drink, the coconut lime one. The girl looked at the drink and gave her friend a puzzled look. In the midst of the madness, the barista on bar looks up and asks the girl if she had had the drink before. Girl says no, and the barista proceeds to tell her why the drink is crafted that way and how to drink it. I liked that she did in a non-condescending way and this way the customer is educated without feeling stupid. Kudos you guys! read more

I LOVE coffee, but not super knowledgeable about it (yet). I like how this place is local and features unique coffees and roasts from around the world. My friend and I didn't venture too far out on the flavor profile for our 1st time here (we got the ICED LATTE and ICED COFFEE), but whatever was brewed to make our coffees tasted strong with bold/deep flavors, which I personally enjoy in my coffees. As for the food, I recommend the VEGGIE SANDWICH. It was freshly prepared and tasted great. It came with 2 types of cheeses of your choice, sprouts, avocado, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, onions, and mustard. My friend had the CAPRESE PANINI, which she was thought was just ok. Sandwiches come with a juicy pickle. I wouldn't recommend studying or doing school work here, which was the reason why we came here in the first place. The wifi is slow, shotty, and goes out quite a bit. It got to the point where we got frustrated with the wifi and ended up leaving after about an hour and a half there. As for tables, there is one large rectangular table that seats 6+ people and a round table that seats about 5 people. There is a couch that can seat about 3 people and 2 arm chairs. There are about 3-4 high tables to seat 2 people each and about 2-3 square tables that can seat 4 people each. There are also about 4 bar seats next to where they make coffee. There are plugs here and there. Others details: there is plenty of parking, it's easy to find, it has close access to the 57 freeway, and the baristas are helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. I also think the ambiance is nice to grab some breakfast and read the morning newspaper, but not the best place to get some school work done or surf the internet. read more

Klatch coffee is a pretty unique coffee shop. I came here to study for a couple hours and was extremely pleased with the stores ambiance and modernity. The staff is really on point with their friendly service and knowledge about their coffee. The cashier made a clear effort of knowing my name and personality, which you don't see very often. Not only do they tell you clearly how their coffee tastes, but also how it's made and why it's so unique. It was actually pretty impressive how enthusiastic these guys are about coffee. I was recommended the Christmas blend which at first tastes kind of funky, but after a couple more sips it grew on me. It has a very subtle coffee taste and strong sweet tint of cherry and peach. I would recommend it to anyone who likes coffee on the sweet side. I also got two cookies, the chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin. Very delicious cookies! Usually I'm a die hard chocolate chip cookie lover but the oatmeal raisin took the win at klatch. One thing that bothered me was the $5 minimum for card usage. I had to put $5 on a klatch card but atleast I'll be coming back! Enjoy! read more

What a cute place! Walked in and was greeted by all the sweet baristas. I told them it was my first place and they offered suggestions based on my preferences of coffee. They were super friendly and kept smiling at my 1 year old son. He was totally hamming up the attention. They also recommended some toasts. i ordered a blended mocha and the almond butter toast to go. The mocha was delicious! Not too sweet and smooth. Very refreshing and gave me enough caffeine. The almond toast was THICKLY coated and they did not spare anything with the bananas. It was covered! Also drizzled with a healthy share of honey. Delicioussssss. My favorite is the Lavender Iced Latte which unfortunately is a seasonal drink. I wish they would make this a permanent item on their menu. My other go to on the menu is the hot mocha with almond milk and whip. But they started making their almond milk in house which drastically changed the taste. Now I opt for the iced vanilla bean. I love the Thai Chi Latte, Mexican Mocha and trying a cup of something from their special menu is always good. Baristas are a little slower than those "other coffee shops," but they make up for it in their service. Atmosphere: It is never super crowded here; we can always find a seat, even if it's for a few minutes. I love that they bring in local artists to showcase work; it adds charm to the place.
