I ordered from Uber Eats and was pleased with my order! I love poke and have tried some other poke spots in Burbank as I'm new to the area and haven't found a spot I've liked yet. My boyfriend recommended this place but told me it's hard to find parking (which is why we did delivery). They have a nice range of options and even make rolls! It's more like handrolls but it's cheap and good so I can't complain. They seem to only have one size option online which is three proteins. I can handle my heat but the spicy mayo was pretty spicy! I love it but just warning people who can't handle it. I love that this place sells boba as well. AVOID THIS PLACE!! I had been coming here for a couple years and unfortunately, it's not the same anymore. The quality of the food has gone down as well as their management is completely careless when it comes to both their employees and customers. When I went there last, I had ordered salmon and tuna only and normally they give four scoops of each fish but instead I paid $12 for only a few pieces. We had called the restaurant and spoke to the manager who was unbelievably rude and did not care to resolve the issue. What kind of "manager" doesn't care about their customers especially the unhappy ones. My co-workers and I have been consistently going here for over 2 years. We used to go almost every other day of the week because of how much we loved the place. The manager/owner used to be an awesome lady who knew all of us by name because of how much we stopped by. All of her employees were so happy and would also strike up conversations with us and generally looked like they enjoyed working there. I don't know if they recently had a change of management/ownership or what but the quality of the place has gone down the drain and I never see the friendly, awesome lady or her employees anymore. They over charge and skimp out on the food not to mention always getting something in our orders wrong/missing. They are always short staffed and the food takes forever to come out. The new manager/owner yells at and mistreats all of his employees to the point where they look like they're about to cry. (No wonder they're short staffed! They can't keep any of their employees!) I have never seen/heard an employee be so panicked and apologize so much within the 40-45 mins I was there ordering and waiting for my food because they're understaffed and the wait is long. I had to tell the employee "It's OK. It's not your fault." at least 7 times that day. I was recently there with a coworker/friend who suffers from stuttering. He was struggling to get a word out and the new manager/owner made a gesture as if to say "come on get on with it already" or "spit it out". This guy has no respect for his employees or customers and doesn't seem to care about the restaurant and where he's leading it. I ordered shrimp tempura in my poke bowl (WHICH IS A NORMAL MENU ITEM) and the girl who took my order gave me major attitude as if it was SUCH an inconvenience. Clearly shows how much they care for their job/doing the right job. Last week they got two of our orders so horribly wrong and when we called to speak with them to resolve the issue calmly and in a mature manner, we spoke with a girl who identified herself as the person in charge/shift lead on duty and she was so unnecessarily rude. She responded multiple times with "there's nothing I can do" and finally said "I can't wait to read your bad reviews!" before ending the call. Walking home, from the Downtown Burbank Classic Car Show 2019, I decided to pick up takeout. Kokoroll seemed convenient. They specialize in Japanese poke bowls, nori rolls and taiyaki (dessert stuffed pancakes). Two nori rolls are equivalent to one sushi roll. So I bought five nori rolls: tofu, avocado, cucumber, spicy tuna, beef teriyaki. They were pretty basic and made to order. The avocado roll was skimpy stuffed. I used a dribble of light soy sauce, because it was mostly rice. The spicy tuna packed plenty heat. Too much hotness seems to be a bad thing. Cucumber was crunchy, fresh and delicious. Tofu bland, but stuffed well and dribbled soy sauce necessary. Beef teriyaki was perfectly combination of flavors. Friendly customer service. read more

What a great find in the heart of downtown Burbank. It's a lowkey joint that allows you to customize your own sushi burrito (yes, I said it, a sushi burrito!), poke bowls, and açaí bowls. As far as I know, this is the only or one of the few establishments in Burbank that make sushi burritos as well as taiyakis. I haven't had their taiyakis yet but I am eager to try them. I ordered two sushi burritos - one for myself and one for my boyfriend. We ordered a customized bulgogi sushi burrito and a customized tuna, spicy tuna, and salmon burrito. They were delicious! The seafood was fresh and the toppings we chose complemented the flavor of the fish. The portion is good for the amount you pay. Will definitely eat coming back here again to try other items on their menu. Parking can be found on the street or the small lot adjacent to their building. You can get better boba for the same price within walking distance. Service: Just okay. I hopped over to Kokoroll as a first-time patron yesterday around 6pm with my sister. There were three young guys working there, all friendly and helpful. I explained to them that I had some dietary restrictions and I ordered a maki hand roll with no rice and a poke bowl with no base. The cashier kind of looked at me, puzzled, going, "but without the base you're going to be paying too much and not getting very much food! Let me see if I can switch up your order to charge you less." It was so sweet that he felt compelled to accommodate me in this way. I assured him that the price for the bowl was fair, even without a base. And he exclaimed, "Well, maybe we can give you extra protein. I will do my best." And my sister and I sat to wait for the order. The wait time wasn't too bad. It looked like the two gentlemen in the back were making toppings from scratch (impressive!) and there were other customers who were continually coming in to pick up phone orders or to order directly. The fish is always fresh and the employees are very friendly. The one thing I would like to comment on is their rice. I was impressed at how fresh all the ingredients were in the bowl that I asked for. The place is so clean and organized. As you walk in they have you fill out a check list of what you want to order which makes it easier & faster vs you telling them one by one. The workers were super friendly as well. My only concern is that this bowl ended up being pretty expensive but it does definitely live up to the portion size you get in return. The menu is simple, the place is clean, the fish is fresh and the portions are decent. I had been a frequent patron of the Glendale location until the commute from Burbank to Glendale on my lunch break started tiring me out. The regular size comes with 3 scoops of fish and is just enough to make me feel full without feeling gluttonous. Again, it isn't as much, but it's better quality in my opinion. Though as stated above, I did not get my side included (crabmeat). Hand rolls: I was actually really sad about this - I was REALLY looking forward to them but overall it was disappointing (hence the 3.5 overall). These aren't anything fancy, pretty much the protein, rice wrapped in seaweed and that's fine. The yellowtail was the best (and I'm not even a huge fan of yellowtail). Unfortunately, the blue crab and unagi were both WAY TOO SAUCY - to the point where I couldn't even finish the blue crab (which makes me sad, it's my favorite hand roll).
