This place has absolutely gone down the toilet recently. The two female workers serve to be incompetent and care more about getting their flirt on instead of listening and pay attention to the customer orders. I've now had them get my orders wrong, and have food missing numerous times . A real bummer, considering I held them at a higher standard. Today they failed to add my chicken, leaving me with a shrimp mushroom bowl!!!! Ridiculous!!!!! Definitely need better staff. SMH!!!!

Well First Of all Coming to Victor Valley Shopping Mall and after an walk around the shopping center we were feeling a bit hungry and Kobe Japan was located inside the food court and why not give it an try !! So the line was kind of long but it moved fairly quickly !! So as we look over the menu and was craving some noodles we felt this was the spot !! So we placed our order and waited . The wait was not to long and the noodles here are cooked right in front of you !! It is more like Mongolian style noodles and they prepare it right in front of you !! As we got our order there are plenty of seats around the food Court here !! We sat down and it was chow time !! As we ate our noodles I would say it was delicious and yummy !! Noodles were cooked well and it had good flavor !! If you happen to be in Victor Valley and plan on going to the Shopping Center there I would say give it an try and enjoy the delicious Noodles here !! Overall it was an good experience and if I happen to be in Victor Valley again I shall give it a try again !!!

I ordered two fish, one grilled shrimp taco and one potato taco. The food came out quickly and was plated beautifully with both lemon and lime wedges. I was asked if I would like a mild, medium, or hot salsa. I chose the medium one but it had only just a little hint of a kick. It was a good tasting accompaniment for the seafood. The beer batter was crispy on the fish. There is plenty of shredded cabbage and a good crema on the tacos. Fish was very fresh and clean tasting. The grilled shrimp was seasoned well but were small and a bit dry. I would probably try the beer battered shrimp next time. Potato taco was crunchy and the filling tasted good. Altogether, the food was very delicious and left me feeling light. Service was very welcoming and friendly. Bar and dining areas were inviting and clean. One of my favorite songs, The Smiths' "There is a Light That Never Goes Out" was playing on the stereo so that was very nice while dining. I will certainly return to try the other items on the menu.

We also ordered the chips and salsa. The fish and shrimp tacos came with limes and sides of different house made salsas which were really good. We were ready to cash out and asked for the check, after we got the check we told them we wanted another taco each and another round of beers! The service was great, the place is really clean and they have a bar serving beers on tap. They play different types of music like Banda and oldies. They served my favorite beer, 805!! I'd recommend this place and definitely come back here again!

They close at 9 but stop taking walk in dining after 8:15 which is understandable because food preparation duh. Those complaints about that are for people who walk in restaurants at 8:50 thinking staff should serve you and then wonder why food quality is bad. Anywho back to my experience. It's was my birthday and my first time there. Juana was my server and I gave us good recommendations on what to get. I got a boil and my bestie got a po'boy which she loved. My family is actually from Louisiana so I'm always skeptical but the seasoning was on point and the crawfish was not overcooked!!!!! No personally and in Louisiana the fish in po'boys are catfish not cod but I think that choice is based more on the location this restaurant is in. Honestly that's the only critique I have on the food it was very good. Back to the service Mark wasn't out server but he help the table next to us and I hope they tipped well he was on it. Amialey wasn't our server but she checked on us and talked with us at our table. Did I mention our amazing server Juana made me a birthday hat! They also sung happy birthday and gave me a slice of cheesecake. Again they went above and beyond. Also again they do not overcook the seafood.

I finally turned around and the female staff met my eyes and told the young men again, I wanted to place an order. I consider that not good customer service being as that their conversation wasn't about work. I have a new review of Shabang after 6 years. I have always purchased 1lb peeled shrimp, Classic seasoning and mild heat seasoning. This has been my go to. Today, I don't know who was playing in the kitchen. The sauce was watery and not red and thick in color. Shrimp was uncoated (see pic) Imagine my sheer disappointment not getting the same quality of food as I have been these past 6 years. I have brought people to eat here, near and far. Now the cook is playing in the kitchen. I hate when establishment know that their stuff is subpar for a takeout order and they're gonna throw it together thinking that you know the people aren't gonna say nothing or they're not gonna open their bag until they get home and they're gonna keep it. Well that's not me. I'm a shout it loud.

The seafood boil bag is always delicious. The Cajun sauce is packed with flavor, the fried calamari is crispy and even better dipped in the tartar sauce, and the noodles are seriously underrated, they're so good! The food has consistently kept me coming back, but I do think the customer service could be a little more welcoming at times. A little friendliness goes a long way, and it would also be nice if personal conversations between staff were kept away from the dining area since customers can hear everything. That said, I stopped by tonight about 30 minutes before closing (I felt guilty, sorry y'all ), and Emilio took care of us. I'd never seen him there before, but he was friendly, welcoming, and checked on us throughout our meal even though he was already busy with the closing routine. We weren't trying to be high maintenance--we were just hungry and excited to eat--but he still made us feel taken care of without overdoing it. Great service like that stands out, especially when it's close to closing time. Hopefully some of his coworkers can learn a thing or two from his approach because it really makes a difference in the overall experience. The food was excellent as always, and tonight's customer service made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back... probably next week. Thanks, y'all!

The service was great and the waiter was super attentive, but unfortunately, the food had absolutely no flavor. I ordered the all in one mild, and there was barely any sauce. The shrimp and crawfish tasted like they were literally boiled in water and thrown into the bag without any seasoning or sauce. I also ordered eggs, which were $3 each, and they were grey. I didn't eat them. Overall, I was really disappointed with the meal. I didn't feel like complaining to the waiter or asking for a refund/replacement since it wasn't too expensive and I just wanted to get out of there.

We order the Mariner broil (spicy) and add sausage for a little extra nominal fee. After Crab-Topped Stuffed Mushrooms and Tan and Black Tortilla Chips dipped in Crab Queso for me, and a Bowl of Clam Chowder for Diane, we moved on to entrees. The Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms were juicy and salty with some coagulated cheese, and the queso was very tasty, along with delicious complimentary house-made Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Diane liked her chowder. For mains, Diane ordered an Ultimate Feast with two Marine Lobster Tails, two Walt's Shrimps, and two Baked Potatoes with Chopped Bacon and cheese, and I had a Mariners Boil with Peel and Eat Shrimp, Snow Crab, a Maine Lobster Tail, Boiled Potatoes and two Corn Cobetters. My boil featured added Cajun Sausage, Original Spice Level with Roasted Garlic Butter Sauce, and was just spicy enough. It took me about 1-1/2 hours fo finish my meal, but finish it I did, with the help of two restaurant-provided plastic gloves. Diane, on the other hand, took one lobster tail home for lunch two days later. Service by Desiree F. was very good. xxxx-1/2 stars overall!
