She suggested going to this restaurant again and recalled how she would often go here when she resided in Federal way. Of course, I initially took her here on her first visit. I got the yellow curry fried rice, golden cashew with tofu and a Thai tea. Both dishes had a level 3/5 spice and were perfectly spicy! Thai tea was delicious as well, not too strong and the perfect ratio. Service was great and decor was cute as well. read more

The food tasters great, serving sized are good, thy listen to special instructions very well which is really nice because my mom is elderly and can't handle spicy anymore but loves this food that's authentic , we've asked for no spice at other places (which the food is delicious) but they still have some spice that she can't handle, when we ask for no spicy at all here they listen, so Mom's able to enjoy the this food without any problems! Our only issue has been with last uber driver who left the food without telling us it was delivered and then a squirrel decided he wanted to chew into our boxes of food! Swung thru with a buddy. Unfortunately the place was dead inside, but we saw bunch of pickup orders as we ate. Ordered the chicken satay, phad thai and pineapple fried rice. Their 3 star heat is Asian 3 star.. so there's a plus. Visually, the food looked avg at best.. however, the taste made up for the visual. Chicken satay. The vinaigrette with onion thing made that app pop. Phad Thai was missing sprouts and lime but had good flavor. Pineapple fried rice was surprisingly good. Our fav of the 3. 2 young servers. I mean, they could've add more veggies into their angel eggplant. The flavor was good but for this portion, it's not worth $15-$16! It didn't even fill up in my small bowl. Watered down flavors - disappointing after spending 27$ on dinner for myself. The whole point of Thai food is the amazing Thai chilis and basil etc. please don't water down the flavor it ruins the entire meal. We usually order takeout when I'm too whooped to cook- the website is user friendly and easy to navigate, the food is always prepared with the right spice level and freshly prepared to your order. We moved near here in September and we have ordered Take Out here at least once a month since living here and it's always delicious! I get the Pad Thai, TomKha soup and fried rice. I've gone here multiple times and love it! The food here is always well prepared and very flavorful. I have ordered multiple types of curry, but my favorite to get is the panang curry. The portions are generous and the consistency of the curry is perfect (it isn't too thick or thin, so it is soaked up by the rice well without having too much rice or curry left over to achieve this balance). I've also ordered the spring rolls and would definitely recommend them. After trying here, it's become one of my favorites if I'm craving Thai food. I have yet to eat inside, but the dining area is well decorated. I always order carry out, and love seeing the layout and decor. It feels cozy inside with cushioned seating and warm toned decor. The counter for the register as well as for fresh food to be set out is wide at the center of the restaurant and we'll organized. It's never been too busy inside, but it makes it nice and quiet when I visit. The food is also always prepared pretty quickly for takeout and hot/fresh. read more

We always go to the same Thai place, and wanted to try somewhere new. I wanted to see if we can add another place to our list of Thai places to dine at or order take-out; I've tried all the other Thai restaurants around the area, and I am not a fan of any of them, except for just one. Well, it looks like we are able to add one more to our list. My boyfriend and I thought the food was pretty good. Actually, he couldn't stop talking about how good his food was. He ordered the Phad Thai with prawns, and being the pig that I am, I ordered the Phad Thai with beef and the Chili Paste Fried Rice with calamari, both for myself. He thought the Phad Thai had more flavor than the Phad Thai that we always order from our favorite Thai restaurant. Indeed, the Phad Thai was very flavorful, and so was the Chili Paste Fried Rice. I ordered mine with 5 stars, and I could at least taste some kind of spice, where at most other places, I don't really taste any spiciness with their 5 stars. The only complaints I have is that either the Phad Thai doesn't come with bean sprouts or they forgot to add them, but Phad Thai just isn't the same without bean sprouts. That's one of the reasons I like Phad Thai. And mine was a little bit salty; I'm not sure if it was because of the beef. But squeezing lime over it helped, but I had to use the lime slice from my boyfriend's Phad Thai; mine didn't come with one. And for the Chili Paste Fried Rice, I thought it was kind of mushy, and the calamari was so thinly sliced that I couldn't enjoy much of the chewy texture of calamari that I love so much. Overall, everything had a lot of flavor, and we will definitely come back for more. read more

My husband and I had dinner here over the Summer. We had driven past it several times, and finally got around to stopping in for a meal. I had the red curry with chicken. I am a big curry lover, so I've had my share of great Thai curry over the years. This one was fairly disappointing. It was overly sweet, and really, no veggies to speak of. A couple of carrot slices (which were kind of an odd choice), and that was it. Typically, you'll at least see some veggies on top, such as, fresh red/green peppers, green onions, sometimes pea pods/snow peas, cilantro, or basil. But this was essentially a very sweet soup with a little bit of chicken in it. The restaurant was empty. We were the only people there. There was only one person working, and she hardly said a word. The decor was about 40 years out dated, a few dusty fake/plastic plants at what looks like used to be a bar, back in the 80's or 90's. Can't say it was anything to write home about. There are much better Thai restaurants close by, that are a big step up. Sorry guys! read more

Ordered garlic chicken wing and fried tofu appetizer and the duck and pad thai for entrees. The garlic chick was ok, not much garlic flavor but the chicken was good. Fried tofu was good. Curry duck- The gravy was pretty good. Had a good mix of veggies but the duck was way overcooked and dry. Pad Thai was average. The steak I added was also way overcooked, dry and not many pieces in my dish .. We won't be back. read more

She went back to tell the cook to redo our super salty Basil soggy fried rice, shortly after the cook came to the front desk and checked us out. We've been to many Thai restaurants and usually order Pad See Ew. Basil Thai's pad see ew was lacking vegetables and taste. Perhaps I should've ordered 3-5 stars (spice heat) to make it taste better. Was with my four year old, and was coming from south of Tacoma. Searched on Apple Maps for a Thai restaurant near my destination at Brown's Point. Wasn't expecting much, based on lactation one strip mall and appearance of the parking lot/stores in general. We were seated immediately., and were the only diners in there around lunch time. Wasn't a good sign. The server immediately brought us waters, and had provided us with menus when seated. She was ready to take our order as soon as she brought our waters since we had already decided. My son and I split a plate of Phad-See-Yew noodles. Server brought us two plates and cutlery for two. The food was surprisingly delicious! Possibly the best Phad-See-Yew I've ever eaten!
