Always love their Tuna Sandwich on delicious nutty bread!! Cookies are yummy too.. we bought some wheat bread too.

My kids and I eat at Kneaders often and regularly use the drive-thru. I frequently order a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and in the past your staff has always been so kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, today's experience was disappointing. It felt like pulling teeth to have the drive-thru employee accommodate the request, even though it has been done many times before. After some back and forth, she finally agreed. However, when I got home and opened the sandwich, it barely had any peanut butter or jelly on it, and the spread didn't even cover the entire piece of toast. Usually, the sandwich is generously and evenly spread. I can't say for certain, but because the employee seemed unhappy about accommodating the request, it left me wondering whether that may have contributed to the quality of the sandwich. Whether it was prepared by the employee or someone in the kitchen, it was noticeably different from what we normally receive. My family and I have always enjoyed coming to Kneaders, so it makes me sad to have had such a disappointing customer service experience. I hope this feedback can be shared with the team, as experiences like this make loyal customers question whether they want to return. read more

This was my first visit to Kneaders. My friend and I showed up at the peak of lunch rush on a Monday around noon. The line was pretty long, with only one cashier to handle the line. Unfortunately for us, the line took some time to get through, with several groups of people ahead of us ordering one by one. Once we reached the cashier, she was very friendly and helpful to us newbies. We ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich on focaccia bread, then upgraded to the combo with chicken noodle soup. We planned on splitting the sandwich and added another side soup of soup, loaded potato. All in, $25. The place was pretty busy but there was plenty of seating. It was kind of off-putting to see so many tables littered with crumbs or trash that people lazily left behind. We cleaned off a table just in time for our meal to arrive. The focaccia bread was pillowy soft and deliciously fresh. All the turkey, bacon, avocado, Kneaders sauce, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions were crisp, evenly distributed across the large slice of bread and lavishly juicy, yet the meat was woefully underwhelming. For the price, I wished for a meatier sandwich. The soup was hot, with tender veggies and a light, delightful broth carrying small chunks of chicken. My friend also enjoyed her loaded potato soup. We did take some time to ogle at the dessert options, but opted to skip for sake of calories. I would like to try other options and maybe breakfast to get more of a feel for what Kneaders has to offer. I really wanted to love it, so I'll try again. read more

Last Wednesday was the first time I had an opportunity to give this place a try. We visited around 4 PM and the place wasn't very busy. The two staff members we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. Nothing better than pleasantries when visiting a business. We both ordered the hot sandwich option of a Crack Chicken and soup combo. I had the chicken rice soup and the better half had the broccoli cheddar. Both of us enjoyed the meal very much. Kneaders has a very casual ambiance about with plenty of seating inside and modern decor. read more

The food was really good! Unfortunately the place was filthy.. all the open tables were very dirty and the bathrooms were gross. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like if these public areas are that bad. We would definitely go back if they can clean it up! read more

Was so happy to go back to kneaders since they closed their previous location on eagle road years ago. Let's just say we won't be back. Came in and we were the only people there to start then gradually a handful more people showed up after us. There were SO many people "working" behind the counter yet every single table, including the drink area station were filthy. Crumbs everywhere, all needing to be wiped down. Find it hard to believe that not one of the workers couldn't take the time to do that. Food was subpar at best and definitely not worth having to wipe down our own table with napkins dunked in water and not for the price. Was hopeful to add this place to our list of spots but we will be attending pretty much any other sandwich shop before going here again. read more

I came here for the first time and ordered the turkey and cranberry salad with a side order of bread and it was one of the most delicious salads I ever had in my life! So fresh--so amazing! Thank you and can't wait to come back! ~~A happy visitor from California read more

We used to love going to the location on eagle. I've tried the new location twice now and have been incredibly disappointed both times. The cheesecake is literally a joke. It used to be such a treat at Kneaders. I was so excited to have this close to my house. I won't be going back though. read more

Update: We came today for the third time, this time on our 10th wedding anniversary for take-out dessert. My wife ordered a mousse and I ordered a white chocolate chip cookie. My cookie was very good but they gave my wife the wrong dessert! Such a bummer on a milestone anniversary. I'm downgrading my update for that reason. We learned tonight that if we are doing take-out, definitely check our order. read more

If you enjoy a good sandwich and if the bread is the most important element for you, then you might enjoy Kneaders. We will not be going back despite their fresh bread. The bread choices we selected were not the breads we were served. The ingredients were all fresh, but oh, so skimpy. My slice of ham was so thin it was translucent, I am sure I could see the lettuce beneath the ham. My wife wanted no mayo and it was delivered without mayo but they did not include the mustard which was one of the condiments included on the menu, so both her slices of bread were dry. Also both sandwiches were ordered to be whole and one was served as a half - we did only get charged for 1.5 sandwiches. For the record, I ordered these in the restaurant, face to face with the lady at the cash register. read more

I love the night manager Lauren! She has the BEST customer service. Even if they are out of stuff she makes up for it!!!

