We both went with the small (which were plenty for us), they come with a pickle slice. These sandwiches are definitely stuffed full of whatever you order. (Reminds me of good NY deli sandwiches). Prices are really reasonable. We had barely sat down and they were bringing our order out. So fast. Ample seating area too. Friendly service, house made cold cuts, and a good selection of hot and cold sandwiches. I opted for a pastrami Rueben. The meat was good as was the sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing. I had come here without planning to do so, looking for a lunch spot. I am glad I chose this option because the food was great. I ordered a classic BLT on Sourdough and it was probably the best one I've had in quite a long time. The service was fast as well, no complaints here. The ambiance was just alright. Pop music mainly and a big emphasis on Chicago's sports. Overall, a solid lunch spot. Supports parties indoors from 1 to 6 just looking at the tables, but I'm sure it could support more. read more

Drove by this place so many times on my lunch break and today I stopped in! It's a local spot in Mesa and they're doing things with a high standard. My husband and I ate here while we were in the area for a golf tournament. We split a Turkey Cranberry sandwich. It was on a Brioche Bun and had turkey, cranberry sauce, lettuce, stuffing and turkey gravy on it. It was good, but my husband and I both agreed that it would have been better with more cranberry sauce...........we probably should have asked for more. They have three different sizes. We went with the largest size, which was 9 ounces of meat. It was a bit much and we probably would have been just fine with the 6 ounce size. We also got German potato salad. I've not had much German potato salad in my life, so I don't have much to compare it to, but it was good, and I'd order it again. We will be in the area for a few more days yet, and it is entirely possible that we will visit this establishment again. I almost forgot to mention that the service was great. Very nice crew. I got a Pastrami Ruben to go and drove 2 miles back to work. The bottom piece of bread was so soggy that it was not even edible. I was excited to try this place because I've heard good things, but my experience was not great for a $15 sandwich. I would suggest eating at the restaurant so you don't get soggy bread. read more

This place is a hidden gem! The sandwiches are fantastic, I got the turkey cranberry and my boyfriend got the steak sandwich and we both loved them! I get the small BLATT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato, and turkey) and a small soda every time, it's about $11 and not a big meal but I'm always full after. I don't enjoy their breakfast burrito, the seasoning on the potatoes was the only thing I could taste, and they're very mushy. But I'm very picky about breakfast potatoes, and it was well prepared otherwise! I liked that they griddled it on the flattop a bit to make the tortilla extra tasty. Love coming here instead of the big sandwich/sub chains. The food tastes fresher and isn't a salt bomb. Happy to give this shop my money and will keep coming back. read more

We live right down and street and have been meaning to try this place, and finally stopped in to grab lunch to-go today. Inside has a good amount of tables to sit at plus a bar style counter. The menu has a lot of options and variety, and we decided on a French Dip and the Hero sandwich. Placed my order and sat down to wait. A little more than 20 minutes later I started looking around and seeing that guests who ordered after me were eating and I was still waiting on the sandwiches to go, so I approached the kitchen pickup window to ask what was going on. The employees checked tickets being worked on and mine was nowhere to be found, and turns out my food had been sitting ready off to the side with what I assume are DoorDash pickups so no one had called out for me. A little frustrating and they should likely have a better system for in store to go orders, like handing out the order number signs for the dine-in orders. Got home with the food and it was lukewarm at best after sitting so long, but the portion size was good for the price and the sandwiches were decent. Better than the big chain spots for sure but the meat in the French dip was a little tough. This first experience was a little disappointing but I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt as a fluke, and try to hit them again for breakfast and I'll update my review at that time. read more

We dropped by here for a casual dinner before going to Mesa Arts. They weren't very busy at 6:30 on a Friday night. I picked this location becuase of the previous good reviews and the wide variety of food options. DH had the BATT and I had the Turkey Spinach wrap. Both were made as requested and very tasty. I liked that the turkey in my sandwich wasn't "deli" style, but real turkey. Both meals were delivered to our table quickly. The space was clean, although the table was quite wobbly. It wasn't clear that they had fountain drinks, so DH got a canned soda which was not well chilled. A cup and ice took care of that issue. I guess there use to be a Schlotsky at this location according to some of the Google Photos. A new person was being trained to take orders.
