We've eaten here 3 times. Love the soondubu and jjampong. If only they would add mackerel to the menu

    Spicy tofu with beef soup

Went to visit this place for the first time today and they were wonderful. Service was awesome, food came out at a reasonable time. Spicy tofu is always my go-to when visiting korean restaurants, and I think this is the best spot for this dish. They were so generous with the tofu serving and there's no additional charge to add beef (not sure about the seafood). It was totally worth driving from 757!

It was pretty busy and I felt bad that there was only one person who was serving everyone, bartending, as well as busing the tables. I really appreciated him because he remained positive, had a great attitude, was super friendly, easy to work with and patient despite all that he had on his plate. When it came to our plates, we ordered a couple appetizers as well as entrées, and we also ordered drinks as well. We ordered the Spicy Pork Dumplings steamed, Kimbap, Japchae with bulgogi and shrimp, as well as a Bulgogi ribeye rice bowl. The food was hot fresh and super flavorful and I think my favorite bite was the pork steamed dumplings. They were so good and really spicy. Our cocktails didn't taste really strong, but I do think that mine was tasty. I ordered the CATch Ya in Seoul and it came in the cutest cat ceramic. Overall the spot is super cute and kinda intimate. I think it would be great for a date or just hanging out and catching up with friends. I would be mindful that it seems to be very popular and there may be a wait to get in and enjoy.

The waitstaff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The hot pot offerings, including meat, seafood, and vegetables, featured a well-curated and diverse selection. Similarly, the barbecue options were well-maintained, with a satisfactory variety of meats available. Overall, it was a simple and pleasant dining experience. Thank you.

This place is consistent and clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is dangerously good. As many have said, you have to know what you're doing in order to make the most of this experience, and it IS an experience. You'll choose a soup base (all of them are good) which the waiters will bring and heat on your table. Then you'll hit the buffet and grab anything you want to add to your soup (they have all sorts of noodles, veggies, seafood and more). You'll also grab any meats you want to cook on your table's little grill. What I especially love is that the KBBQ and hot pot are all one flat rate, you don't have to order anything but your soup base and any drinks. I recommend getting a big plate for all of your soup add ons, and a small plate for your raw meats. They'll give you tongs to cook the meat and a giant pair of scissors to cut everything (wait to cut the meat until it's cooked). Apologies for the novel above, but maybe it will help someone. Yes it can be overwhelming if you're not used to the cuisine, but it is WORTH trying that something new. Qpot also has a full Chinese buffet, great for kids who are scared of the grill and the soup. We are truly in love with this restaurant. Thanks for always showing us a good time!

We stopped by for drinks and dinner and were immediately impressed by the setup. Located inside Väsen, the food operation has a cool food truck-style pickup window at the back of the brewery when your pager goes off (order at the bar). It's casual, efficient, and adds to the fun atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish we tried delivered huge flavor and was packed with personality. This is the kind of food that makes you stop mid-conversation and comment on how good it is. The bar service was equally impressive. We placed our order through the bartender, and despite it being a Tuesday evening, there was plenty of staff on hand. Multiple team members checked on us throughout our visit, and every interaction was friendly, welcoming, and genuine. What really stood out was the sense of community. Although it's a relatively new addition to the Forest Hill area, it's already clear that locals have embraced it. They even have branded merchandise and cycling gloves for sale, and during our visit we watched several cyclists roll up, hop off their road bikes, and come inside still wearing their cycling gear. It felt like a true neighborhood gathering spot. Places like this give a neighborhood character, and Kobop Korean feels like something special. Outstanding food, great service, a fun atmosphere, and strong local roots. We'll absolutely be back.

I had the bulgogi taco which was huge! The beef was very flavorful, but it did have a ton of slaw/lettuce on it. I had to remove some of it. The dumplings were perfect! They were crispy and the soy garlic sauce was so good! The fries were ok. They were seasoned well, but could have been fried a bit longer for my liking. I also tried a 6 count of Korean wings in the bang bang flavor, they were ok, not as crunchy as I'm use to and the sauce wasn't my favorite. I think I'll try the soy garlic next time. To drink I had a Downeast cider which was served from tap and was cold and delicious (as usual). The service was great! There were no lines, we ordered quickly and got any questions we had answered. The seating was plentiful and they even had high chairs for those with kiddos. Everything was clean. I loved the food truck style pick up window! That just made the whole experience even better. I will be back to try a few other menu items.
