I tried the cold brew once and it was alright. I wouldn't go out of my way to get coffee here. It's a tiny shop tucked on the second floor of QFC when you walk in. I'm kind of in love with the balcony style layout and the staff are friendly. I keep wanting to come back to try the food but it just never seems to be open when I'm there. read more

I came here with my daughter, after reading a yelp review, and we were not disappointed!! The menu is small, but focused, and the food is delicious! The proprietor is also very friendly as well.... he makes me think of Mr. Miyagi off the karate kid, if you were an extrovert! read more

As soon as we got there we were greeted with a smile and immediately serviced. The coffee was amazing and so was the food. I got a cappuccino and breakfast burrito, both of which I highly recommend. Perfect spot for a meeting or to get some work done. I'll be back! read more

Bland food; slow service Was visiting the area with my youngest and decided to try this place because of proximity and all the great reviews. I'm still scratching my head and thinking maybe it was just an off day. As others have said, the location is a little odd but still comfortable enough for a quick bite of breakfast and a coffee. Counter service was not especially friendly but was fine. And when our food did ultimately come up, it looked good and portions were fair. Taste wasn't bad; it just wasn't great, either. I wouldn't necessarily avoid Konvene, but I also would not seek it out. read more

An employee at the Gates Discovery Center recommended Kovene to us . . . telling us Konvene has the best sandwiches every! The owner is fun to speak with, professional, helpful, and provided efficient service. The food is delicious -- we split a turkey, etc., sandwich and each had a delicious brewed coffee. We sat at the counter seats and watched all the people/traffic go by. It was so welcoming and comfortable that we will visit again. Have already told some friends about Konvene as well. read more

Saw this place had incredible reviews so I had to try it! It's located upstairs at the QFC (once you walk in). I got the sausage egg and cheese burrito. The man makes it fresh and it came out after a few minutes. So yum and the peppers are definitely a great addition to the burrito. It's fairly sizable so it makes for a great breakfast too. I can definitely see why this place has such great reviews (mine included!). The guy was also very cool and nice. Definitely come by next time and even get some groceries downstairs afterward! read more

Piling on a bit... ordered the cojita toast, a mocha and then a cold brew to go. The toast and mocha were both excellent and reflect the owners understanding of how to balance multiple flavor notes to create food that is a notch above. The cold brew was also good reflecting a solid bean choice. I recommend anyone in the area make this recurring stop. read more

I'm so glad I found this place while I was in Seattle for a vacation. If you're closer to the Space Needle, please head to this place for a delicious kickstart to your day. I ordered their Lil Pepper lemon toast, half veggie sandwich, latte and an americano. Everything about this place is awesome, from the food to the people, you won't leave this place without a smile. Nice little coffee and quick bite cafe - we stopped in on a Sunday around 11 and no one was in line or dining at the available seats- the gentleman at the counter suggested the breakfast burritos so we got their Ham breakfast burrito, a bacon egg breakfast sandwich, a latte and a London fog. The breakfast sandwich was stupid good, that was for sure the standout dish for me! The drinks were warm and well made too, though the London fog didn't have much tea flavor in it. The sole guy at the shop took our orders, then right away made the items fresh you could hear the sizzling and see him there at the stove, and our items were out pretty quick. I can imagine there might be a wait if you bring a large party or if it's peak time, so keep that in mind if there's only one person on deck - they're working hard! We've never been as it's a bit tucked away above the QFC, (go into the QFC entrance then take the stairs or elevator up one floor- you'll see it right there) but I'd say it's worth a visit! read more

Wow wow wow! As my husband put it, "best breakfast sandwich I've ever had!" Konvene sits above a grocery store and next to a shared workspace. Walking in I was like oh man I made a mistake choosing this spot. Thankfully I didn't say anything to our group and just went with it because it was so worth it! The bacon, egg, and cheese on brioche with their garlic aioli was so darn good! And their chai tea latte hit all the right notes as well. We talked about this breakfast sandwich all day as well as made sure to tell some local friends they needed to go. read more

