I could hardly wait to eat this burrito part of the reason you only see one half. This burrito is very filling with eggs, potatoes, cheese, and ham bits. Served with sour cream and salsa on the side. I absolutely love the Koa Pancake House and make it a point to visit at least a few times every trip to the island, especially when I'm staying at Aulani, the Disney Resort in the Kapolei area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything about this place is AMAZING, and it's the perfect spot for a morning breakfast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really enjoy the corned beef hash, Spam, and their pancakes especially the banana pancake is my personal favorite. The staff are incredibly friendly, and I always enjoy my fresh cup of coffee with my meal. Staff are very fast and efficient if you're in a rush, but I usually like to stick around, relax, and enjoy my coffee while taking in the breakfast. It's such great way to start the day and delicious start to the day, and I can't recommend it enough!

I was craving pancakes and wanted local food (and prices) but so we decided to venture over from the resorts. We arrived around 10:30 on a Tuesday and it was pretty busy, but we were able to find a table and peruse the menu until we were ready to order at the counter. We ordered: - Chunky Monkey Full Stack Pancakes -- big portion with a heap of whipped cream on the top. There were plenty of chocolate chips, and they were high quality. Also a good amount of bananas and mac nuts. - Vinha D'Alhos Breakfast Burrito -- really good flavor but a little small. - Breakfast Plate with Portuguese Sausage, Scrambled Eggs and Pancakes -- big portions and the sausage had good flavor. They forgot to bring the short stack but apologized when we reminded them. Total was $51 including tip and drinks. The fried rice looked really good. Next time I want to try that. Only downside is the Diet Pepsi. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is nothing special but is clean and decorated with some local art.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Sunday morning, breakfast at Koa Pancake House Kapolei. It wasn't busy yet, we ordered the Bacon and Eggs over Fried Rice. With a side of Sweetbread French toast. Delicious . I ordered takeout from Koa Pancake House and was really looking forward to a comforting meal. Unfortunately, when I got home, most of the food was burnt. Such a letdown. I honestly would have gladly waited a little longer if it meant the food wasn't overcooked. The only thing that turned out well were the pancakes

The service was super good, I've ordered my food and I bet you not. 7 minutes later I'm already eating. Fast service and great jobs to the 4 ladies that were in the front. Even though it was super busy and I was the last one to order in line it still came out hot and fast! Appreciation to the cook (Jr), the presentation and the service was on point! Will come back again!

We got the Koa moco and vinha d'alhos moco plates. Koa: this was a corned beef hash + hamburger combo over a fried rice (extra), with scrambled eggs. Great value for $17! The fried rice was fine, nothing special. I'd probably skip it and just get regular rice. The corned beef hash was awesome and very flavorful. The patty was hefty, but under salted. I'd probably just get beef hash next time. Vinha: for me, the pork was slightly sour, but that's just what vinha is. I personally wasn't expecting that. The build a mocos are great value and can easily feed two people.

This is our go to place when headed to a morning at the beach. We call head, our regular order of one Koa breakfast burrito. Has Portuguese Sausage, egg and potato. Its large enough that we split it. Under 8.00. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We take it with us and enjoy the views of our favorite little cove.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also take family here when they visit for a sit down with Macadamia Pancakes or order something for the beach. They have always been happy with the pancakes. Sister loved their vegetarian burrito, said it was one of the best one she's tried. Service is always fast whether it's to go or dine in.

As you may expect or know firsthand, Covid 19-required takeout orders are simply not as elegant as in-restaurant meals. Koa House does the next best thing which is comprised of ease of ordering, great selections, a clean facility, speedy delivery of the order and tastes that are as close to in-house dining as possible. Forget about presentation. In the spirit of "making lemonade when served lemons", we ordered the Mahi Mahi & eggs and the Spinach-cheese-mushroom omelet that was taken immediately to a nearby beach to enjoy. Both selections were a pleasant way to get our day started and gentle reminder of how fortunate we are to be living in paradise. read more

Satisfying, homey breakfast food at an affordable price! Their portions are huge and you get a lot of bang for your buck. I love their corned beef hash(~$8) which comes with 2 eggs and your choice of side. I recently got their pancakes as a side and it came with a stack of 3 fluffy pancakes! The corned beef is canned, but still delicious nonetheless. My mom got the fried rice that also came with and egg and spam or portuguese sausage. The fried rice was cold and a little disappointing. They have several tables to sit inside, and they have 3 tables to sit at outside. The service was quick and friendly. If you're looking for a fast, inexpensive breakfast then definitely check out the Koa Pancake House! read more

So, I feel that this joint should only do pancakes. The waffles suck! They were so undercooked taste like raw dough.The eggs are out a box and the French toast is so thick and soggy! The breakfast potatoes had good taste but came to table cold. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

