This kohls is a great store a lot better than the one on Main st. So much more clothes and selection. Huge variety of Nike, under armour, adidas, vans, juicy couture and so much more brands I kept eyeing left to right. They even have a second level which is mostly shoes. read more

Have come here many many times and each time it's usually for a return or a pickup of an order from online. I am an online shopper for pretty much everything other than food and so my returns are once a week almost. Every time I come in to do a return specifically you go upstairs to customer service and sometimes I have a receipt and sometimes I don't. I have a Kohl's credit card and so it's very easy to do returns. Never have a problem with feeling pressured to buy something else, staff is pretty swift and knowledgeable. And if I used Kohl's cash I get it back. If I come here for a pickup that I ordered online it is quick and efficient I barely have to wait. Tip #1: customer service is upstairs all the way tucked in the corner by elevators this is where you do returns and online pickup Tip#2: while in store, if you cannot find something such a size you need you get free shipping in store to your home. There are kiosks you can use but I prefer the app Tip#3: if you are a Kohl's credit card holder you have some advantages such as you do not need a receipt for a return. Kohl's recently agreed to take on Amazon.com customers and use their department stores to make it easier to return items for refund or replacement. Kohl's is 10X better than going to UPS Store or one of their local Distribution Centers. When I visited, there was plenty of parking, signs directing 1st timers as to where to go (it's at Kohl's Customer Service area on the 2nd floor, U-turn at the top of the escalator and make your way to the back wall and you'll see Customer Service). You don't even need your original packaging for the Amazon item being returned, just bring back everything and either your pre-printed Amazon bar code, or show your QR scan square provided when you initiated your return with Amazon. That's it! They'll print a return confirmation label, and possibly a discount coupon good for 10 days from the date received. Mine was a 25% off coupon good for 1 item. another last minute run to get stuff before going on the plane back to HI. I need some stuff to keep cozy on the plane ride home to HI. It amazes me that the store is not crowded at all- there are people but not tons and tons of crowds like I would expect if the store were in say HI for example. Yes, there are closes all around on the ground in the trying on room- I don't think that the womens changing room would be better than the mens changing room but you never know- it seems that there were more women attendants working there that would be able to clean and clear up around the womens changing room. The mens changing room seems to need an overflow bin that is non-existent. Again- all the workers there seem more than able and willing to be as helpful as they can be- especially at the cashiers offering different suggestions (up-selling) which is fine and good that they don't take offense when they are turned down from an additional sale but still are helpful with receipt and knowing return policies.. Of course this place looks cheap. It's Kohl's. Not your Nordstrom or Saks outlets. While most of the clothing here is not worth purchasing, occasionally you can find some goodies. That is, if you want to scour the racks. This location isn't more or less inviting than any other spot. It's conveniently close to my place of work and the mall I do most of my shopping at. Most of the time I head to Kohl's when I need some scrappy t-shirts that I don't mind abusing. The best thing they have to offer are their cheap pairs of black flair pants in short. They're not jeans so I can get away with wearing them at work. And they're black, so I'm within cafe dress code. I've gotten some other good stuff at Kohl's before like a corduroy jacket, nice heels (not too dressy and close-toed for work), a bomb pair of comfy suede boots that are now falling apart (because I wore them everywhere), and a really comfy William-Sonoma sweater. I always make out really well at this chain. Just remember, don't take it too seriously. read more

I have never been inside this store. EVER. I even live 5 minutes away. I came here in need of a bath robe, I went everywhere. Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, walmart, jcpennys...and NO WHERE it was ALL seasonal. I came here, hoping it was going to be here. Went to the intimates section *ahhhhhh* there it is, glorious display of different designed bath robes, and what else? ON SALE! oh yeah baby. I can't believe I never been inside a Kohls! It's like a smaller version of macy's/jcpenny! They have candies shoes, and other great designer brand name clothing, and accessories. I came on a day where a lot of things were 30-70% off! and they have Vera Wang collection of purses!! man oh man, what a bad idea it was FOR ME because now I know I'll be back here for their stuff! The service is super friend, especially the guy that works up on the 2nd floor when returning items, very quick and and helpful. I appreciate customer service like that a lot, since I know what's like to be in that position. Anyway, the parking lot is always empty too. There is always close by parking. I love it! read more

This review is only focusing on the makeup section which has improved so much. I honestly think Kohl's is giving places like Ulta and Sephora some competition with brands such as the Balm, LORAC, Pur Minerals, Essie, Cargo, and Real Techniques. They've added a lot of higher end makeup that was previously sold at Sephora. Apart from the new brands they also have exclusive little sets which make great birthday or holiday gifts. Aaaand you can use your Kohl's coupons on the makeup which is something you can't do at Sephora. If you're looking to buy high-end makeup at good prices then I would recommend checking out Kohl's. read more