Seriously one of the best sausage egg sandwiches I've ever had! My brother discovered it a few months ago when he was visiting and he visited twice in the week he was here cause it was that good. Excellent coffee. Husband had a latte and I had an iced Americano with a splash of mocha. Breakfast sandwich with bacon was good too on a fresh bun. Sooooo good! The service was excellent too. Barista was very friendly and accommodated my specialty drink. Of course, he had to write it down ;) Ambience is not too noisy even though it is above a grocery store. read more

Located on the 2nd floor of a multi purpose building, this place isn't the typical standalone sandwich or coffee place you might be thinking of but don't be deceived, this place is legit. I ordered one roast beef sandwich and ended up ordering 3 more. It's THAT good. Using the freshest ingredients and toasted and arranged with care, this is the very definition of a perfectly crafted sandwich. The coffee is on point as well. This was my last meal of a week long Seattle trip and I can't think of a better place to end it. read more

The coffee is fantastic. I love the wide selection of teas too, and how much of their menu can be delivered. But also, the avocado toast here rocks. It's not your usual one-note avo toast (as tasty as these are), but rather features a sprinkling of cojita cheese, cilantro, shallots, and a couple of other things that elevate it into a complex, satisfying toast on the perfect slice of bread. Glad they are still around during/post-covid. I have only had them delivered, haven't visited the physical location yet. I can only imagine it feels like stumbling on some hidden gem - you don't expect a cafe of this caliber inside a grocery store. read more

Avery good breakfast sandwich. Egg wasn't runny, bacon was perfectly crispy, Macrina bun was tasty, and adding the avocado was the way to go. The place is above the QFC. You get to it by walking into the QFC on the SW corner and go up the stairs. read more

Really good service, but that's pretty much it that stands out. The coffee is good and inexpensive. I liked the burrito but nothing crazy. Konvene is doing its thing, serving the community with good coffee and good food at a good price. If you're in the area, then this will be your go-to especially after a QFC run. But otherwise, there's not much reason to seek this spot out specifically. read more

The food, coffee and service were all exceptional! Plus free WiFi which was great when I needed to do a bit of work and couldn't get home. Just wish they had better ambiance. It's above QFC and the grocery store noise filters up so you don't really get a coffee shop feel being there. That aside, the space is still well designed, clean and has a variety of seating options. I'd highly recommend their latte and avocado toast, I was very impressed! It was definitely one of the best avocado toasts I've ever had, from taste to presentation. And also as mentioned, the man who helped me (possibly the owner?) was very nice and helpful. Bottom line, their food, coffee and service is worthy of its own standalone space so I hope they are able to do that someday, they've got a really good thing going on! I'll be back for a drink or quick breakfast if I'm ever in that part of town. read more

Ordering can be done either in person or at a kiosk near the front. There's plenty of seating and while we entered in the late afternoon, there were still several people inside settled down on laptops. Osmanthus Oolong Tea, 16oz ($6.25) - This is a very lightly sweetened beverage with plenty of fragrant flowery flavor emanating from the osmanthus. It's a really clean flavor, not quite grassy, but somewhat green in essence, coming with just a slight astringent bite towards the finish. It's a good, clean iced tea. (4/5) Da Hong Pao Tea Latte ($7.50) - This latte has a nice strong balanced nutty flavor. I saw the barista pour milk into the cup up to maybe 3/4 full, so I'm surprised that the tea flavor is so strong in this drink. The milk adds tons of body but doesn't contribute an overwhelming dairy flavor. They add a lot more sugar syrup into this drink - it's probably equivalent to 75% sweet or so at a boba shop, although it's not harsh at all due to likely being pure cane syrup instead of fructose. (4/5) The tea quality at Chaco is pretty good. It's always nice to see a cafe (rather than a tea shop) with such great variety! The major downside - pricing is really high especially for some of the premium teas. It's like double the price of actual tea shops in Seattle. I guess that's the Seattle Center tax? Bathrooms - Shared with the rest of the building tenants.

The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming! Great selection of organic teas. I also got a hazelnut mocha and it was full-bodied and rich without being overly sweet. Perfect! I also love the avocado toast. I recommend it to EVERYONE. For the longest time I saw the signs for this place at QFC, but never walked up the stairs to try it out.
