Went here with a couple friends last night for dinner and had a great time. There were plenty of different table sizes with single or double grills so they can definitely accommodate groups of various sizes. We ordered the all you can eat bbq and I'd recommend this to anyone trying Korean bbq for the first time. The service was quick and we were able to try multiple meat options. The beef ones were the best out of all the ones we tried. It's probably a good idea to stay away from the seafood options as the squid we were served was overcooked and rubbery. We were given the option to cook our own meat and did this initially but then allowed the servers to take over after our second round of sliced brisket. If you need a place to socialize over dinner while putting meat in your mouth this is the place for you.

Went there for Korean BBQ. It was suggested to me from a fellow Nova born friend. We went and they food was great. Meat was fresh & tasty, and sides were fresh. Waiter was very attentive even though we came an hour before closing. We definitely tipped them well. The place is clean and nice. In my opinion, it's the only place in the Richmond Area that compares to the Korean BBQ in Northern VA. Other than it being a bit far from me, I would return!

I loved coming to Korean Garden with my friend. We ordered the Korean BBQ Combo B. This came with BulGogi - marinated beef sirloin, ChaDolBaeGi - thinly sliced beef brisket, Saeng SamGyeopSal - sliced pork belly, Dak BulGogi - marinated boneless chicken, Saeu Gui - marinated jumbo shrimp, DaeJi BulGogi - spicy marinated sliced tender prime pork, and an assortment of banchan. The lotus and corn cheese were my favorite. The combo was too much food for two people. Thankfully we were able to take the leftovers home. This combo is good for three to four people. It came out to about $90, which was worth it with how much food we got. The servers cooked our food for us on the grill. It was nice to sit back, relax, and eat. Their spicy sauce wasn't spicy enough for my friend. When she mentioned this our waiter said they had a spicier sauce and warned us that it was SPICY!! He brought it out and she adored it (it was indeed SPICY, think leftover burn for 15 mins kind of spicy). The food was not only plentiful, but tasty. My only comment is that the sesame oil made some of the meat taste a little off, but things were still delicious. I'd recommend checking out Korean Garden.

Service was friendly and fast and unlimited banchans! We were so stuffed afterwards with a lot of leftovers.

I took my mother here to celebrate her birthday. We've had awesome experiences at similar restaurants in the past and d wanted to try this one out. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. All of the staff was very attentive and friendly. This BBQ spot was a little different than I'm used to since the wait staff cook the food for you. Previously, at other places I've cooked my own meat so that took a little getting used to. I found myself feeling like I had done something wrong when I went to place some meat on the grill and the waiter came over to takeover. They have a nice selection of meat and the taste was delicious. All in all it was an enjoyable experience and worth the price. I look forward to future visits. Next time I know not to cook the meat myself lol!

Second time I've been to. I went once in a quick trip to Richmond and had a La carte dishes. I'm obsessed with Tteobbokki and theirs is really good, wish it had more sauce but still amazing! This time I tried the "all you can eat bbq" and it's soooo worth it! So much food! A lot of meat option, lots of banchans, rice refill. The corn with cheese was perfect Can't wait to be back around Richmond to eat there again.

I am used to a different KBBQ standard because I am from the DC metro area. That being said, it definitely does not come close to that standard but for a Richmond standard, it's alright. (Note: another Yelp reviewer labeled Gyu Shige in Mosaic in NOVA as Korean BBQ... that is categorically false. Gyu Shige is a Japanese BBQ / Yakiniku restaurant, NOT Korean BBQ.) Steamed egg was very good. Service was fine. Owner was heard very loudly yelling at someone (harsh / fighting words in Korean...) in the back so many customers were taken aback when that happened but especially for my table, since we understood what was being said...

This was a great place for a nice getaway The food was excellent and the experience was great. My only issue was that I went on a Sunday evening it was a bit slow so it seemed as if the staff was hovering over us a bit but I think they were just trying to be attentive. I recommend the brisket it was excellent The spicy marinated beef awesome kimchi was excellent. Definitely worth a return

I love coming here to eat the AYCE Korean BBQ!! There are not a lot of Korean spots in Richmond and this one is definitely my favorite. My sister and I always get the combo A. The service is great. The staff is quick and very friendly. The meat and all of the sides are delicious. I love the kimchi and often buy it from the store that's attached in the back! Highly recommend this place.

The service and food were amazing! The variety given from this place is definitely more than any Korean BBQ I've been too. They check on your food frequently to make sure it's well cooked and make sure you're ok with your needs met. Definitely impressed with this place, will recommend!

