I stopped in for lunch while I was in the area meeting with a client because I was really craving Thai food. One of the first things I noticed was that the prices are a little higher than the other Thai restaurants I usually visit. I ordered the lunch special with the cashew nut entrée, which came with Pad Thai, and I upgraded to brown rice. The portion size was good, everything came out hot, and the food tasted good overall. That said, the lunch special was close to $20, which felt a bit expensive for what it was. It wasn't bad by any means--I just think it could be a little cheaper for what it was. My boss ordered the Panang curry, and honestly, it looked even better than my meal. I may have just picked the wrong dish, so I'd be willing to come back and try something different next time. Overall, it was a solid meal with good food and decent portions. If you're in the area, it's worth trying, but just be prepared to pay a little more than you might at other local Thai restaurants. read more

The food is ok, I would say "average", and the servers are nice, but it seems to me there is a less than pleasant odor in this restaurant. I don't know if that is a cleanliness issue, or the cleaning products they use, or what, but I've noticed it each time I have been here. Their state cleanliness rating at the door is just "OK". Average food, decent portion. Not too busy on a late Sunday afternoon. We tried 2 dishes, Pad Kee Mao and Crispy Chicken, both are alright. Pad Kee Mao with fried tofu doesn't have a strong wok flavor, but does come with a lot of vegetables. Tofu pieces can be cut smaller. Pretty solid entrees, wanted a variety so I did the yellow curry, kee mao noodle and a papaya salad. Ordered 3 stars for each, the salad had the most heat. The kee mao noodles were the best, tons of flavor and not swimming in sauce or oil. The yellow curry was nice, not too strong or heavy on coconut. Both of these had an abundance of chicken. The salad was good and fresh, bright but there were only 3 pieces of shrimp. Each dish was $15, 2 of the 3 were worth it. Would do 3.5 stars and happily come again. read more

​ Five Stars for Five Sisters. My first taste of Thai food was when the Thai Airways crew had a small restaurant which consisted of a couple apartments in a building near SeaTac Airport. I was hooked and couldn't get enough of this food and eat Thai food at least 2-5 times a month, so have certainly tried my fare share of Thai restaurants. That being said, I have 2-3 favorites within a 40 mile radius I frequent to get it prepared the way I like. The Thai restaurant in this spot previously was one I didn't care about, so had little expectations when Five Sisters moved into this spot which is only half a mile from where I live. Fast forward to now, I have been here 10 times since October! First off the remodel was a success, the inside got a well deserved face lift and they've fixed up the interior so it could be used for a nice date night. The new staff has been nothing but professional, both in their interaction with customers and are well dressed to fit into the decor of the new surroundings. Not sure the couple other comments about slow service, as in my 10 visits everything has been right on time! All this is great of course, but the real test is in the food! Did I mention I've been here 10 times in the last few months? Our favorite dish so far is the Thai Basil with ground chicken. It is healthy and flavorful and the chef knows how to cook veggies properly, leaving some crispness left to them so you can tell they were fresh just before hitting the wok. We have not tried a dish we didn't love and have had the coconut prawns, Tom Yum Soup, Panang Curry, Mussaman Curry, Vegetable Delight, and the Heavenly Beef. This place is a find for right now until everyone realizes how good it is and I feel very lucky that it's so close to me! read more

Very nice environment. Nice clean modern look. It's a trying elegance with some past due Christmas decor but it's cool. The food is great, granted I only ordered the beef pad Thai but it's one of my favorite go to's. Pad Thai is very moist, good thickness and juicyness to it as it should be. It's perfect. Next time Imm for sure going to try some curry dishes and pineapple fried rice. Their spice level ranges from 1-5. My only critique l; I ordered a 5 (extremely hot) and to be honest, the spice felt more like a 2-3. I know Thai spice and get spicier, so I'd love to see the scale get bigger or for them to add an even spicier option. read more

Dined here last night for the first time with a party of five. Very clean and nice interior. Menu was easy to understand and we were warmly greeted. Food was served within 10 minutes of ordering and everything was great. We had the butterfly, shrimp, appetizer, shrimp spring roll, and a new entrée, crispy fried chicken with veggies and white rice. Great value for what we paid. We will be returning! read more

