I've been bringing my family's 4 cars to this store religiously since it opened. I went in today and they told me my battery was bad and went as far as to show me a battery reading device that showed in the red. I swore my battery wasn't that old and I confirmed it with a 6 month old receipt that. I didn't want to make a hasty judgement. I still asked and was quoted $340 for a replacement battery. I then went straight to Autozone to have my battery life tested. Sure enough, it showed that I had 94% battery life left....practically new!!!! The rep there confirmed this was not the first time they had heard this from Valvoline customers. It's one thing for them to try to upsell me on wipers and air filters I don't need. It's another thing for them to try and fraudulently sell me a $340 battery (when I can get it at Autozone for $220. The fact that these techs were in possession of a device that's capable of providing a faulty reading on command leads me to believe this is a systemic issue within the whole organization and not just this store. That device is supplied by the company. I attempted to call the store manager and could only reach an off site phone operator who attempted to steer me to a complaint system and would not allow me to directly speak to the store manager. The rep shielding the store and their being layers in the complaint system reinforces my belief that this is an organizational issue that's not unique to this store or its employees. I won't be going back to this store or any Valvoline for that matter. read more

How is that you charge $80 for 4.4 quarts of full synthetic oil but on your website and at any local auto parts store I can buy 5 quarts of Valvoline oil for almost half the price. I would have declined the service if I knew the price but by the time your team member told me the total my car was already being worked on. This place is the place to go if you want a quick oil change with quality products and great customer service. Here's my story: I recently went to get an oil change and they're always quick to service those in the bay while you wait in line. The wait wasn't too bad and before I knew it I had my oil changed my fluids topped off, and I was on my way. Now, normally that's where the story would finish. However, I had a little bit of trouble with my oil filter not being sealed all the way. I was able to come into the bay and they were able to help me as soon as they could, and they fixed the problem before it became a bigger deal. I pulled in to get a routine oil change and got lucky with no other cars in the bay. The employees were quick (as usual) to greet me and get started on the service needed. They performed a check on all the vehicle lights, the windshield wipers, perform the oil change, balance the air in the tires and all under 15 minutes. I appreciate that they give you recommendations based on the make and year of your vehicle depending on the miles your car has. Pulled into the bay, everyone was very nice but I had this feeling that the guy working on my car did not know what he was doing, (maybe new?). Anyways everything was fine until I drove back home up north. Throughout the drive this sixth sense was telling me to check the oil levels which I ignored until today. Got out of work checked the oil in the parking lot and low and behold the reading was less than what was originally topped off at. Additionally my car started to smell like something was burning , which never has happened while visiting any oil change place. I figured I'd give them a call since I am unhappy with their workmanship and maybe they can provide a refund since I was not happy with the work, that was a fail. DONT trust them for anything more than an oil change. Twice they damaged my car. The first time they stripped one of the bolts on my tires. And they said I'd be fine if one was missing, just to get a new one soon. The SECOND issue was recently. They wanted to change a headlight and they tried, but it was a wiring issue. So they closed it back up and that was that. When I went to look at it myself I saw that they left the wire exposed and didn't even put the cap back on over the headlight wiring. Now I'm left without a headlight cap. Unprofessional and amateur. These mistakes could have been easily avoided. I'm overall unhappy with the services this Valvoline had provided. For a $198.93 oil change and tire rotation, I would think they could have used a clean rag on my freshly washed truck and filled up my tire pressure. DONT GO HERE THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOUR VEHICLE!!! I went to get an oil change and left a car tracker underneath the car, just to make sure if the car gets stolen I would know where it is. After we left I checked my phone then underneath the car (under drivers seat) and it was gone. It showed it still at the Valvoline store we had just left. When we went back we asked the manager Carlos who was super rude by the way if they saw it. We looked for a good 15-20 minutes but ultimately they said "We weren't anywhere near that part of the car" No accountability, no "I'm sorry this happened" from anyone. Not a single employee even asked what did it look like. But it's clear as day it's there in the shop and/or down in the pit. I even called corporate and talked to an executive, Leo who was also really rude and he said they aren't responsible. I am able to call the device and listen through it which we can hear us talking. I even made recordings from the device. No reimbursement, no accountability, these people will steal from your vehicles!! [Edited Post Reply] Yeah thanks for the reply.....Leo just called my friend and said "No we are not helping you now because of this bad review on Yelp.
