This is actually the entire place , take by one of the only 6 seats. 4 people working all family affair

One star away from a perfect 5/5. Everything else smacked. Service , price, freshness, cleanings only inside. I found this breakfast only spot by keyword search breakfast around me. This one popped up and glad it did. Even just by driving by you can totally tell this is a primarily take out spot. When you enter it can barely fit 3 customers not kidding. One guy was eating at one table and another customer stepped in his foot by accident that's how tiny this place is. There is one small table outside but the area and people around you think twice about sitting there. And parking there is really no parking , just no parking signs literally everywhere and time limit parking zones. I saw a parking garage around but that was a few blocks away. I got lucky and found a corner spot and didn't get a ticket . But the breakfast was pretty good and it was prepare nice and neat for the go. I snapped a quick pic. I recommend this place not because it looks nice from outside because it doesn't at all but for what's inside it great food and service . I feel good afterwards spending money at a family owned place and because they work hard to keep their customers happy and fed you can tell. In conclusion the lack of a bathroom, Barely any parking and dirty streets nearby was the deciding factor for 4/5

The bulgogi omelette was the business!!! Wow.. so delicious. The loco moco was delicious too... there's a little surprise of a piece of spam in there.. there's gravy tastes legit, not like it came from a powder base. The spot is really small.. only 6 seats inside and a couple more outside maybe.. the service was quick and super friendly.. The next time I'm in town, I'd go back again for sure.

Quaint and friendly hole in the wall breakfast joint serving home style classics with an Asian twist! Got the loco moco and it was loaded! Very satisfying meal.

I visited Koffee Pot on a Saturday morning around 8:30/9:00 AM. It was already getting busy with a large party sitting outside and a few individuals inside. The family managing the business were incredibly attentive throughout my visit. They quickly took my order and served the drinks, and even took the time to chat a little while I was waiting. They were so sweet and kind to their customers, making it one of the best service experiences I've had at a mom & pop diner in Oakland! The food was amazing! The French toast had crispy edges with a sweet, soft bite in the middle. The waffle was equally impressive--crispy on the outside and soft like a puffy cloud on the inside. The loco moco was definitely the standout dish! The sauce had a unique flavor that I couldn't quite pinpoint, but it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back. Koffee Pot has found themselves a regular customer!

Great spot! Classic breakfast with lots of great flavor - can't get a breakfast like this anywhere on telegraph. Service is so friendly and kind - family and friends owned and operated. You can sit cozy inside or outside. Not great for big groups, but they will help you!

Great breakfast spot - although I would only come if you are with one other person. I've had this spot to-go and delivered multiple times and the breakfast sandwiches are always delicious and plenty of options. It reminds of eating in Hawaii - fusion food and the hash browns are clearly those frozen Micky D's style you can buy in a frozen section and the burger patty may or may not be from Costco but it all works. I decided on the Loco Moco since I had just worked out and how often can you find that? The plate was massive, Rice, burger, spam, gravy, eggs, pretty hard to create a heavier dish but the gravy wasn't too thick or heavy so it really helped the dish. Great flavor and eggs cooked perfect. My gf got the spicy pork bulgogi omelet, again how often can you find that? Really delicious, served with two hash browns and two slices of toast. The omelet was packed with the bulgogi, mushrooms, and peppers. Make sure you try something off their little hot sauce stand!

    French Toast $8 and delicious.

Koffee Pot on Telegraph between 25th St., 26th St. was fire. Super friendly. Serving breakfast until 1:30 on Saturday. I like the fact that the breakfast specials are just $13.50. You can get a waffle or French toast, bacon or sausage, and two eggs. I went for turkey sausage. Feeling crazy so I added an extra just for kicks. By extra I mean I got the waffle and the French toast. So I could check out both dishses. So basically I ordered an extra-special breakfast special for only $21.50. And an iced Vietnamese coffee for $5.50 was exactly what I needed a nice warm summer day. I walked the lake and went to my gym for a workout so I wanted to go big for breakfast. Food came out in a hurry too.The French toast stole the show. Scrambled eggs were good. The turkey sausage was all right. The waffle pretty good too. Not great, just not my style. More soft than crispy, so not quite my thing. But the French toast was all that! That's going to be my go-to when I need a quick, inexpensive brunch or breakfast in this part of town. Pro tip; you don't have to eat here to get an iced Vietnamese coffee to go. Such a perfect warm weather treat. If only to support a good local restaurant at a time with so many of them closing.

Still a lovely, local little hole-in-the-wall diner in the heart of downtown Oakland with a Hawaiian-Asian flare in dishes. My friend and I came in recently for brunch and shared a hardy, large order of Loco Moco with a side of Hash Browns. Safe to say, we could not finish everything but tried our best as to not waste. The price was fantastic for everything we got, which is hard to find in the Bay Area with rising inflation and cost of rent. Shoutout to the two young girls working in the shop that their family now owns (it seems that ownership has changed in the past year), Teresa and Mary! Thank you for shielding us from an unsavory regular in an altered mental state (unfortunately, not uncommon in Oakland).