I came here on Sunday with a friend at 12:30 PM. We were seated right away, and passed by the tables that had food. Everything smelled so good! We like that the menus came with pictures of the food-it was so hard to pick! We ended up getting three things-the gyoza dumplings, pad thai with tamarind, and the fried chicken. Everything was delicious-nothing lasted long on our table (or in our to go box!). Their chicken was perfect, and the pad thai was tangy. They had a side of three condiments served in a beautiful dish-a fish sauce, a hot sauce and a seasoning. We can't come back soon enough-they nailed the presentation of the food, the side sauces/seasonings and most of all the service-their staff was friendly, warm and made great recommendations. This is something you don't always get with Asian restaurants. Tons of flavor and spices in the sauce and the crispy. Bits on top really went well with everything. -Gui-Chaai Dumplings were filled with filled with vegetables and went well with the sauce. If you've never had this dish before it's worth trying at least once. -Phad See Ew was kind of bland. I wasn't impressed with this dish. There was plenty of noodles though with was nice. Order the yellow curry in pork or chicken! DELICIOUS. Filled with peppers, onions and potatoes on top of sticky jasmine white rice. CAREFUL they start at a 2 star and thats SPICY!!! We were excited to try this Thai place, but as another yelp reviewer mentioned the sauce is runny and lacks flavor. Even with 4-5 spicy level, both dishes were pretty blend. Absolutely delicious! After a day of traveling into the area, I was starving. Ordered the wonton soup (spice level 2) and pad see ew with prawns (spice level 4) with a side of jasmine rice. Waiter probably thought I was insane cause it was so much food for one person, but everything was fantastic and incredibly fresh. It was 3 PM so pretty quiet and fast service. The portions were a bit smaller than I would have liked and the wait staff were not the most attentive, however the flavor of the food made up for all of that. The menu was varied and had all of the traditional dishes you might find at a mom and pop style Thai place. The atmosphere was upscale and gave me a bit of the hipster mom vibe, but in a good way. The music was a quiet mix of late 90's pop and current randomness. They have sliced Thai bird chilis in fish sauce, and it was a glorious addition to the already flavorful food! The spice level of 5 star chicken Pad Thai was not as spicy as I would have liked but still tickled my insides in a nice way. Generally speaking, it was the best sit down Thai experience I have had since before the pandemic. I love Swimming Rama -- fresh spinach beneath a Thai peanut sauce. To my delight, it's offered as one of the lunch combinations at Five Sisters Thai Cuisine. Combined with sides of Phad Thai and brown rice (they offer the option of Jasmine rice), my Swimming Rama with chicken lunch was delicious. The service from the waitress was fine as was the ambience. It's not a fancy restaurant. It's more homey where one can sit back and comfortably enjoy a good meal. The portions were quite ample. I had enough for another meal at home. The many positive reviews of this restaurant is on point. Probably the best Thai cuisine based on flavor and taste in the area. Although inflation is definitely reflective of recent price increases across the board, the value to price ratio is similar to other Thai restaurants. I ordered four items: Some Tom (Papaya Salad), Phad See Ew with Chicken Lunch Combo C2 - Panang Curry with Chicken Lunch Combo C5 - Thai Basil with Chicken All of the dishes were really well prepared and flavorful. You can tell they use quality ingredients and the presentation and packaging (to-go) is really clean. One thing that I didn't care for was that the Thai Basil Chicken was made with ground chicken. I would've much preferred sliced chicken, but I understand that's just how it's prepared. The brown rice was really good and high quality! You can tell that this is not your typical standard brown rice (see photo). So why 4 stars? I felt the service was pretty robotic and cold from the gentleman running the front of the house. No smile, no greeting, no thank you, not much of anything to be honest. Just really left me feeling a bit shocked at the lack of the human element... especially running a small business. I saw great reviews for Five Sisters and it's not too far from the job. My co-worker and I ordered a few things to share to try their dishes out. Through their delivery service, we ordered the Khao Soi with chicken- 3 stars, the Yum Won Sen- 4 stars, Thai Basil- 3 stars, and an order of fresh rolls with shrimp. After placing the order, we checked back 30 mins later to see the status of the order. The order was not accepted yet. Like it was stuck in limbo. My co-worker called the restaurant and a gal picked up, checked their system, and stated they couldn't find our order. It took her a minute to realize the order, along with another person's order, that it was under a different tab of some sort on their screen. The orders were FINALLY accepted! Delivery came in a timely manner after that. The Khao Soi was tasty but lacked the amount of broth. It was barely enough to cover the noodles, fried noodles and chicken. The noodles eventually soaked up majority of what was left of the broth. Also, there were more fried noodles than actual noodles. The Yum Won Sen was flavorful with plenty of ground chicken and only 2 shrimp. I thought there would have been a couple more on this dish, but it was very refreshing with all the herbs and cherry tomatoes. The Thai Basil dish with ground chicken was just okay. There was plenty of chicken and veggies such as green and red bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms, but it wasn't very spicy for a 4 star. The flavor on this dish was somewhat bland to me. Maybe more dark soy sauce was used rather than oyster sauce. Lastly, their fresh rolls were also just okay. It was packed with a lot of lettuce, basil, carrots, cilantro, thin noodles, cucumbers, and shrimp. The peanut sauce was not the best. Too much peanut butter and less of everything else. Overall, I believe there are some star dishes, but I lucked out on those today. If I am being completely honest, I currently want to give a 2.5 Star. Maybe in the future, I'll give this another try with their other items on the menu. But for right now, Five Sisters is on the bottom of my list for a while. This place is close to us so we eat here, but probably not anymore. Food is ok. Spicy is never consistent, the prices they charge are higher than what is listed on the website. Twice on takeout orders we were charged for the rice and when we get home NO rice. They only get a OKAY rating. If they had some other Thai restaurant close for competition they would definitely lose business read more
