I usually love kneaders! I was totally shocked when I asked for an eclair and it was tiny! I bit into it and it was empty! I paid almost 5 bucks for nothing. Cinnamon roll Was good. I won't be going back to that particular kneaders!

Walking into this place makes you hungry for everything! There are so many wonderful holiday aromas once you walk in! Near the cash register there are samples you can try. They also have a nice eating areas indoors and outdoors. You won't go wrong in anything you order to eat here. They have breakfast sandwiches that are great... ham, egg and cheese croissants are a must try. Plus big kudos to the staff. Vanessa was very nice and accommodating when we were trying to decide what to eat.

To preface, I did come on Pi day which offered $2 off pie slices with entree purchase, but was saddened that their supplies weren't being replenished as it was only noon and options were a bit scarce so I went with the tart. However, the tart was delicious and the pie did not disappoint. Another thing I noticed was my salad included cashews and cilantro, but I wasn't served any and our meals were served with only plasticware. Desserts were also served on paper plates. Overall, the meal was yummy but I wouldn't make a special return any time soon. Some positive notes I did notice they served my salad in a to go box and they were happy to let me try two dressings. This location also has a neat local merchants area/crafting counter (I'm not sure if it was just for deco) and a fireplace which was cozy. I noticed a lot of folks were just there on their computers so it seems like a nice spot to visit for remote work. Tip - if you sign up for their app, you'll get $5 off your next purchase.

I have been going to Kneaders on occasion over the years. Their sandwiches and soups are relatively good. The "scrumptious" looking baked goods that are on full display for hungry customers are not. They are very bland and usually dry. I wonder if they put hardly any salt, sugar, butter, or flavoring extracts in them. Probably very little. I have NEVER had one that tasted great. And I've tried them all - cookies, sweet rolls, brownies, pies, ect. So sad.

Lights please haha Yes they are open!

However, I was met and left with a bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended. The female employee (short hair/glasses) was not the friendliest person, even after I tried being overly nice. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just hates males in general but not a good representation of a place I was eagerly awaiting to try. I first asked if there was a difference in drinks from what was on the menu and up on the board above. She answered snarky, "if it's up on the board and on the menu it's the same" Mind you, one said latte and the other did not, hence the question. I opted with what I normally get. She took my order and then while looking down, stated, "2% milk okay" I said sure then asked if whole was available. You would've thought I had asked for her to go milk the cow and bring it back. She was very annoyed, so I said 2% is fine. I paid for my coffee then stood and watched her began preparing it. I saw her add one quick pump of syrup so I said, could I maybe have one more pump. Again, you would've thought I was about to suck them dry of all syrup. She seemed annoyed and looked at the register and began to say what I assume was they charge for extra, so I quickly said never mind. All in all I was disappointed with my interaction. The coffee was good and the wrap was okay but I dunno if I'd go back.

It may take you a minute to take it all in but it's fun and comfortable here. The place was bustling with patrons and the waiting list was growing with some waiting outside. Not only is the gelato of outstanding quality, but there is a large variety of flavors to choose from. While my favorite flavors are birthday cake and salted caramel, I have tried the vast majority of their flavors one way or another, and I have enjoyed every single one of them. They also have milkshakes, affogatos, and gelato pies. When I had an affogato, I got it with salted caramel gelato and coffee, and it was an excellent combination of sweet and bitter. Although they are best known for their gelato, do not sleep on their coffee. Their coffee is some of the best I have ever had. The atmosphere is nice and modern. It makes for a perfect place to relax and enjoy your gelato or your coffee. Not only is the shop tastefully decorated, but it is also clean as well. The owner, Brian, is one of the most genuine, friendly, and welcoming guys I have ever met. Every time I walk into the shop, he greets me with a warm smile and asks how my day is going. Whenever the shop is not busy, I have enjoyed many friendly conversations with him while enjoying my gelato and/or coffee. I can tell that he cares about customers having a wonderful experience in his shop. I highly recommend Gourmet Gelato and Coffee to anyone in the Phoenix area looking for an excellent gelato shop. No matter where in the Phoenix area you live, the drive is worth it. You will not be disappointed. I will continue to be a regular customer.