Such a great coffee spot - food is so delicious. I got the Crossaint III breakfast sandwich with bacon egg cheese and hashbrowns... so good. Their service is very quick and attentive and kind ^_^ prices are so reasonable - highly recommend this spot for a delicious breakfast and cup of coffee !

Yes! Also, it you don't see tables outside, ask for one. They will quickly set one up for you!

We went this morning (Tuesday) and they are closed. Anyone know why?

Is it really not open on Sunday?!?

We went on a weekday. They probably serve the business community and close on Sundays. It's a very tiny little restaurant.

They are located in the Temescal area of Oakland, and they share a building with a Mexican restaurant. There's a parking lot that's shared with a pawn broker, produce market, and check cashing service. Their vibe is urban, with a rainbow flag on their front door, and assortment of plants inside. Other reviewers had mentioned a line upon opening, so we made sure to arrive 15 minutes before they open, but on this Friday morning, there was no one else but us. Our server was friendly, polite, and soft spoken. Their menu is quite small, which I appreciate. There's appetizers, sides, brunch, and dinner -- all on 1 page. Their food was outstanding, with rich flavors and beautifully presented with sauces and pickled radishes. We ordered... + Shanghai Lumpia - these were long, crispy, and properly filled + Daing Na Bangus Silog - deep fried milkfish with salad, garlic rice, and sunny egg. One of our favorites. + Fried Chicken (4-piece) - perfectly crispy and juicy. There's some warm spices in the batter, maybe all-spice. + Adobo fried rice - the pork was so tender, it shreds on your fork. This had a good amount of tanginess that was so good. + Pancit Sotanghon - not your typical pancit. The chopped veggies in this had an almost charred flavor that made the dish so interesting. There was not a bad dish. I definitely recommend this for elevated Filipino food that's not pretentious, with a modern, hip vibe.

Lush greenery abounds. Servers are nice, checking tables frequently. What fell short for me was the taste. Restaurant quality food but flavors are so divorced from the og that diners looking to satiate their Filipino food cravings will leave unsatisfied. Filipino food has very strong pungent flavors whether salty, sweet, sour, bitter, and definitely umami. It should punch diners in the mouth, no ands, ifs, or buts. Adobo sa gata (aka adobo in coconut milk) is a regional specialty. The sharpness of the vinegar mellows out with the addition of the coconut milk. But there should still be a clear and distinct flavor profile. The eggplant omelet was almost there. Liked that it wasn't greasy but again was searching for some punch of flavor. Maybe I needed to ask it they had a garlic, chili and vinegar dipping sauce. Or maybe atchara (aka pickled veg). Didn't care for the sticky rice dessert (aka suman). Didn't like the pureed texture. The green mango garnish was better when I dipped the slices in salt. FOB Kitchen's food is refined. Maybe too subtle and restrained. I get it. The chef has to appeal to the western palate, a wider audience than just Filipinos, to survive in an industry with razor thin margins. I look for good food and flavor, not necessarily for authenticity. So yes, I would still recommend this restaurant, for good eats but not for Filipino food.

It kind of reminded me of shakshuka in terms of spices but the beans almost tasted meaty. I liked it so much that I brought it home, and my partner said it tasted like refried beans (though he did have them cold). The crusty warm bread was perfect for dipping, and I ended up not being able to finish it. The chai was pretty milky; there was a tea bag and the spices weren't very strong. Then again, I'm used to Indian chais. I would pass on the chai. There was basically no one else there on a Friday afternoon during off-peak hours. It was dimly lit and kind of chilly because the door was left open, so it wasn't the most comfortable cafe ambiance. By the time we had actually received our food, almost an hour had passed. While we were waiting, a few other servers eventually joined, but service was still pretty bare for us and we never received refills on water or plates to eat off of when we received our food. I understand that staffing and a backup in the kitchen are out of the staff's control, but it would've definitely helped for us to know in advance how long to expect to wait to align our expectations and arrange our plans for the day. Would advise giving customers a quick heads up/warning because that on its own would've made a big difference. As for the actual food, we ordered the mac trio with elote mac, chicken pot pie mac, and kogi short rib mac (for an extra fee). The elote mac was the best and most flavorful, the short rib mac was okay but not amazing or worth the extra money, and the chicken pot pie mac was very bland/flavorless and didn't have much chicken in it. The food didn't feel like it warranted the wait time and because of that I would not return.

I also recently tried the Chopped Beef burger and dang it was amazing. The hearty meat and cheese the and buttery bread texture hit hard. This will be another go-to and I recommend it.
