    Spicy margarita

Wandered in after a day of moving and unpacking. I ordered a spicy margarita and the salmon BLT. Both great. The spicy margarita is truly spicy, the way it should be, will give you fiery poops the next day, burn your bootyhole. Tim our server was great, we sat outside, service was fast, atmosphere perfect for a chatty sunset dinner. Will return again.

Trying out another neighborhood spot we walk past with our dog. It's a cute spot with lots of dog paintings and good background music and easy to have conversations. We ordered 3 different dishes to share and only one was good which was the crab cake. Not a very big crab cake but had chunks of crab and good flavor. The gumbo tasted like gravy with a few pieces of sausage and other stuff. The cream of crab soup was all cream and no crab and no flavor. Service was great as well as drinks but was really hoping for a better meal though especially for the price point.

This place needs more love! Some of the best service ever -- Michelle was awesome and gave great recommendations, like getting the half-half Maryland Crab Soup/Cream of Crab Soup combo and a lemon aioli sauce for our fries. We also loved the ahi tuna appetizer, truffle fries, and Ronan burger. Indoor and outdoor seating available, many with a water view. Lots of bar seating downstairs and upstairs as well.

Good prices, good beer, good food and great vibes. No idea why someone would not love this place. We came in from a 94 degree day, place was pretty crowded, but we got a table immediately. Service was good, food was quick and reasonably priced, drinks were cold and delicious. I'd love to be a regular at a place like this. Again, great vibes!

We were staying in Baltimore for the weekend and decided to come over to Fell's Point for a few hours on Sunday. This place looked appealing for lunch so we decided to give it a try for lunch around 11:30. At that time they had both the brunch and lunch menus available. The lunch menu had plenty of appetizers, soups, salads, burgers and other sandwiches and entrees. I decided to go with the Cobb salad. It looked and tasted great. It had blackened shrimp, crab, eggs, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce with an old bay dressing. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak with chips. It was a nice size sandwich and tasted good. Service was fairly quick.

A nice spot right in the heart of Fells Point. Great vibes, plenty of tv's to watch games and the service was pretty quick and attentive. I had a burger with lettuce, onion and bacon and a side of fries. My friend had a crab cake sandwich and chips and said it was cooked to perfection.

$5 marg Mondays with choice of salt or tajin on the rim. Pretty outdoor area looking over the water. I got the Maryland crab soup which is a tomato soup base. It tastes good but I wish I got the cream of crab soup instead. We also got tacos to share for our table of 3.

'Twas visiting my old coworker upon his move to downtown Balto, and he said we shall meet on the waterfront and find a place for dinner. We met right in front of a nice sunset view and a patio belonging to one Kooper's Tavern. I offer the following in favor of Kooper's: A very strong on-tap beer selection, backed up by bottles if you really need - but you don't. Small but varied food menu. Crab soup was packed with crab meat from top to bottom. Outdoor seating if you want, a nice dark interior with televisions to set the mood of an upscale bar inside more reminiscent of overseas. Friendly chatting with the bartender for a good portion of the evening. Just a couple of downsides here. The crab soup was a bit saltier than I'd like, although that may be the way people like it. The crabcake was far from the meatiest I've had, though at least not the breadiest. Somewhere in the middle, and a little small for the price point I felt. Verdict: Not perfect, but when you're in Fells Point, do you really expect more than you'll get here? I wouldn't, and I'm glad I Kooped.

My friend and I stopped in one weekend afternoon to partake a couple of margaritas for early happy hour. Good prices, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The Ritas were good, so we could possibly hop in another time for grub.

Kooper's Tavern definitely brings the vibes--warm, lively, and exactly what you expect from a Fells Point staple. The service was solid, and we kicked things off with a couple of extra dirty martinis and a glass of wine. All the drinks were excellent (the martinis especially hit the spot). For a starter, we tried the crab dip. It had good flavor but was just okay overall--mostly because it was surprisingly light on actual crab. Same story with the Maryland crab soup and cream of crab soup "half & half" that the bartender recommended. Fun idea, decent flavor, but again... where's the crab? The star of the night was the Ronan burger. Cooked medium rare exactly as ordered, and honestly one of the better burgers we've had in a while--juicy, flavorful, and done perfectly. Overall, Kooper's has a great atmosphere and strong drinks, but the crab dishes were a letdown, especially in a city known for doing crab right. Not sure if we'll be back, since there are plenty of spots in Baltimore where the crab dishes actually deliver the crab meat you expect.

We stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat. Service was great; our server was friendly and attentive. I loved the dog themed decor! Very cute. We chose to share a bowl of chili which came with tortilla chips. The chili was unique in that it had a bit of a sweet flavor. At first I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but after a couple of bites I decided I liked it and it worked well with the kick of spice. My bf loved it. It hit the spot on a chilly night. Overall, this is a fun spot to check out and I'll return for sure.

When the sun is shining and it's warm outside nothing hits better than enjoying an orange crush and a crab cake in Baltimore. I promise you! I used to frequent Kooper's Tavern a lot when I used to live in Baltimore and I'm glad to report that nothing has changed. Their crab cakes and crab cake sandwiches still hit (not the best in the city but good) and the orange crushes are delicious. Everything is priced well in my opinion and I love that they have outside seating options. Staff was fine, we did feel forgotten about a couple of times but I can imagine that's because of the back and forth that the server has to do as well as they may have been a little short staffed on this day that we came. All in all, highly recommend checking out Kooper's Tavern in Fells point on the next nice day. It's right by the water.

This back corner of the market has a bit of a retro club vibe with some TVs playing movies for you to enjoy if you choose to eat at the bar or any tables back there. My boys got a basic burger built to their specifications. Child #1 is vegetarian and lucky for him, they do offer Beyond Burger patties as an option. I opted for the fried chicken sandwich, which wasn't too bad. Crispy coating, but I felt the chicken was a tad dry. Fortunately they had a nice sauce to compliment it. The fries were average. You can opt for a variety of dipping sauces, which is a nice touch. The service is as fast as possible for made-to-order and the prices are okay. I felt very dismissed, he expressed that the rock probably came from the potato, honestly I was understanding that things like this happen as I also work in service. It was the way he responded to me, as he said "ok and what do you want me to do about it" there was no apologies or I'm sorry this happened. I wasn't asking for him to comp my entire meal, but the least he could have done was apologize and or discount the meal or one beverage. I mainly addressed this issue to make them aware, and I honestly wouldn't have written this review if Dan the general manager was one, polite and two the least bit apologetic. I walked out feeling dismissed and irritated. Better sub your fries for salad unless you would like an unexpected trip to the dentist.
