Yesterday, I came in to pick up an order which was a gift. I've never been to this particular store so I definitely wasn't familiar with where pickup location was. As I'm roaming the store, I do notice security started following me upstairs and downstairs. I picked up my order and decided to shop inside Sephora.. and surprise... security followed me inside and stayed the entire time I was there. I felt awkward lol as if I couldn't shop in peace and uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that I had to look up this store on Yelp to see if I was going crazy and I'm not based on past reviews lol. Seems like this store has trust issues and it looks like they do follow their customers extensively. Maybe they've had a lot of thieves in the past, who knows? I had a great experience with my Amazon return at Kohls. I walked right in and didn't have to wait in line. The young lady was so friendly. After returning my package I received a 25% coupon so I went shopping. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. There clearance rack had great deals! This is a nice Kohls in Sun Valley. The juniors section is quite large, but the dress section is lacking. I never get any cell phone service while inside. I'm convinced there are cell service blockers in place. The store is usually clean and the management is on top of getting cashiers to come over when a line forms. read more

This place seriously needs to improve. Long check out lines on the weekends. The shoe department is so unorganized. Shoes on clearance really are not on clearance. Just placed there. Also the shoes aren't organized as a pair. The clothing are mostly on the wrong hangers, making you double check sizes. The clearance rack is a joke. XL in Medium section. I heard a worker ask a customer if they were "going to fix that." "That" was an article of clothing placed on top of a rack. I'm guessing the workers are overwhelmed with a high pace department store. However, the lady that was on the register, Judy, was extremely nice!! That made my experience better at the checkout. Overall, I dread coming to this Kohls. Hire more workers to keep the place organized, and the long lines disappear. read more

I love shopping at Kohls. Avoiding the mall at all costs is what I always try to do and kohls really helps, I find everything I need there all the time at great prices. There is always great deals, rewards, and cash back when you shop more. Anyway, I've been to a lot of Kohls, this one being the closest to me. And recently I'd like to say they change management because it is fully stocked! A lot of the times I would go and it would be a mess, and I could not find what I needed but NOW, it's great! I was stopped outside of the store by a loss prevention employee. She asked me about the "shirts in your bag that you didn't pay for." Confused, I opened my reusable bag to show her the sweater I had just purchased. She said that she didn't know where I put them but that I didn't pay for them. I was mortified that I'd be accused of stealing after just making a purchase. I kept showing her my bag because i didn't understand where she thought i was keeping these shirts. I told her I tried the shirts on and left them on the rack in the fitting room, she assured me again that I did no such thing. I'm obviously pissed and now other customers are walking out and staring at me being stopped for stealing. She kept saying, "I'm being cool I just need you to return the shirts."I had to tell her I was NOT being cool because I am being accused of stealing AFTER making a purchase! I started walking back into the store to show her the shirts and I think she might've realized I was telling the truth and she said "fine if you say so I'll have to take your word for it." Really?! You are so certain that i am stealing from your store but you're allowing me to walk off with the merchandise? I said, "no, you don't need to take my word for it let's walk" I walked towards the fitting room and saw another employee grab the shirts from the go back rack and run to the front of the store with them. I don't want to think that they moved them so that they didn't look stupid but why would you need to move 2 graphic tees so quickly to the front? At this point I'm not trying to stay any longer than i need to so I wasn't going to bother with accusations. I approached her, asked her for the shirts, and went to look for the person who stopped me. I couldn't find her so i asked for the manager, while I waited the person who stopped me came back so I gave her the shirts and told her that before she embarrassed someone and accused them of stealing she better make sure that she's right. She treated me like a thief and a liar over 20$ of merchandise. No thanks Kohl's. read more

My first and last time at this Kohl's ! One of the worst experiences I've ever had. You wanna experience discrimination ?go to this location! They had 2 cashiers at customer service; one for amazon returns and another one for Kohl's. I had few items for amazon return , while my cashier was helping me with my transaction, a lady from the line started yelling and demanding another person to help her with her Kohl's return . Let's just say she didn't stop there ... started giving me and the employee helping me the biggest attitude . When I tried to explain her how Jessica( the only nice person there )was only doing amazon returns ,she got very aggressive and started harassing me. I was looking for a place where I could get last minute Easter presents for my nieces and nephews and Kohl's was the closet one plus they closed at 11pm. My daughter and went there a little past 8pm and the store was still busy. It was very organized so we found everything we needed in less than 30mins. Ana, the cashier was very helpful and insisted that I applied for a Kohl's credit card since they had a 30% off offer if you got approved. So I went for it and what was originally $72 went down to $42! Great deal!!! read more

