Visited here several times and tried a variety of dishes. Overall, it's good and recommend if you're hungry and don't want to wait for a table. Service is always good. This last trip, had the Mukeunji Kimchi. I don't recommend this particular dish. It's basically a very expensive kimchi jjigae. The broth was lacking probably because they don't use bone in pork but slices of pork belly. Not a place I would wait in line if its busy. read more

Best bossam I've had in the oc so far! I placed my order about 25 min before arriving and went I got there everything was all packed and ready to go! The women helping me with my Togo order were so nice and even included extra banchan in there for me. Love the service here! They give you everything you could ever want with bossam: lettuce, radish wraps, salted cabbage, seasoned radish, samjang, salted shrimp, raw garlic, raw jalapeños, soybean paste stew, different banchans, and rice. I have yet to visit the place myself, but I've tried their food twice as my parents church catered from here. I've tried their kimbap and assorted mini Korean pancakes (jeon). The kimbap was good, I would suggest to always get the one with the burdock as it adds more flavor. My mom said their teokbokki was also very good. The mini jeons were all really good. I think these come out as part of side dishes at the restaurant versus being sold on its own when I skimmed through their menu. Just know their pancakes are good!:) I also tried their fried shrimp, which didn't taste too oily. Their menu seems to have a ton of options for Korean food lovers, so I do want to try their main menu items soon. read more

Quick and friendly service. The lady always came and checked in on us and we never called her and she knew right away to come and refill our drinks. She was always on it. Food was delicious but the veggies for the ssam was frozen and i wish it was more fresh but i understand its done that way to preserve it longer. The lady gave my friend a portion of my cold noodle to try which was really nice of her to do since we did not ask but she noticed we ordered a lot. lol. Food- We got samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) with perilla seeds, and it was pretty decent. The portion of chicken was nice, and the soup was thick. But it was $23.95 which is very pricey. Service- All the servers were nice and friendly, but it took more than 30 minutes to get our dishes; Which I understand, but it would've been nicer if they told us it will take some time for certain dishes because all other tables who came later than us already got there dishes :/ Ambiance- It was very clean and nice but I don't get why they chose squid game as their theme because I thought this place is a korean pub or something... Came in to try the bossam out because it's one of my favorite Korean dishes and I'm so glad I did. It is one of the best bossams I have ever had. They gave us a hefty portion of meat and it was really tender and delicious. There were plenty of side dishes and they also provided us with seaweed soup and rice. This was so much food that we had to take the rest home. The waitresses were so nice too and they even gave us extra sauce for our takeout. This dish is more than enough for two people and it is absolutely worth the price. I'd definitely come back again. read more

Food: 7/10 Chicken soup (samgyetang): pretty good and what you'd expect but they serve a perilla seed version which makes the soup feel slightly heavier and thicker (8/10) Mushroom perilla seed soup: not bad but for the price (~$22), not worth it. Not sure what the soup base is but there is just cabbage and mushrooms (6/10) Service: the lady serving us was nice and friendly and we got more side dishes when asked but the food came out very late. It took them at least 30 minutes to get our soups. Came here for lunch during a day trip to Buena Park. I like coming to Buena Park because there seem to be more Korean restaurants with good food than San Diego. Both Ox bone soup and the bossam with soybean stew were delicious. My husband also liked the soybean soup. Good service. read more

Newer restaurant in small strip mall. They've been open for 6 months according to a staff member. Convenient parking in the back. Clean interior and friendly service. As others have mentioned, the banchan offering was good. Nice variety of items including scallion pancake pieces on my visit. I ordered the Dduk manduguk (떡만두). The broth was rich and flavorful and the meat tender. The reason I'm not at 5 stars is both the price ($20.95) and the fact that the mandu seemed store-bought. I totally get that restaurants use frozen mandu, but for the price, I expected more of a homemade taste/texture. Ordered bossam and it came with small soy bean jjigae. Definitely not a place I would go back to spend $. Here are my reasons: 1. Their side dishes are very limited. The lady literally gave me two separate containers with just one item variation. 2. Their soy bean jjigae was way too sweet and salty, not the right combination of flavor texture you'd like when it comes to Korean food... in fact, any food. 3. Their bossam is literally average at best. It's actually worse than the ones I make at home. So definitely disappointed at the lack of effort these guys put into their food. Overall, I feel like I just overpaid for mediocre food that I can make on my own. read more

Tried this new Korean restaurant and it did not disappoint!! The Gamjatang was the highlight and it reminded me of the one I had in San Diego at Jomaru except this was an individual portion. Wow!! The food was so good and I loved the different banchan they served! Many Korean places are not serving as much banchan or are just super limited with it. But this place rocjed! Pretty tight squeeze in this restaurant so I would say you do not want to bring a bug party here.
