"Ginger salad" or as everyone else calls it, iceberg lettuce and shrimp sauce
    Shawn S.

Sushi isn't bad, as long as you expect grocery store sushi. The service is fast from the sushi area at least. The "ginger salad" took an hour to actually be given to us (after asking twice), but it was literally a bowl of iceberg lettuce with shrimp sauce (yum yum sauce). No one I know eats shrimp sauce, especially as a salad dressing, and even more so as a "ginger" dressing. The smell of the place was equivalent to burning plastic. Also, our daughter went up to buy another fountain drink, I gave her cash, the girl at the counter took all the cash and handed her an empty cup. No change. Since when does a fountain drink cost over $5?

The food was so flavorful and fresh and I always love how clean the food areas are complimented by the fast friendly service you just can't miss!

Sushi roll was REALLY good! The hibachi really doesnt have any taste besides the shrimp. Cozy restaurant and decent prices. Would come back when I'm near!

This place is indeed a good edition to the georgetown mix. So much better than Sakura, WAY better. Living in the Georgetown area kind of puts a person in the middle ground between going to Southside of savannah or going up to I95. Sometimes I rather not have to go far but I usually had no choice. Now i can get some decent sushi close to home. Yes decent. Dont go in there thinking its a sushi restaurant and nor is it a hibachi steak house. Think of it is a much more upscake version of Seasons of Japans that comes with real Japanese food and good flavors. This place is does not have room for large parties so dont even think about that. Even if you did bring a large parry here you would have to order individually at the cashier :). Think of it is a quaint little place that you find downtown on a small corner for that Japanese food craving fix. Ok now on to the main review. Decor: 3.5 - not to bad. Its decorated enough to suit its needs. Not to shabby Service: 4 - well you can really only judge the person at the cashier. She dealt with all six of us ordering individually and trust me we had some big orders lol. YES SHE SPEAKS ENGLISH, i only said that in caps because some lady on here was complaining about having a guy there that barely spoke English. Suck it up cupcake and open your ears. Food: 4 - the sushi was pretty damn good, actually better than i had expected to get from them. You know after going to sakura in georgetown. I didn't expect much from this place but they surprised me. The other food was good too! The koni salad was pretty good and so was the hibachi chicken bowl. I will try to update whenever i go back :)

A clean, nicely decorated Japanese restaurant.

My chicken teriyaki was very bland. It was literally just chopped white meat with some sauce thrown on it. Definitely will not order again.

Basic Japanese, quick and easy, cheap place. Good enough to order from or eat in once every couple months.

Food is decent, priced right. Spring roll is not recommended- no flavor at all. Service- professional enough.

Very good sushi and hibachi. Not a fan of the rice though. Great service and friendly staff.

Date night with all you can eat sushi was a hit. Sushi Kingdom has created a great space and…read moreexperience. The space is clean and visually amazing! A massive sushi bar is at the center of the restaurant and paper lanterns light the dining room. You have the option to order from waitstaff or use a QR code on the table and place orders at your own pace - a great option if you want limited interaction. We tried their Clear Soup and it was probably one of the most rich broths I've had for this soup. When it came to appetizers, we may have gone a bit overboard. We enjoyed the Spring Rolls, Fried Calamari, Gyoza, Crab Rangoon, and the Coconut Shrimp. All were served fresh and HOT!!! A previous review mentioned that items were probably flash fried which is most likely correct. The serving sizes of these items are 1-3 pieces so it makes sense they are flash fried - totally fine with that! Their sushi is served more in a nigiri style. We tried the salmon, yellowtail, red snapper, and the white tuna. All seemed pretty fresh. The salmon sashimi that we tried had was also good. Sashimi is an additional $1 per piece. The Salmon Hand Roll and Classic California Roll (8pcs) were exactly what you would expect. No complaints. We tried three of their Special Rolls; Savannah Roll, Dynamite Roll, and the Green Dragon Roll. Great portions of 8pcs for each roll. No skimping on size and toppings. We didn't try many of the Hibachi options. In fact, we only tried the Hibachi Steak. They were tender and delicious - needed a tad bit more salt. We didn't have room for dessert but the did have a few ice cream options and Fried Oreos.

I…read morepersonally love Japanese food, coming from Brazil, it's something very common and popular there. Even though I find the flavors a bit different here in the U.S., I've really come to enjoy it, and this place definitely stands out. One of my favorite things was their ordering system. You just scan a QR code at your table and order exactly what you want, as many times as you want, since it's all-you-can-eat. Super convenient and honestly kind of fun. We ordered fried calamari, shrimp, salmon sashimi, spring rolls, a variety of sushi, and the clear mushroom soup. Everything came out really fast and keep in mind, this was on a Friday around 5:30/6pm, so that was impressive. The atmosphere is also a highlight. The place is beautiful and gives you a bit of a Japan-inspired vibe with colorful lights, wooden accents, and those Japanese-style lamps. I loved it. Just a quick tip: be mindful of how much you order. Since it's all-you-can-eat, they will charge extra if you leave too much food behind. I'd definitely recommend it, great food, fast service, and a really nice vibe!