So last night I drove from Santa Clarita to Sun Valley to pick them up. I also had a return. So I went to Customer Service, Jose was great. :) He felt bad giving me the lowest price for my Nikes. Note to senior management: staff on the floor should be properly trained to help maintain a positive shopping experience for your consumers. I started coming to Kohls about 1 year ago and i love this store. The prices are really reasonable and i am always getting coupons in the mail for them. They always have good sales and alot of times their clearance stuff is cheaper at check-out. I once got like 5 pairs of boxer shorts on clearance and expect to pay like $10 and when the girl rang it up...it came to like $3....Sweeeeeeeet!! Kohl's is by far the poorest run store i have ever dealt with. From the customer service, to the auto response via email to the in-store experience. Understaffed is an understatement. On line they profess to "hassle free returns" - NOPE.. begining with packages arriving with NO packing slip OR a packing slip where the "easy return label" has been removed. Rather deceptive. Took 3 phone calls, over an hour to realize there was going to be no help from the store in returning the items. Had to physically go to the store, wait over 30 minutes in line to return items. I am disgusted at the way I was treated at the Kohl's Sun Valley location around 4:30pm on Sept 20th, 2018. I am particularly disappointed in the manager and employee working the Amazon returns at this time. They were rude and cold and even ignored me at times. I could not get any clear answers to any of my questions and I was given wrong information and no apology. As a customer and Khol's card holder for 11 years this behavior is enough to make me want to take my business elsewhere. I was polite the entire time and was met with uninterested and snooty customer service, although I wouldn't call it service at all. I understand that new policies that I am unaware of are implemented. I also know that there are exceptions and if not, there is no reason to have my inquiry be met with nasty attitudes. Just went in today and tried to use my kohls cash. It expired in February, but it's never been a issue at the Woodland Hills location. The cashier refused to take it and didn't offer any explanation or apology. I thought the Kohls policy was to say yes to the costumer if there is something they can do to resolve the situation. Macy's prices... definitely NOT Macy's. Here's the thing about Kohl's. Without a coupon AND a major sale, you're almost definitely getting ripped off. While it's only like 5-10 minutes away from me, I rarely ever go here because A) it's in a pretty ghetto neighborhood, and B) almost nothing is ever reasonably priced. The ONLY things I've bought from here that I considered to be a good deal were a couple of boxed, gold plated or silver necklaces for some friends that I bought for around $20 with a coupon. They were pretty cute, and already boxed, but there was also a sale going on so.. Otherwise, i wouldn't have bought it at the original price. Their "original prices" are generally extremely high. It's sort of like a Sears meets a JCPenney, in my opinion. The only SAVING GRACE is their EXCELLENT return policy. You can return any item in any condition at ANY time for anyyy reason. Literally. Just have the receipt. I think if you don't, you might even be able to get a gift card, even if it's been a while. My mom returned a burned gold necklace (yes, cooked in the oven, don't ask!) and received money back to her card right away. Pretty damn sweet. read more

My first time returning Amazon items at Kohls. I got to the 2nd floor after waiting in line on the 1st floor where a very kind cashier apologized to me about being in the wrong line and pointing me in the right direction. After exiting the escalator I began searching for signs. Yvonia who looked like she was coming back from a break, stopped and asked if I was looking for returns since I was carrying 2 boxes of the exact same item. Observant, helpful, an obvious problem solverYvonia u deserve a promotion! She walked me to the drop off on her way back to work. I hv 2 b honest the only place I get this kind of treatment is when I shop at Barney's. Nordi's used 2b like that, but not anymore. I hv to pay for good customer service. However, after this experience that fact is not true. It is based on the people you have representing your company. Everyone was efficient and even though the lines were long, it went by quickly 10 min max. They gave me a 25% off coupon w/ my return ticket. I had never been to kohls, so I walked around the 2nd floor then the 1st. I was on my way out when I saw a line by Vera Wang... so I stopped to check it out. I ended up buying a VW jumpsuit and a 9to9 green blazer. W/ the 25% coupon it was a no brained. While waiting in line, Jesus was finishing up with customers before he helped me. I was so impressed with the way he was respectful, professional, and kind to the elder group of women b4 me. He helped me quickly, kindly, and professionally. Jesus added me to the point system and gave me a 10 off coupon for the next time. I walked out paying 81.28 saving 57.77 after sale price and 25% off. Went bra shopping and although they had cute undergarments they weren't all busty girl friendly. Good selections but they're pricey. You'd think they'd be cheaper but nope. Good if you have a coupon, it will really help you out. The store is clean and the staff is helpful. The cashier forgot to put the wallet my dad purchased into the bag. I called to see if I can get it or the money back. Although they needed the receipt and all the info on it (register and product #, time and date) to review the surveillance tapes, there was no hassle and I was able to get the wallet and was out the door in two minutes. read more
