    Large extra scoop!

Always perfectly customised poke bowls What's great about Koiboto is the constant refresh of fresh, larger selection ingredients, including shrimp, octopus, tuna, salmon and tufo. Large selection of veggies to make a great salad or rice bowl, even cauliflower rice as an option. Can't choose? Koiboto has a selection of set flavourful bowls as well as the ability to add/remove ingredients to customise to your taste Koiboto also has a great app and rewards. This location has always provided fast, fresh food and staff are very attentive to choices. For your own customised bowls, choose from the number of proteins you want added and the staff weigh out each one to ensure you are getting your money's worth. A huge selection of sauces, veggies and toppings are available to help onto your bowl Love this!

Complete transparency the sushi we had here, there is no way it was actual sushi grade. The flavor of all the other ingredients here were very crisp and fresh, sauces were amazing. The drink products here aren't name brand which is whatever not a big deal. It was really good, minus the fact the sushi quality was bad. All 3 of us agreed the salmon was what you would buy at the store, and the next day leftovers; it was already starting to rot. It wasn't the belly fat, oily, delicate salmon you would get at a traditional poke or sushi place. Charging premium prices for subpar product is kind of insane and we wouldn't recommend this place solely for that fact and won't be back due to quality. There's way too many other places in the area.

Stopped in here tonight for a snack of poke bowl!! It was an excellent choice if I do say so myself!! The poke bowl rocked it!! It was scrumptious with fresh pineapple and edamame on it with Hawaiian ahi. Perfection!! The nice crew member gentleman who helped me was so nice and had great customer service!! He represented the restaurant nicely. Inside was nice and clean which I always look for. Smelled fresh! Next time I'm up this way I'll remember to come back again!! Thanks!!

    Medium-sized Poké Bowls

I received a BOGO coupon from Facebook and thought I would give this place a try. It has the same concept and set up as many other poke shops. You start by choosing your bowl size, then your base, proteins, and toppings. Clean environment with indoor and patio seating. I redeemed two medium-sized bowls which allowed me to choose a maximum of three proteins. I got ahi tuna, salmon, and Hawaiian tuna with white rice and a variety of toppings. Service was slow because they weighed every protein on a scale for the exact ounce. It was very time-consuming, especially when the staff accidentally scooped the wrong protein. I was not a fan of the white rice, it was way too wet and mushy. It was worse after driving home and the juices from the protein/toppings made it even more soggy. While the raw fish was fresh, not all the toppings were, some seemed like they had been sitting out for a while. It is nice to see different food options in the area, but I was not impressed on my first visit.

I love Koibito Poke! It earned the honor of Best Poké in the Phoenix New Times and I agree with them. I usually frequent the Gainey Ranch location but this one is closer to work so I stopped by on my way home. It's located in a shopping area with many businesses and I found a parking spot right in front of the entrance. They recently opened in the place of Wow Wow lemonade (locations in Scottsdale and Ahwatukee). The employee helping me was wonderful and so patient when my app wasn't working. I got my usual: a small bowl with greens and white rice, salmon, Hawaiian tuna, sesame oil, champagne butter, spicy shoyu sauce, edamame, cucumber, shaved brussels sprouts, green onions, jalapeños, pineapples (first time), crab mix, masago, and dried toppings. They have soy sauce and Sriracha in addition to chopsticks and forks. There is seating inside and a cute patio outside with several tables, which is where I and the other customers sat. My bowl was great but I definitely needed soy sauce. I wouldn't get pineapples again, I don't really like them anyways but I do like idea of a sweet flavor in the mix (which is why I'll add mango if available at a poké spot). Overall it was tasty but I would recommend a larger size if you want to be full. I still had room! They have an app which you can use to order and earn points for rewards. It wasn't working for me but if you get a receipt (print or email) you can add your points easily. Happy to see Koibito expand and wish them lots of success!

    SMALL POKE BOWL

Finally tried the poke from Koibito. I ordered through Uber Eats because they had to buy one get one free deal, which was great way to try it. It took them much longer to prepare the meal than they quoted. It said 30 minutes, but it was just under an hour. By the time I received the meal as I was tracking it on Uber Eats. I noticed that it took a long time for the location to prepare it, not for the driver to pick it up or deliver it. what I got was just OK. The small is extremely small and barely fills the bowl. The toppings were fresh, however, it felt like there was barely a scoop of the proteins. The spicy tuna is extremely light in color, which leads me to believe they don't use a very high-grade tuna.

