We went through 3 wipes. The food tasted like thawed out and microwaved breakfast. Actually microwaved grocery store breakfast would have been better. I didn't take a picture because I didn't think I would leave a review. But after eating half of it, I thought I owed it to fellow travelers to at least post about our experience.

We got the Medici and the Coffee Thief (aka frozen latte). The Medici is pretty good - simple but refreshing and fruity. It had the right amount of sweetness and well balanced. It is a bit pricy compared to other drinks at other coffee shops. The Coffee Thief is a bit on the sweeter side, but the employee mentioned it is the least sweet drink in the blended series so imagine how sweet the other drinks are! However, it was creamy and filling. It is a good drink to get on a hot summer day. This place is self-serve with water available. There is good amount of seating, but it can be a bit unwelcoming with the bird poop that is scattered around a lot of the windows, but the windows and the ambience could be pretty inviting without this element. Overall, good, expensive coffee shop, but easy to get to as there are numerous Caffe Ladros around the Seattle area.

Unfortunately, they were not offering breakfast sandwiches on the day we visited, which was a large part of their food menu. The service was fast and friendly. This place does have a bit of a fancier vibe, so we opted to order and go since our kids were with us. They do have cute little seating options inside and outside- always a perk! We just ordered a drip coffee and a pistachio cream latte. The Pistachio Cream latte was amazing, but we wished it had a tad more pistachio flavor. The drip coffee was good. Located directly across the street from our hotel, Midtown Espresso is a cozy, locally family-operated establishment on 5th Avenue tucked in among Belltown's densest condos, where some of us started the day in Seattle last July.