Service is extremely slow. After we ordered the lady next to me in line told me she'd been waiting 35 min for 3 salads. We waited 25 min at 6 pm on a Saturday for 2 sandwiches. I honestly don't get it...where's the owner or the manager working along side their employees? The other store on eagle was welcoming in decor, pastry selection and help. We went with a group of ladies for an early lunch. The line was long and moved swiftly. The baked goods and breads in the case looked delightful but we were there for lunch. The staff were polite and helpful. We placed our orders and they delivered our food to our table as it was ready without an extended wait. This place was packed on a Monday at 1130am. Lots of groups inside and long drive through lines. We had a party of 7 and were able to sit together which was nice. However, due to the crowds it was so noisy and it was hard to hear anyone. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on wheat (instead of croissant, no lettuce) and a softdrink. 15 dollars later I am still hungry. The sandwich had too much mayo and whole sliced water chestnuts. So what I thought was some nice pieces of chicken in my sandwich turned out to be mostly water chestnuts. So aside from maybe trying a dessert in the future I likely will not be returning for lunch. I noticed my friends sandwiches all lacked protein for the price. read more

This was our view from our table...if their display area looks this bad what does the food prep area look like???? It's not difficult to sweep under this space everyday!! Also my "turkey" sandwich was made with canned chuck chicken! Very disappointed!! Cashier had no clue what was on the menu or what pastries you can choose from on their #3 combo. There are two things I hate when I visit a business. First is being greeted by a grumpy, condescending manager and second is a manager who is disrespectful to their staff. Unfortunately, I experienced both on my recent visit to this location. I am a regular customer of this establishment and have introduced three of my friends to it on different visits. A manager was working the register alongside another manager when I visited yesterday. When I walked up to the register, she greeted me with a sour face and when I asked what the soups were for the day she looked annoyed, pointed at the large menu above the registers and said, "All of our soups are listed up there." I inquired about one of the soups and short of rolling her eyes, she answered my question. After placing my order, I went to fill my soda. There were no straws in the beverage area - no big deal - so I returned to the counter. Amanda greeted me with, "Do you NEED something?" When I told her I just needed a straw, she barked at her employee to "refill the straws." She didn't hand me a straw, she just barked at her employee. I politely asked the employee for a straw. When my friend's salad was delivered and mine (on a separate order) did not come for a few minutes, I returned to the counter and saw it along with about two other customer orders, sitting on the counter. The other supervisor who is always pleasant took care of getting my order for me. I am disappointed in the way the first manager interacted with me and also with the way she treated the staff. My initial reaction was, "This lady really hates her job." The rest of the staff are great. This lady clearly needs some coaching or to find a new job. I cannot continue to support a business that makes me feel like an unwanted intrusion instead of a welcomed guest. Even good food tastes sour after an experience like this. read more

We went in last night, our first time at the new Kneaders. We used to love the Kneaders on Eagle and went there often so family with menu and familiar with service. It was not a fun night. They were so focused on making baskets for a large order, that there was literally no service, errors on order, etc. We both ordered 1/2 sandwich and soup combo, should be easy as soups all made. After 20 minutes of waiting, we asked if our meal was coming - "in about 5 minutes" we were told. When it was brought, they only brought one soup and the sandwiches looked like they were thrown together mayonaise coming out the sides, my vegie sandwich with tomatoes falling out of the bread and no lettuce. The girl said she would go get my soup but never did, so I walked up and asked for it and they asked, which size? I said whatever comes with soup and 1/2 sandwich combo but they still didn't know, so gave me a small. I noticed later that my husband got the large size. I asked if the vegie sandwich typically comes with lettuce and was told yes, do you want some? At that point, I was over Kneaders and we decided idt would be our last time going there, as it was not a fun experience. I had to ask that our table be cleaned prior to eating there and the girl sighed heavily but did do it. read more