OMG.. just stumbled upon this breakfast place because the place across the street was a 45-60min wait. So glad that fortune favors the brave and hungry.. the food here is incredible, the staff is super friendly, and service is swift! We went a second day during the same week but forgot to take photos of the food because we were so hungry! Try the loco moco gravy.. it should be placed on everything! Their crepes, pancakes, French toast, and waffles were all delicious.. and yes we tried all of them! The line the second day was out the door but people were so kind to not linger and moved on as soon as they were done eating! Love this place and will be back any time we are in Oahu! read more

this morning we had made a phone order for our breakfast delite carving, from your kapolei outlet. i was very shock how generious the breakfast portions were. in the pasted i have encounter with your other outlets (koa pancake house) wasn't as generious and or as tasty with thier breakfast portions, and to be honest, not even coming close to it taste and deliciousness as your kapolei outlet is. me and family member wasn't disappointed at all in our breakfast order from your kapolei koa pancake house. pls do not change your ingredients from your guys fry rice, it was superb in taste and well as in blance in texture. we be back, an other satisfying customer...mahalo a nui loa. read more

Affordable breakfast and plentiful too! The local kine breakfast always soothes the soul. Koa Pancake has a variety of pancakes, waffles and the standard egg and meat dishes. They also serve lunch items but when I go here I tend to order the breakfast items. My favorite is the banana pancakes well all of the pancakes are great. My friends will order the Portuguese sausage eggs and rice which also comes with pancakes. Their are omelets and other items that can fulfill your pallet. They give you a lot and is worth your money. Most items are affordable. read more

My boyfriend and I dined here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. It's an order at the counter kind of restaurant & they bring the food to your table. We both got the breakfasts plate with bacon. Awesome breakfast and lunch place to go for good sized servings and fast food. You order your food at the counter, then find a table, and they bring the food to your table. No wait service, kind of self serve. Also, only paper plates and plastic forks here. Self serve drinks and coffee. However, the portions are big, the food comes out fast, and everything is made to order. Favorites: Kal-bi and eggs, Breakfast burrito, Eggs Benedict, and the Banana pancakes. My suggestion is grab the table first and have someone in your party stand in line to order. They also have some picnic tables outside if u want the fresh air. One of the better breakfast joints in Kapolei. read more

Any stars given is for the lovely aunty who is behind the register, and the Filipino aunty bussing tables and serving the food. They're awesome! But the low rating is for the RUDE ASS lady in the front taking phone orders and packing to-go orders. If you don't like your job, QUIT! GO HOME! People come to this establishment to get food and eat with their family, you're standing behind the counter being rude as hell, loud for no reason, so mean to the aunty bussing, and giving complete attitude to anyone calling in a phone order. Like I said, if you don't like your job, STAY HOME. You're clearly not happy here or meant to be in customer service. If anyone actually reads this, that lady should be fired. She doesn't belong here. This is coming from a Hawaii native, who's been eating at Koa my whole life. read more

Our first stop after landing in Hawaii was breakfast at Koa Pancake House! This is located in a shopping center and has an obscure entrance. I ordered the Koa omelette for $9.35 and the buttermilk pancakes as the choice item and guava juice. Tasted great! There was a long line for a Monday morning. We luckily found a table before the morning rush. If there is a rush, make sure to claim a table first while you have someone else place the orders! Best place for diner-style comfort breakfast. Quick service by all the Aunties and local classics that will not let you down. It can get pretty busy and hard to find spot before 11, but after then it's pretty calm. Great place for a hearty, reliable meal, especially the Koa omelette and the guava waffle. read more

Great Service and the food tastes good. But the onions were raw and the slices were super difficult to eat since it was so big. Portions were on the large side which is good. But the paper plates aren't my favorite. The strawberry French toast we got was causing the plate to be soggy and the oil from my loco moco was leaking onto the table from the plate. But everything was yummy and the service was excellent. read more

This is my favorite koa location. They're busy, so I normally phone order. Efficient service. I never feel the need to double check my order before leaving. They've never messed up or forgot to give me anything.... ever- which is incredible with how busy they get! I do know, mistakes can always happen, but in my 10 years using this location it never has. Their portion sizes are also more generous than other locations so I always have enough for leftovers read more

Really nice local breakfast joint that serves wonderful fried rice, eggs, and Spam for breakfast. I also tried the pancakes and crepes and they were also excellent. This is nice alternative to the touristy restaurants at KoOlina and the service was very freindly. read more

