Everyone knows that little hole in the walls are usually good, so I took my mom here after reading the reviews. Area is meh, very traffic-heavg but parking was easy. The couple managing it were very cute and elderly. They don't come around often so that's both good (not annoying you as you eat) but sometimes it wasn't great because we would need something and you'd have to call them from over the tables. The tables/ambiance is really endearing and they try to make it as upscale as possible. The food: your standard Thai fare - everything was good but it was as if the flavor dial had been turned down one level. Flavorful, yes, but almost mildly so? I don't do spice so that had nothing to do with it, it was just mild flavors. Prices were fair for the amount you get, so I would recommend if you're in the area.

Food is a fair price, I also like!

What a great thai restaurant in my opinion. It's seemingly run solely by a nice couple that kind of meander about cleaning and doing chores until you're obviously ready to order lol but I was the only person eating so its not like they were ignoring anyone. It's new years day and all the Vietnamese places I tried were closed, so I was happy to find somewhere. I got red curry 2 star. It was the perfect amount spiciness. The server gave me water and left the whole pitcher on the table, which I did love. I brought a water tester with me, just something fun I like to do. This restaurant tested the cleanest water I have ever tested at low 30s out of 1000, so good for them! The prices were really reasonable, and I will definitely be back.

The BEST curry in Washington! No frills, not crowded, hearty portions and affordable! Very nice service

We were driving to the Auburn outlet mall and happened to see a Thai restaurant (Koong Thong Thai Cuisine) that looked like a Taco Time from the outside. I am glad it was a delightful find offering a solid selection of Thai favorites. Started off with the Tom Yum soup. It's everything you'd want in this classic dish--tangy, spicy, and full of depth. The broth is rich and aromatic, with just the right balance of lemongrass and lime, creating a refreshing yet comforting experience. The generous portion of chicken was cooked to perfection, making each spoonful a burst of flavor. It tasted a little too sweet for my liking else the spice level was perfect (4/5) Another standout is the Paenang curry. The creamy, coconut-based sauce has a lovely richness, with a slight sweetness that pairs beautifully with the tender chicken. The complexity of flavors in this dish is truly satisfying and keeps you coming back for more. I wish they had thrown in some vegetables to make the dish visually appealing and provide a textural experience. The Pud Woon Sen noodles is a perfect combination of glass noodles stir-fried with fresh vegetables and fried tofu (substitution). The sauce is light but flavorful, allowing the ingredients to shine. The noodles are cooked just right and the portion size is generous, making it a great value. The restaurant seems a bit cluttered though the 2 person staff are attentive and efficient. The service is solid. Overall, Koong Thong Thai Cuisine offers a reliable and enjoyable dining experience. I'll definitely be back to try more of their offerings! **THEY ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS**

TASTY! And the prices are SO reasonable. The portions are larger than other places. Each dish tastes different. You pick the dish you want then the protein you want to add in. We had spice level 2/5 and it had just the right amount of kick for our American palates. The yellow curry made the rice taste so delicious. The eggplant was cooked just right so that the texture was not mushy. The broccoli in the pad see ew was cooked so it still had some crunch. It was the weakest dish but only because the others were so good. The restaurant looks like it may have been a fast food place in the past but they have remodeled to make it a step above fast food with service almost as fast as fast food. And prices include rice, even with refills. Would definitely recommend. Would be great for families or a regular meal. Atmosphere not that romantic so maybe not a date night place.

If you live in around Auburn, try out this Thai place. Seems like a family- owned restaurant. Food was delicious and tasty. It could be spicy so if you couldnt handle the heat let them know. Service is always excellent when I got there. I'm not sure why it's not as busy as it should be. So Wishing them all the best as they continue to build and develop their business.

So we ordered four dinner entrees. Drunken noodle, pad Thai, beef and broccoli and Masaman curry. Out of the four, two of which were decent which is the beef and broccoli and the Masaman curry. Pad Thai looks and tastes as if ketchup was one of the main ingredients. Drunken noodle tasted as of they actually put beer in it, bitter and absolutely does not go with the dish at all! Per usual, drunken noodle aka pad kee mao is sweet and savory. Not here! Bitter and dry! I had to toss it and didn't get a chance to take a pic of any of the foods before it gets eaten by my clan. I should've listened to my daughter who thought this place was eerie when arrived at their empty parking lot. Upon entering, there was no customers at the dinning room. For a moment I heard a gentleman telling me he'll be right with me. Definitely my first and last time visiting this ma and pops spot. Sorry, not my jam.

I'm a Thai food enthusiast, and this is the best one in the auburn area. I work nearby and i even used to order their food daily. For me, their best food is the Pad see ew! Me and my fam have tried their other foods, their fried rice is average and their pad thai is average but very filling. Go to drink is their Thai tea ofcourse. Price: CHEAP compared to any other restaurants. Service: Don't go here and expect an amazing service like no other. It's a simple asian restaurant type where it's just normal. You get your food and water and nothing fancy. Ambiance: normal asian restaurant that includes food pictures on the menu, an empty aquarium, some asian items that's for good luck.

My boyfriend and I ordered take out because we previously had a positive experience. However, our…read morerecent experience was so awful. When I called in, the lady that took the call struggled to take down my order. She was not familiar with the menu at all. I patiently repeated my order several times but she responded by naming different dishes. I was not confident that she would place my order correctly, so I asked to speak to another staff. Once I arrived, the same lady asked me if I was dining in and I told her multiple times that I had ordered take out. Then I found out that the order was never placed so the kitchen never made our food. There were no other customers there so I don't know how they didn't put in my order since I had placed it 10 minutes prior. To make matters worse, once we got home, we found out that they gave us an incorrect order. Instead of crispy garlic chicken and rice, we received a shrimp pad kee mow. This was extremely disappointing because my boyfriend does not eat seafood and doesn't like noodles in general. We went out of our way to come to this restaurant and chose Sweet Rice over other options that are closer to us. Considering the poor service, we will not be coming back or recommend it to others hence the 1 star review. I generally don't rate restaurants based on the service but the service was so bad that I lost my appetite for their food. I understand having to train new employees but there should be quality control measures in place to ensure that customers have a decent experience while new staff are training.

Thank you Aileen for the complimentary chicken skins...mmm!!! Now that all my friends know where this place, I have to take my own family. Next time I want to try other items in the menu. Thank you Yelp for introducing me to this place, and now my friends know about it Thanks Aileen!!

The space is very cozy and reflects with the amount of parking options. I grabbed the food to go but live nearby and the food maintained its freshness along with its crispiness. I ordered The Combo Hainanese Chicken Rice which contained both the Steamed and Fried Chicken. Both chickens were cut nicely and I liked that the fried chicken was not overly breaded to maintain the balance. The rice tasted as expected with the slight hits of umami. The dipping sauce was nice and I left no leftovers. The broth was extremely bland and felt watered down and had a strange taste to it. Overall, would come back again when craving this dish but may stick to ordering to go due to the limited parking.