The patio to eat outside for lunch or dinner with my best friend Einstein He gets the edamame & miso soup a lot :)

The inside is cute and clean, and it wasn't too busy or packed. There was also parking right in front. I ended up ordering the beef patty loco moco and my aunt got the teriyaki something. I did not like my loco moco at all... everything was cooked well! I just don't have the tastebuds for a loco moco. The owner listened to me tell him why I didn't like it, saw how disappointed I was, and surprised me with a container of teriyaki chicken and white rice. I'm more of a sweeter teriyaki person (there's is more savory) but the meat was cooked SOOO well and as you can see, I really enjoyed it. My aunt liked her food as well. All in all I'd be back. The star of the show is really the owner, his sense of humor is great. But Alex... please do something about that restroom! You know better. "What part of Hawaii are you from?" "Hong Kong."

It took around 20 minutes for the entire meal to be cooked. The Loco Moco was decent. The hamburger patty was burnt and small though. The scrambled eggs and gravy was delicious. The Chicken Katsu and Kalua Pork was okay. There was a lot of breading on the Chicken Katsu. Overall, we had a good experience at Love Hawaiian BBQ.

Shame on me to not share this gem that should be celebrated by all. First, the mac salad at Leo's is hands down my favorite! For the entree, anything curry, shrimp or chicken. I am drooling as I write this! The curry hits you in all the right spots as you take your first bite. The vegetables with the curry are firm enough to not turn into mush and tender enough to eat without teeth :-).... I do not think I've had a plate at Leo's that I have not enjoyed. The dinning area is always clean, even when the line is out the door. The drink station and condiment area is equally as clean and orderly regardless of the amount of people inside. As for the crowds, I've seen UFC fighters, baseball players and ordinary folks like you and I getting their fix at Leo's! I love seeing the same employees for the years that I've been going. I liked their chicken and short rib plate, there was chicken katsu, bbq chicken, and beef short rib for $17, which is very good price. The chicken katsu was crispy and not dry on the inside. The short ribs was grilled perfectly and not burnt. However, I'm not a big fan of their garlic shrimp, it wasn't garlicky enough for me, and kind of lack of what garlic shrimp should have-flavor. The amount of shrimp was generous though. Overall, good price and will try other plate next time.

When the lady asked what I wanted to order I asked if there was a plate with the katsu and short rib. If it can't be done, just say no. But she said 'yea' and rang me up for a 'custom' plate. I sat in that drive through for about 10 mins after paying and she gives me my plate, I leave. Get all the way home, my plate is wrong - I should have checked this in the drive through but benefit of doubt, ya know. I was so irritated about it though, I called and they knew exactly who I was when I said my food was wrong and said I could come back. I at first agreed, but was working and had already burned through my lunch. So I called back and asked for refund. Again, the girl I was talking to said I needed to come back to the store with my card for it. I said I was not about to be driving back and forth, she offered the store credit, so I took that. Saturday, after running my errands I went back thinking I should go before I or they forget. I go in, the girl that helped me must have been there the day prior because as soon as I mentioned the incorrect plate she remembered my plate and spoke to the man preparing the food. When she brought out my food she repeated my order, I said yes and still checked my food. It was right but there was 1 dry short rib amongst a good amount of chicken- instant annoyance. In the lady's defense, they did both ask about it. But I just waved it off and left. I don't think I should have to tell you, you know what you served- bs. Anywho, Ono won't see another red cent from me. at least not this location.

The beef sticks were pretty solid. Perfect amount of char on the onions and meat was pretty chewy in a good way very moist and the lime curry dipping sauce was a very good touch to go with it honestly, the pork sandwich though the amount of coleslaw they put on it was way too much and it ended up making a huge pool of coleslaw sauce underneath the bun so every time you picked up the sandwich, it would be just leaking constantly of coleslaw juice. It was way too much and it ruined the sandwich completely the meat in the sandwich at least was really good. It's just a coleslaw. Definitely ruined it funny enough I happen to look at somebody else who had caught in coleslaw, but on their tacos instead, and I was seeing the guy draining his taco because there was so much coleslaw juice they really need to fix that and then they got rid of the lobster bisque soup which was really one of the best things they had what a huge letdown there