So glad I finally realized this was an AYCE kbbq place! Came on a Tuesday night, and we were seated right away. The food itself was great, I left full! I also encountered the confusion with pork belly others mentioned. I remember ordering thin pork belly, but what came to us was thick, no cuts. When I asked the lady said "yes it's pork belly". So maybe one staff doesn't differentiate the pork belly -- but they all taste different. I will say, there was another big party (6-10) next to us -- but since I was empty I didn't expect service to be as slow as it was. Another peeve is that it was AYCE for meat -- but I was charged extra for more rice and steamed egg. He did tell me this when I asked for more, but still disappointing. I'll probably stick to nova/dc AYCE places, as the price is comparable and you get free refills on sides.

The decor was what you'd expect, with torn seats and unsteady tables, and the aromas from the seafood counter did nothing to help. Then food arrived; my bibimbap came with hot stone bowl (which cost extra) and it was needed since the food was room temperature. After much stirring, it finally warmed up a bit. The egg was fried 'over hard' - not a nice runny yolk that should ooze and coat the rice. Also there was no seasoning, fortunately a side dish of gochujang was provided. Wife had ma pa tofu which was...different - in a Korean/Chinese fusion. Not traditional, but tasted better than mine. All-in all, not worth while.

We got the dolsat bibimbap and I always say the stone bowl is absolutely worth the extra money. The best part is always the crispy rice. Tteokbokki Having a vegan option without seafood was a great find. Most of the time the sauces have shellfish in them and I don't have the patience to make it from scratch. The noodles were cooked perfectly and they give you two vegetable dumplings on top. The sauce was nice and spicy without being too overwhelming. Kimchi pancakes: wish they had a bit more kimchi in them than the batter, but still good. Japchae with tofu, nice and almost beefy tasting. The black pepper was a nice punch. Korean fried tofu so nice and crispy with a really good sauce. I have been missing KFC since I turned vegan and good to know they have a good substitute for it. Service A good sized family run place where you can sit down or get take out. You order at the counter and they have a screen or you can be like us and take their paper menu to a table. A few four sized tables and some smaller two seaters. There was plenty of take out and delivery while we were seated. The person at the front was super helpful and patient as we tried to figure out what to order. They seemed busy and did not stop for too long the entire time. They came to bring us things and check in on us. Please use reusable cups for dining in and not styrofoam cups though! They have reusable utensils which is nice. Ambiance It's a fast casual place, but in a little strip mall in the county. They have K-pop playing and a stream of music videos so I didn't mind.

This place is consistent and clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is dangerously good. As many have said, you have to know what you're doing in order to make the most of this experience, and it IS an experience. You'll choose a soup base (all of them are good) which the waiters will bring and heat on your table. Then you'll hit the buffet and grab anything you want to add to your soup (they have all sorts of noodles, veggies, seafood and more). You'll also grab any meats you want to cook on your table's little grill. What I especially love is that the KBBQ and hot pot are all one flat rate, you don't have to order anything but your soup base and any drinks. I recommend getting a big plate for all of your soup add ons, and a small plate for your raw meats. They'll give you tongs to cook the meat and a giant pair of scissors to cut everything (wait to cut the meat until it's cooked). Apologies for the novel above, but maybe it will help someone. Yes it can be overwhelming if you're not used to the cuisine, but it is WORTH trying that something new. Qpot also has a full Chinese buffet, great for kids who are scared of the grill and the soup. We are truly in love with this restaurant. Thanks for always showing us a good time!

The waiter said he's gonna ask if I can get a side of kimchi because that's also not an option as a side order. It's a no go for a side of kimchi. They said it's a different kind of kimchi they use for the rice dishes. Oh well, maybe I can suggest that be an option in the future. Someone told me that this place was better than Bonchon so I'm gonna compare the two. It's definitely a friendly, family atmosphere. Plenty of options on the menu. Outside dining as well as inside. Appears to be very clean. Rice - mushy not how I like it. it has a hint of something it's not regular white rice. But it's also not Jasmine because I like Jasmine rice. Interesting. I definitely expected better rice. Not rice pudding. I didn't know the wings came with French fries but they were bland. Not even any salt. Chicken- they only gave me 2 flats and 6 little drumsticks. Ok, it's a little spicy which was also unexpected. I really don't care for them at all. The waiter was nice and checked on me a few times. I wasn't offered any ranch or blue cheese or any other kind of dip for that matter. I asked if they had buttermilk ranch, they did not, just regular ranch. No offering of wetnaps either. I had to pour some water on a napkin to wipe my hands. Since I said I'm comparing, I'm gonna have to give it to Bonchon for the better wings, the better taste of the soy garlic, and the rice. Sorry bb.q I'm disappointed.