The FOOD here & kitchen line is REAL GOOD! The older lady taking the walk-in order is beyond sweet & just starts your morning off with a smile.... The other LOCAL aunteh here... has horrible customer service, swearing while running the front of store, talking bad and down to the busser... mind you this is IN FRONT OF RESTAURANT, where customers have to hear. I haven't visited Koa Pancake House in a few years, but decided to try it out again. First time to this location, but I figured they're all the same. I had the Corned Beef Hash Loco Moco with Fried Rice. I wish there was more gravy :( Other half had the Spinach Mushroom Cheese omelet w/ potatoes. We came here for a nice pancake breakfast before driving into Honolulu when on vacation with the family. What better place than a pancake house, right? We walked in and I realized it was not a full service restaurant. It's a casual, deli style spot where you order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. It's a small place, you'd be kinda cramped if you had a big group. The staff were friendly and did their best to accommodate us. I had the chocolate chip pancakes, which were huge. I quickly found out most of the plates are large amounts of food, while I watched the Samoan family next to us scarf down their meals like it was a snack. I'm not a small dude but these portions are significant. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. The fruit toppings did not seem fresh to me. I was slightly disappointed with the bacon. All in all it was ok and we certainly left with our bellies full but it wasn't exactly what we were looking for. read more

My family really likes this place. You can't do better if you're going to try to feed a whole family for breakfast on a budget. The group deals are a tasty bargain that I want to remember for take-out. The only thing negative I would say is that if you're looking to get sides à la cart, you cannot. (Like I wanted spam and rice and I had to order the meal with eggs.) Guava and pineapple juices were good, pancakes were great, sausages were good. All good. read more

It is somewhat in the middle of the hotel, though. However, the service was lacking, if even present, and the food is, as expected, pricey. For some guests, hotels gave them vouchers to redeem at the restaurants near by, and this was one of those restaurants that you could redeem it at. With the voucher, this restaurant is a little bit easier to justify, but without, you are left paying high prices for fine food and a great view. If you are on the resort, then this is also easier to justify, as it is one of the closer options compared to the others. If you're not staying at the Marriott connected to it, then I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to go here. We ordered the crab cakes and the shrimp risotto. The crab cakes were really good, with a few different textures like the crunchies on top! If you like crab or crab cakes, or if you want to try something new, I would suggest that you order this or split it with a friend or partner. The shrimp risotto was fine, but after trying it, I ended up wishing that I ordered something else on the menu. It wasn't that it was bad, it just was okay. My heart leapt for joy seeing that I could have both fish jun AND kalbi and if I wanted I could've gotten a third choice. My eyes spotted a familiar side dish of seasoned potatoes, which I left it for the next person and got the daikon, perfectly seasoned not dry at all jap chae, and kim chi cucumbers. When I took my first bit into the kalbi, life was made good again. It was reset and welcome home I needed. It was a perfectly cut and marinated kalbi. The fish Jin was seasoned so well I barely needed to dip it into a sauce. The portions could have fed 2. I asked if they were related to the Gina's in Market City. Bro, this is the OG Gina's!! The owner said they sold the other one and his mom helped him start this one. It looked like the whole family was behind the counter. I wanted to cry. Not all things have changed in Hawai'i! Some things got better! OG Gina's being in Kapolei is one of em.

Although their menu is extensive and everything sounds delicious, I usually order the bacon and egg omelette with a side of chocolate chip pancakes. It's always a good choice! Most places skimp out on the bacon (or any type of meat), but they literally pack the inside of the omelette with bacon and cheese :-) Prices are VERY affordable for actual meals. Sides/add-ons are a little pricey.. The workers do seem a little shy, but they're very nice and try their best to accommodate you. The only con to this place is it gets REALLY busy and finding a place to sit can be a hassle (it's self-seating). But it's not that big of a deal. If I notice it's packed, I'll just order it to go :-) read more

Whoa, some of the reviews are harsh! Is this a fancy restaurant - no. Is this gourmet food - no. Is there a long line - yes. Do you get top-notch service - no. But, is the food good and reasonably priced - ABSOULTELY! It is a local place that serves good food quickly, and if you have kids like me, this place is a godsend! The kids get to pig out and mellow out and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. Be prepared for long lines, but if you happen to arrive at an off time its not so bad. We come here every time we visit Hawaii, mostly because the kids ask for it, but we are more than happy to oblige!! read more

This restaurant is a true gem! The food was absolutely delicious--every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. From appetizers to dessert, everything exceeded expectations. First visit to Koa Pancake House and it was great! Super friendly cashier explains the menu with patience. The orders come out so quickly less than five minutes between the time you pay until your order arrives. The price is reasonable too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast. read more

The best banana pancakes ive ever had. The coffee was also great! My wife had the chocolate chip pancakes and she loved them too. Fluffiest pancakes ever! To top it all off it was soo cheap . Two short stack pancakes, 1 side of bacon, 1 side of sausage and two coffees= $22 !!! Great food, great price!!! read more
