UPDATE: 12/25/25 Merry Christmas!! It's been about 9 years now since I've been eating here. The quality of the food is still delicious. The restaurant gets very busy often. The employees are full of smiles and eager to assist you when you come in. This is still a great spot for Thai food. The food is still on point. I had ordered the following thus far: -Pad Se Ew with beef (delicious) -Calamari appetizer (delicious) -Crispy Chicken (delicious) -Thai tea (delicious but can be a little too sweet & at times too much ice). -Tom Kha with chicken & sticky rice (delicious). -Thai Fried rice (delicious) **Some of these are my favorites. I have yet to try other items on the menu. Drive thru is available as well. Parking can be a challenge. You may park in the Dairy Queen parking lot and walk over.

Pickup order time. Best Thai food in the area I have tried so far. So good! Hot when picked up. Very busy, which is typical for weekends based on feedback I have seen and heard at their location and from folks that have ordered from them in the past . 3 stars is fairly spicy so be forewarned! It definitely cleans out the sinuses. Steamed vegetables is a recommended add on. This establishment is exceptionally positioned for pickup or takeout. Easy to drive up, pickup at the drive thru window and then turn right at the light to get back on 410 less than ¼ of a mile down the road. I don't recommend eating in but if you don't mind the small space - go for it!

At 11 am, I wanted Thai food. What would be a better option than to do the lunch combo? I ordered for myself vegetable spring rolls (didn't feel like adding more weigh to my petite figure), Pad Thai (yum!), mild chicken yellow curry, and vegetable soup as the final side dish. Everything tasted so good! The service was fast, too, because the restaurant opened right at 11 am.

I am a Thian Thai fan and look forward to getting Thai on occasion. Yesterday, we put in an order to feed 4 which included an order of crispy chicken. Something was off. The crispy bits were tough and there was very little actual meat just tough skin and battered bits. The rest was fine, but not super pleased with the crispy chicken

I love a good appetizer sampler, and this one was particularly great. 3 dipping sauces?! Yeeees. We also got Pad Khee Mao, which I learned is the same thing as Drunken Noodle which is what I usually get - no wonder it sounded good. I love a wide rice noodle. It was excellent, and came out super fast. I also ordered hot sake and got more than I could drink for 6.50. I am a HUGE fan of this place and if I was local I would get takeout all the time. They even have a drive thru!

Staff was friendly! Although the place is quaint, it provides great quality Thai food. I really enjoyed the mango fried rice. It was so good! I would have liked to see more prawns and chicken in it. My husband had the chicken chow mein and he enjoyed it, however, it was dry and didn't have a lot of chicken. The veggies were cooked to perfection though. We also ordered coconut shrimp, gyoza, crab wontons and papaya salad, Thai coffee and tea. I was surprised the crab wontons were so small. The papaya salad had a little too much dressing. The coffee and tea was a bit too sweet for my liking. It was well priced for the amount of food we received. Overall, I would recommend it.

Pad See Ew Beef was the best thing here. Black sticky rice was yummy. The "Thai BBQ chicken platter" was off-putting, as it arrived with some hot chicken pieces and some icey-cold. It was clear it was previously smoked/grilled as it was tasty and had char, but they seem to freeze and re-heat it before serving. I'd skip the meat dishes because if this. Small restaurant only 7-ish tables. Had 8 employees in the small kitchen on a Sunday, so busy busy. Server was nonchalant, we seated ourselves and grabbed our own menus. Too many delicious Thai restaurants around King and Pierce County to ever return to this one.

The quality of food and value at lunch was amazing. Everything appeared to be very freshly made including the fresh veggie rolls. Will come again for sure.

We decided to try this place. It appears to be a local spot for the people in the area. The ladies took our order and we waited for our togo. The place is small and you can see the people preparing the meals. We went with duck and a shrimp dish with fresh spring rolls, cucumber salad with side sticky rice. They happen to have forgotten to put in our brown rice. We were not disappointed in the food of how it taste. It was actually pretty good, but we were disappointed on the portions of the selection and the presentation of the food once we got home.

We ordered a beef pad Thai and combo fried rice, they did bring out chicken pad Thai but they fixed that right away. Service was excellent and food was pretty delicious.

I recently met up with a friend from high school here for lunch, and this visit was extra special…read morebecause we hadn't seen each other since we were about 17! A LOT of life has happened since then, so we definitely had plenty to catch up on. Neither of us had been to Bloom Thai before, but we both love Thai food, so we decided to give it a try. This place is definitely different from any Thai restaurant I've been to before. It's super small, with only a handful of tables. You order at the counter, grab your number, and find a table. They also have a big jug of cucumber water that was so refreshing! They didn't have my usual yellow chicken curry, so I decided to try something completely different--the drunken noodles. I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, but OH MY GOSH... I was in love with this dish! The flavors were fantastic, and they topped it with deep-fried basil. I'm not even kidding when I say I think I've dreamed about that crispy basil every day since! It was SO good! The food was definitely the star of the show for me, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think this is such a fun little spot to meet a friend for lunch, especially if you want somewhere casual and different. That said, it is VERY small, so I personally wouldn't choose it for a family dinner with a bunch of picky eaters or rambunctious kids. The menu is also a little different than your typical Thai restaurant, so definitely keep that in mind. For dinner, I'd probably order it to-go and enjoy it at home. But for a girls' lunch or catching up with a friend? Absolutely! Great little find, and I will definitely be back for those drunken noodles and that amazing fried basil!

The service was definitely the highlight of my experience. The husband-and-wife owners were…read moreincredibly kind and welcoming throughout my meal. The husband, who was serving, checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed. The chef also stopped by my table when she came out of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pork belly was very crispy(an additional fee), but too salty for my taste. The Pad Thai was good, although not the best I've had. The noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. It did not come spicy, but chili sauce was available to add some heat. The spicy omelette tom yum soup had a great balance of mild spice and sourness, and it tasted very authentic. The texture of the fried omelette after soaking in the soup was not my favorite, but that may come down to personal preference. The Thai iced tea had a good balance of tea and condensed milk, although it was sweeter than I prefer. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table afterward. Water is self-service. They also have a helpful sign explaining the ordering and seating process for first-time guests. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a great ambiance. I especially enjoyed the small area showcasing the chef's history and journey. Overall, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience memorable.