Worst place to buy gifts for people even with receipts I took back 5 dresses and the total was 56.36 but they said I only get back $31.36 which I was able to get a $20 mascara and $20 lipstick because everything is over priced and the clothes is ugly. If I could leave 0 stars I would... Today I was at kohls and received the most hideous customer service! I approached the customer service desk upstairs and was not even acknowledged she was talking on her radio, ok that's not a big deal I understand that's how the store communicate but the look she gave me was like how dare I be there! Anyways when she finally spoke to me about 3 mins after I was standing there I ask about the price guarantee. I explained that last week I had purchased a large amount of cloths and now they were all on clearance. I asked if she could adjust my receipt to which she responded I needed to bring the items back! I asked would it be possible to just use the receipt and key the SKU she said NO it would take her to long and it would be easier for her if I just bought the items back. I said that's not very convenient for me! I said ok I will go and find the manager, she said oh well! Are you kidding me! So I find the manager and explained what had happened and he said he would have to talk to her. He offered me no resolution and was trying to hurry off. No wonder the service is bad here if the management don't care why would his employees?! Luckily I have all the merchandise at home tags on and also a lot more from previous shopping trips. so i rarely ever go to kohls...but...i had been receiving $10 coupons in the mail, so i decided to stroll in one day...i LOVED IT...it was a little on the pricey side, but i had the coupons so it didnt really matter... ok, so fast forward like 2 days, i go during the evening and am looking for a shirt in my size...i ask the associate to check if they had any in stock...took her about 20 minutes...they didnt have any, but they did have one at the kohls off the 805, so i told her to tell them to hold it for me cause i would be on my way to get it... i show up to the other location and ask the cashier if they had the top in front...they searched for it and couldnt find it...so i headed towards the back to customer service...guess what?...they didnt have it back there either! i had the girl check like 3 times to make sure it wasnt misplaced...no luck, so i headed back to the womens section on a mission to find it...it wasnt there.... finally i just got so fed up i asked another associate who was working the womens area...she said that NO ONE called reguarding the top i had been searching for...and she knew no one called because they would have to call her dept first (womens)...OH HELL NO! i was beyond pissed...and...i felt like such an ass because i had treated the customer service rep like shit when in reality it wasnt even her fault!!! i swallowed my pride and went back to go apologize to the lady ( thankfully she accepted) then, i asked them to call the eastlake store because i was gonna raise hell... it gets better...i called the store and waited to speak to a manager...once i had him on the line, i explained to him what had happened and right in the middle...he HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! i called back and you best believe i let them have it ( everyone in the customer service area was cheering me on, it was awesome) ...funny thing was i had to speak to ANOTHER manager because the one who hung up on me was MIA...HAHAHAHAHA read more

I would never think to come in to kohl's on regular day just because the quality seems cheap. I had no choice because a friend of mine drove and needed to pick up a few things along the way. Upon walking in a cashier made eye contact but failed to greet us I was shocked it only takes about 5 seconds to smile and say hi. I was checking out the intimate section when I overheard two of the employees (male and female) having a not so discreet conversation about "plans" that they had that evening (PERSONAL!!!) I could have sworn one of them was a supervisor I was shocked I felt beyond uncomfortable. And to add on to that they never acknowledged me or felt the need to take their conversation elsewhere. I will never return to this store I felt like an invalid customer and VERY uncomfortable. Overall the prices are affordable and they have a wide variety of departments but so does target and your local walmart. pros... if are out in the eastlake area, and you are looking for the mervyn's replacement, then this is the place for you. so it's just another department store, clothes, perfume, housewares, luggage, jewlery, and small appliances and furnishings too. fun place to go to just waste some time. i pretty much only go when i have a coupon for the place. i usually check out the housewares and appliances here. that's about it for me. but with the coupon it sort of makes the trip worth while. cons... nothing really, the last time i was here it was pretty messy and the place had a disshevelved look to it. the people were missing in action when i needed them, and all over me when i didn't. and they were plum out of the thing i was looking for. oh well. better luck next time. read more

Great deals, TERRIBLE customer service. First of all, my husband and I walked around upstairs for almost an hour with no help in sight. The fitting room attendant was beyond rude to both of us, especially my husband who was waiting outside with our cart of more than $500 worth of merchandise. When we finally made it to checkout and the cashier was extremely ignorant about kohls cash and any of their promotions and had to call her manager to ring us up. I recently started shopping at Kohls this winter as my first purchase was online for Black Friday. I love how Kohls gives you Kohl's cash to spend on future purchases when you meet a certain dollar amount of spending. It really helps as far as savings. Online, they offer better and more variety than this location. Went there this week to check out the workout clothes/Nike gear and it was limited to just one rack. Big disappointment since online they have a larger selection. Their men's nike selection is bigger than the women's though. As far as clothing, some items look nice, but the prices are inflated, even with the discounts they offer. I'll stick to H&M, Macy's, etc. for that. Their makeup and perfume selections are ehhh... I'll stick to Sephora or Nordstrom. They do however have a great selection of baby and toddler clothing that are generally well priced. I usually end up using my Kohls cash on that. They actually had a better selection of clothing for baby's and toddlers in store which was nice. Customer service seems to be an issue reading other reviews but I have yet to have a negative experience. We've dealt with the returns dept., cashiers, and floor reps and they were all so friendly and nice. read more
