He seemed to carefully measure the refrigerant going in. He measured the unusually long lines to accommodate requirements. Before cleaning up he measured the coolness coming out of the vents and we were both happy it was 55 F degrees. This is the second time we used them and were pleased with the service both times. Cost was what we expected and we were very happy with the experience both times. They've become our go-to AC service for our mini-split systems.

Never rushed and always doing a complete tune-up on our unit, both inside and outside. Not once have they suggested further equipment purchases or service contracts. Have known Shane Roye, the owner for many years and quite literally, trust him with anything we own. Good strong Christian man and family. I was appalled at the only review showing one star - what was this guy thinking? This is, without a doubt, the best heating and air conditioning service group we have ever known or been in contact with. They have always been respectful of both myself and my wife. No tracking of mud or dirt into the house - boots left outside. We are thrilled to have them take care of our air conditioning and heating unit.

Smart homeowners monitor the health of…read moretheir air conditioning and heating (HVAC) systems carefully and spend a little money on preventive maintenance. I like to think that I fall into that "smart homeowner" category. When I bought my current home over a decade ago, the home inspector reported that the HVAC system was the cheapest and lowest quality system on the market and although it was working fine and only five years old, I should plan on replacing it sooner rather than later. MOST HVAC companies I contacted took one look at the system and said they really didn't want to maintain it and recommended immediate replacement. I had just bought a house, my job wasn't all that secure at the time, and I had other expenses - spending thousands of dollars on a new HVAC system when the existing one was working fine was out of the question. So I found Environmental HVAC and its owner - Mark Ford. Mr. Ford was more than willing to maintain my system. I had him come out twice a year - once at the beginning of "Air Conditioner Season", and once at the beginning of "Heater Season". Every visit, he would pronounce my system healthy and maybe make a small adjustment or two - always at a reasonable price. There was NEVER a sales pitch for a new unit. After more than a decade of these visits, I concluded that my low quality HVAC system was living on borrowed time and I needed to replace it before it picked a hot Summer weekend to die. Environmental HVAC installed a new Ruud system in less than one day. They showed up on time and ready to work. Their trucks were 100% stocked with everything they needed. They laid down tarps over my hallway flooring to protect it from damage. They minimized the time that they had the power to my house off during the electrical part of the installation. The installation itself complied with all local codes and was of very high quality. They cleaned up THOROUGHLY after the installation was done. They walked me through the on-line warranty registration for my system. They thoroughly tested the new system and replaced the new thermostat with another one when it looked like the first thermostat might have a defect. The final price was exactly as quoted and was competitive with lower bidders. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE LOW BIDDER FOR A NEW HVAC SYSTEM, call someone else. If you are looking for a high quality system installed properly by licensed professionals who will respect your home and privacy - Environmental HVAC is THE PLACE! This is a locally owned and operated business that has been serving its customers with high quality parts and labor for decades - I urge my fellow Yelpers to support it!

    We are absolutely grateful for Texas Air & Heat…read more 5 stars for customer service and 5 star repair. For some context, my husband and I are first time home buyers. We just bought this home and have done some repairs on the home already. Our experience with repair companies has discouraged in our journey of homeownership so when our thermostat stopped working we were over it. We went to yelp and we chose to work with Texas Air & Heat and same day Daniel came and helped us out! Daniel was friendly and was more than happy to explain what the issue was. My husband wanted to put the thermostat back on the wall himself and Daniel even stayed to make sure there was no issues. We thought that was very thoughtful and kind of him. We are relieved to find a company who is honest, reasonably priced and just great customer service. This experience has given my family some relief in finding a company we know we can go to and get great service from. If we ever have AC or thermostat issues Texas Air & Heat will be our first call and we'll be more than happy to suggest anyone we know to them as well. Thank you so much! You guys rock!

My Husband and I own a real estate brokerage, so we are constants in need of a licensed HVAC company. Our AC guy recently retired so took a chance and called Texas Air & Heat based off their reviews and they certainly did not disappoint! Spoke to Daniel (the owner) when I called on a Saturday to schedule and we made an appt for 8 am on Monday. He was super prompt (even text when he was a few minutes out. Once he got there, he looked through the whole system and diagnosed the issue. I asked him to not fix it yet since we were still under contract for the house, but had a detailed invoice with photos of how to fix the issue along with price involved to supply the sellers. Texas Air & Heat will for sure be my new HVAC company!

Willard Air, Heating, Plumbing, Electrical came out this morning for full system review, AC & furnace system components. Brilliant work; very thorough report walk-through with photos. Impressively professional and thorough. The guy George was awesome. They complemented the check up, up front. There aee some good catches that we can get fixed today, and extend the life of the compressor. Heartily recommend. We also joined the membership program to get on the bi-yearly checkups for AC and furnance in preseason times. Incredible turnaround! Well done all!!

    Top Gun was such a great company, but they sold to a company named Willards who has completely…read moredestroyed this company. Willards should be ashamed of themselves....but they won't be because they are shady and have dragged Top Gun down to the gutter with them. I've had nothing but negative interactions with them since they sold, but I keep trying to give them a chance because of how awesome they used to be. I'll just address the latest one. I called them out to service my mini split. The Top Gun tech that came out was great. But couldn't find the problem because of course the mini split started acting right when he came out. A few weeks later, it started making a noise while it was off. I called again and they sent a guy from Willards. This guy (I won't say his name) told me that my levels (that were just checked a few weeks prior) were low. I said how is that possible. He said there's a leak and it would cost over $800 to find it. So I called the office to complain and the office called him. Mysteriously, the levels "returned to normal". I told the office I didn't feel comfortable with this guy, but they assured me everything was fine and let him complete the work and they'd give me $50 off for the "confusion". This guy proceeds to take my mini split apart and says that my fan was caked with dust (it was) and needed to be cleaned. I asked him to clean it and he says that he doesn't work on mini splits and doesn't feel comfortable doing it. Ummm then why was he touching it in the first place! So, I called the office back, they said they'd send a mini split specialist out on Thursday. Thursday comes and goes and no one shows up. I called Thursday night, talked to what I think was an answering service who said they'd have someone call me Friday. No call. Today, I called again. Now it's some AI answering system answering the phone. The system said they'd have someone call back. Again...no call. I'm livid. This once great company sold out when they sold and now I can't stress enough to stay away at all costs. The original Top Gun techs were awesome and you could count on them. The ones remaining need to leave before Willard's damages their reputation like they did Top Guns. It's very sad what has happened to them. Ever since they were sold I've had nothing but trouble with them.
