The owner didn't mention ay additional charges. When I went to the shop , the owner told me I need to pay additional $40 dollars for oil recycling which is not mentioned on the groupon website. I told him I can accept the charge and I need the receipt with the $40 additional charge to follow up with groupon about it. The owner said I am not interested in the deal anymore and asked me to leave and get a refund from groupon. I also noticed the owner increased the break fluid flush price on groupon from $160 to $240 after I left the shop today. It's a really bad experience for customers that the owner can change his mind and reject the service. Update for owner's review below "a vehicle that is directly not covered in the advertisement" , groupon adversisement doesn't mention any special vehicle price. After the owner told me to charge additional $40, I was confused and later accepted the charge while telling him to get the receipt for reference then I can follow up with groupon. After that, the owner refused to do the service. I guess the owner don't want his practice to be exposed to groupon. The owner could have listed the additional charge on the groupon website in the beginning to let customers be clear about all the cost. " TheThe individual came in with a vehicle that is directly not covered in the advertisement. We told him it would be an additional $20 and there was also $20 for hazardous waste because the Groupon does not cover exotic Europeans he's on here acting like a child and leaving negative reviews I offered to work with him but he was combative and at that point we had asked him to leave do the safety constraints of the business and our employees. I had the time though, so I stuck around and waited a bit before they were able to squeeze me in for the smog check (less than 30 min wait). The service was super quick and all the employees I interacted with were professional and polite. I'll likely be back next time I need service or a smog check (but with a phone appointment)!

The shop did admit fault and agreed to pay, but I'm still waiting on the check he gave me to process in my bank, which has been frustratingly slow. What makes it worse is how avoidable this was. This isn't a complex custom job--it's a basic exhaust install that any competent shop should be able to handle without issues. Damaging a fuel tank is a serious mistake, not just a small slip-up. Just putting this out there so others are aware. If you're planning to get work done here, especially on a newer car, I'd be cautious and ask a lot of questions upfront. Really disappointing experience overall for something that should've been quick and simple. On top of that. Now I gotta wait for my car to get fixed and find a new place to install H pipe. Dude talks too much as well
